Verse of the Day
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Revelation 21: 2-4 KJV

It must be in the Book of Enoch, TR. And by the way. Try it. If you say “pseudepigraphist,” someone is very likely to request that God bless you, and then hand you a kleenex.
I suggest Enoch, which is supported by this statement from https://www.encyclopedia.com/religion/encyclopedias-almanacs-transcripts-and-maps/apocrypha-and-pseudepigrapha
QUOTE — The books of the Pseudepigrapha are more numerous than those of the Apocrypha, and only the better known will be mentioned here. Probably the most important work in pseudepigraphal literature deals with *Enoch the son of Jared, whom, according to Genesis 5:24, “God took” (i.e., he ascended to heaven). The Book of *Enoch is an account, mainly in the first person, of the visions revealed to him in the heavens. — UNQUOTE
Yeah TR — but you already knew that! Trick question?!
Oh sorry, Loz. I think I just took TR’s bait and seriously derailed your hopeful and beautiful message.

I know that in the Millenium the Earth will be remade and we will return here. But why? The people who survived the Tribulation will then experience Jesus’ perfect governance. I understand that. But for Christians, wouldn’t it just be better for us to stay in heaven? I don’t think I will want to come back down to Earth ever again.

I’m with ya … I rather be in heaven enjoying the beauty up there than on the earth even though it will be restored. Perhaps we wont remember the former things or recognize the earth since all the bad stuff will be removed? The church saints job duties looks to be kings ruling and reigning with Christ. And the tribulation saints will have the priestly duties of serving in the temple.
Revelation 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Revelation 7:14-15 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
I do ponder if all the aborted babies and young children who died if they will get glorified bodies at the time of the rapture and be the same age as us or will they have flesh bodies and they grow up slowly and part of our job duties are training and teaching them about Jesus so they can make decisions to accept Him as their personal Savior? Also it looks like not everyone will be living in the Holy Land … because this verse says they will need to travel to Jerusalem to observe Feast of Tabernacles or no rain will be given in their part of the region.
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
My guess is those believers who made it thru the tribulation will be subject to time during the millennium. Since they will still have their flesh bodies they will require sleep. Perhaps the 8 hrs they are sleeping we can get a break from our kingly duties and visit heaven?
It sounds like heaven will hover over the earth and the people on the earth will see it like they see clouds. So I’m sure we can travel back and forth to both places.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

I think I’d like to be able to go back and forth to the New Jerusalem on demand, spending glorious time up there with my family’s families, and regularly transporting down here, ruling and reigning on earth with many other Bride members, and helping mortals prosper, building lives for their mortal families, and also community enterprises for the common good; e.g., energy, water, transportation, plus satisfying trades and businesses for themselves.
I also imagine our stealth ability at that time to sit unnoticed in a back room in relation to an upcoming city council meeting, state legislature, or other political body, squelching the plans of any aberrant manipulators of the good and trusting citizens. I expect to enjoy being one of the new spiritual forces of good in heavenly realms ourselves. Can you imagine the satisfaction of being able to nip nascent New Order schemes in the bud? Yes!! It should be reasonably easy to help govern them since at that time “…the knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as waters cover the sea.” We’ll speak softly and carry our own loving rods of iron as Jesus’ ordained emissaries.
Sorry. Can’t stop thinking and hoping…

I also so like the thought of skipping around the glory of heaven, being where righteousness dwells. Kind of bummed at the thought of being responsible for people, I have been doing that for a few decades now, would like a millennial break
Are we there yet? It’s getting really crazy as the dark side (sounds like Vader), keeps moving from plan A to B to C ( should be next) … watch for it as they work so hard to destroy this great country.
Abba, we really would love to come home!

I am looking forward to an earth where the glory of the LORD covers the whole globe.
The earth is wonderful. God created it, after all. We’ve marred and warped it, yes, but it is still our Father’s world. :)
I want to see a Millennial Canada where people love and serve God.
So much to see and an eternity to enjoy it. Can’t wait.

God is willing to move Heaven to Earth and live with us!
There will be a new Heaven and Earth! Wherever we are with God will be Heaven.
During the 1000 yrs, flesh and blood will still need to be tested. Living with Christ ruling and reining, it will mimick the angels first estate!
Angel’s will always be servants. We start as servants and are able to work ourselves into His heart. Unlike the angels!
Guess God also feels that living with us will be Heaven! Heaven is great but empty when there is no loved one to share it with!
