ParticipantThe second charge of the light brigade, all over again?
It is interesting to see the reasons for the first Crimean war:
Crimean War, (October 1853–February 1856), war fought mainly on the Crimean Peninsula between the Russians and the British, French, and Ottoman Turkish, with support from January 1855 by the army of Sardinia-Piedmont. The war arose from the conflict of great powers in the Middle East and was more directly caused by Russian demands to exercise protection over the Orthodox subjects of the Ottoman sultan. Another major factor was the dispute between Russia and France over the privileges of the Russian Orthodox and Roman Catholic churches in the holy places in Palestine.

I do wonder if there is a secret motivation for this potential conflict and not what they are saying… ?

ModeratorThe thing that puzzles me is if we are about to go to war then why aren’t the big transport planes flying over my house like they always do when war is on the horizon? Those of you in Southern California, is Pendleton more active than usual? Those of you in eastern North Carolina, is Seymour Johnson airforce base overly active? If not, then I have my doubts about this.

ParticipantAgreed, Susan. It is in the Lord’s Hands.
This is a beautiful Psalm and very appropriate for this situation. (Note verse 5. :))
Psalm 27:1-5
New King James Version
An Exuberant Declaration of Faith
A Psalm of David.
27 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
2 When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
3 Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
4 One thing I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord,
And to inquire in His temple.
5 For in the time of trouble
He shall hide me in His pavilion;
In the secret place of His tabernacle
He shall hide me;
He shall set me high upon a rock.

ParticipantI cracked up when I found this in my email in-basket from an old dear sage friend:
Startling Perspective Re Groundhog Day and The State of the Union:
— In 2022, both Groundhog Day and the State of the Union address will occur on the same day.
— This is an ironic juxtaposition of events.
— One involves a meaningless ritual looking to an insignificant creature of little intelligence for prognostication . . .
— The other involves a groundhog.

Participantsomehow i think peace, relief, is about to break out. i know that sort of sounds crazy in the present environment. but the red horse that takes peace from the earth doesn’t get loosed until after the rapture. for peace to be taken, it has to have been present. i look at what is happening in Canada, and now convoys are forming in Australia and other places, and wonder if the stopping of coercion in various places worldwide will move the peoples to look for new governing that is beyond the political parties they have presently.

Participant77% Of Students At One Baltimore High School Read At Elementary, Kindergarten Level:
More than three quarters of students at one Baltimore high school are reading at an elementary level, with many reading at a kindergarten level.
Fox Baltimore reported that a teacher at Patterson High School, one of the largest high schools in the city, came forward with information showing 77% of students at the schools were found to have an elementary school reading level. Patterson has a 61% graduation rate and a $12 million budget. The teacher has not been identified to protect them from retaliation.
Project Baltimore obtained the results for all of the students tested at Patterson High School,” the outlet reported. “In reading, 628 Patterson High School students took the test. Out of those students, 484 of them, or 77%, tested at an elementary school reading level. That includes 71 high school students who were reading at a kindergarten level and 88 students reading at a first-grade level. Another 45 are reading at a second-grade level. Just 12 students tested at Patterson High School, were reading at grade level, which comes out to just 1.9%.”
When Fox asked the teacher how a student with such a low reading school could make it to high school, the teacher said “They’re pushed through.”
Fox noted that Baltimore City Schools have a “one fail” policy, meaning that students can only fail a grade once before ninth grade. After one fail, the student will be pushed onto the next grade no matter how poorly they have done.
The revelation comes at the same time that Maryland Public Policy Institute released a report showing that Maryland taxpayers are paying millions of dollars for “ghost students” – those who don’t attend school.
Baltimore’s enrollment ‘irregularities’ are not new, but a tradition with evidence of at least 15 years of enrollment fraud in its schools.” This is not the first indication that Baltimore schools are in need of serious reform. In July 2021, The Daily Wire reported that following COVID shutdowns, four in 10 Baltimore public high school students earned below a 1.0 GPA – and failing grades wouldn’t keep students from moving onto the next grade.

ParticipantCNN’s collapse is now complete:
CNN has completed its “riches to rags” journey in total humiliation, as President Donald J. Trump predicted. However, the mainstream media will completely ignore that Trump and his supporters were right about the unpopularity of pushing leftist propaganda.
In recent memory, CNN, led by Jeff Zucker, became nothing more than a constant attack machine of the left, solely focused on discrediting Trump and trying to marginalize and dis-spirit his supporters. Now Zucker and the entire news network see the consequences of alienating massive groups of people.
Some people believe the recent dust-up over the resignation of Zucker is over a relationship, and even The Hill is suspicious, according to their recent reporting by Joe Concha: Concha cited several reports he read to cite documentation that Zucker didn’t leave because of a relationship and hinted that it was more likely because Zucker’s actions forced him out.
And to prove that CNN has wholly fallen, Concha wrote: “Moving forward, what’s next for CNN when the company falls under the Discovery Channel umbrella later this year? Let’s hear from its soon-to-be largest shareholder, John Malone of Liberty Media.
“I would like to see CNN evolve back to the kind of journalism that it started with, and have journalists, which would be unique and refreshing,” Malone said in an interview that recently aired on CNBC.” -

ParticipantIn the late 1980’s – early 2000’s I will say this about CNN … they would show real news back then on the hour every hour vs. having to wait for your local news to report things later in the nightly news spot. So it was good idea they had going for those who worked odd hours to get their news source and for those on vacation to be … “in the know” of the disasters. Even though it would be repeated news … they would add updates for any breaking news. Then the tide changed with them being so liberal and one sided and then it morphed into bad mouthing each politician in office or running for office … they strayed BIG time away from their early on goal of “reporting the world wide big news”. I remember sitting in the family room keeping my dementia dad company and him having that station on from 2011 – 2015
I would have my ipad with me to use just to keep my sanity and would look up from time to time and watch the horror show of the bad mouthing. I thought this isn’t real news and asked my dad why does he watch it … he said he needs constant motion of action to keep his mind off his sickness of worrying and fear. The first thing I did once he passed away was to cut the cord on the TV service.
I did think the AC was going to use that station … now I ponder what station will be the platform to promote the deceitful lies for 7 years?

ParticipantHere’s an excerpt from Hal’s article…
The Punchline
The punchline to this is simple: A whole slew of people all over the world, recently took the COVID vaccines. One of the known side-effects of taking that vaccine is a sharp and prolonged reduction in CD-8 T-Cells; the first line defenses in the human body, to kill off invading viruses. Some people have seen an 81% REDUCTION in their CD-8 cells after being vax’d.
What do you think will happen if actual Smallpox hits such people? With their frontline immune system defenses dulled by up to 81%, will they stand any chance at all of surviving Smallpox? Or would the disease simply take them over like wildfire and wipe them out?
Oh, and no one would ever even question what killed them; they’d be covered in sores and pustules. It would be clear: Smallpox killed them.
The people who set it all up . . . walk away scot-free because nobody will bother asking how a disease that was CERTIFIED as ERADICATED 40 some odd years ago, and hasn’t been seen anywhere on the planet in more than 40 years, suddenly popped back up. And nobody will connect the dots that the Smallpox “outbreak” was done on purpose, and it wiped out 2/3rds of humanity — but only because those 2/3rds were set up to die by a COVID vaccine.
Humanity gets culled and no one is the wiser. Gee, how convenient.

Participant‘I get PAID to be homeless in San Francisco’:
A self-proclaimed’ old-school junkie’ who moved from Texas to San Francisco because ‘it’s f*****g easy’ to be homeless there claims he’s being paid by the city government to be homeless on the streets, getting $620 in cash per month and hundreds of food stamps while he sells narcan and enjoys Amazon Prime and Netflix on his phone.
‘This right now is literally by choice, literally by choice. If we’re going to be realistic, they pay you to be homeless here,’ James, a homeless man with face tattoos who has been living in San Francisco since June, told Michael Shellenberger, author of San Fransicko, a book about how the city’s progressive leaders are accused of worsening homelessness, inequality and crime.
James said it only took one phone call to receive government assistance, including hundreds in cash and food stamps worth approximately $100, and notes the ‘free money’ is motivation to remain homeless.

ParticipantBiden finalizing plans to hand out CRACK PIPES to drug addicts:
Health and Human Services (HHS), under President Biden, has approved funding to provide crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its ‘Harm Reduction Plan.’ It’s unknown if Hunter Biden was behind the idea for the plan.
Funding will be distributed to nonprofits and local governments through the $30 million grant program, which accepted applications until Monday and will distribute grants in May. Its purpose is to make drug use safer.
Among the items included in the grant are “safe smoking kits/supplies.” A Washington Free Beacon report says these kits might include pipes for smoking crack cocaine and crystal methamphetamine, or “any illicit substance.”
As per the Department of Health and Human Services, the kits will help to reduce the risk of infection. Typically, users smoke out of glass pipes, which can result in cuts and sores that become infected with diseases such as hepatitis C.
Furthermore, users are encouraged to smoke rather than inject themselves with substances such as meth, as injections are far more dangerous.
Program applicants with ties to ‘underserved communities’ are given priority.

Simply put, Biden hates Christians. His handlers, Obama and Susan Rice hate Christians. Remember, it was Obama who proclaimed that America was no longer a Christian nation!
During the campaign, Biden was speaking about the prohibition that Christians hold towards the immorality of the transgender movement, Biden stated that Christians, unless they modify their view, will be “dealt with.”

ParticipantJust Like Soviet Russia: T-Mobile Is Erasing Links to Gateway Pundit Articles if You Send Them by Text Message:
Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Communists were known for their airbrushing. If a top official lost favor with Stalin they were eliminated and airbrushed from society as if they never existed. Who would have ever thought this practice would come to our shores one day?
On the last day of 2021, The Gateway Pundit and Jim Hoft were banned from Paypal without warning. Now, we learned the tech giants are using a frightening new method to censor and control what you are able to see, read and discuss online.
Gateway Pundit reader “Mark from Louisiana” sent us this email on Friday: Hi. I live in Louisiana but I have a 949 area code phone from when I lived in California. When I try sending a text with your website link in it, the link does not go through to my friends and family.
This was not an isolated case. We have received dozens of these emails this weekend.
The Gateway Pundit is one of the top 250 websites in the country in 2021. We had over 900,000,000 million page views in 2021. TGP continually offers breaking news and our reporting is second to none. As the mainstream media continues to shovel out their lies and refuses to report the truth, The Gateway Pundit continues to grow year after year. Because of this, they hate us and do EVERYTHING possible to destroy us. This weekend Paypal shut down our accounts without warning.
And now T-Mobile is disappearing our links. You cannot send our links through T-mobile. They will disappear them. Your friends will not even know that you sent them a Gateway Pundit article.
From David: We ran an experiment at work with Apple devices on Verizon and they were doing the exact same thing.

ParticipantI have heard from several sources about older portraits that the artists did not like to have both hands visible because they were (and still are!) difficult to draw and so the painters actually charged more for both hands to show. Historical paintings often have hands hidden for that reason. So that might account for George Washington.
Photos, though, are a different story. The one where Cruz is in the middle and the other men have their hands over their heart while he has his inside his suit is suspicious. Maybe he thought it was closer to his heart? Humm. . . . . It does seem like a sign.

ParticipantSadly, it seems George Washington was a Freemason. ? That can’t be denied
However, he didn’t seem to be a very committed one, apparently only attending 4 meetings in 30 years. Also, many of the masonic portraits were done after his death.
I am not so sure that one can claim, as this woman does, that one can be a freemason and it not be incompatible with being a born again Christian. Freemasonry is an absolute stench in the nostrils of God.
However, maybe there is hope that we will meet George Washington in heaven. We will find out, in any case, soon enough.
BLOGHome / Was George Washington a Christian or a Freemason?
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2014WAS GEORGE WASHINGTON A CHRISTIAN OR A FREEMASON?By Krista Wenzel
Many skeptics of Christianity claim George Washington was a freemason and not at all a Christian. Many Christians claim the opposite. So which is it? Our first President is, obviously, not alive today to really set the record straight. It would be very helpful if he were. Since he is not, to form a conclusion on what George Washington believed we have to dive into his writings and documentation from contemporaries, and build a case from there.
First, it should be noted the practices of freemasonry in the 18th century were not necessarily incompatible with Christianity. It is completely plausible for George Washington to be both a born-again Christian and a freemason. In fact, records show George Washington was associated with both.
But can we draw a conclusion he was more of one than the other?
As a freemason, George Washing was a “member” for over 30 years. In that time, he attended only 4 meetings total. Many freemasons want to paint him as their most famous member, which, they literally did paint portraits of him in freemason garb. But he never once sat for one of those, and most were done after his time. In fact, George Washington claimed the one painting done during his time to be “mason propaganda” to paint him as such.[1] Not that you could blame the freemasons, would there be a better face for any organization to associate with than the most famous person in the entire United States of America?
So he didn’t go to many meetings and he wasn’t that closely associated with the freemasons, but that doesn’t necessarily make George Washington a Christian.
Records show, George Washington had a very close association with his home church, Christ Church, in Alexandria, VA. You can go to this church today and sit in the very church “box” which belonged to the Washington family. His adopted daughter, Nelly, (who was, in fact, his step-granddaughter) noted he rarely missed a Sunday, even if roads were bad and it took them over 2-3 hours to get there.
While he was traveling with his military and political career, which was indeed much of his career, record after record shows he attended church. Whether he was wintering at Valley Forge, or while he was in the First Continental and Constitutional Congresses in Philadelphia, he would attend services and fervently prayed. Right after he was inaugurated as President of the United States at Federal Hall in New York City, he immediately went to church to commit his presidency in prayer.
But as everyone knows, just going to church does not make you a Christian. The character of Christianity must be found in the person as well. Rev Henry Muhlenberg, an active Revolutionary who served with Gen Washington at Valley Forge, recorded that the General “rode around among his army…and admonished each and every one to fear God…and to practice Christian values.”[2]
George Washington’s family did not doubt his convictions as a Christian. Nelly wrote much later of George Washington’s beliefs. Claiming him to be a private and quiet man, but undoubtedly a Christian. She said, “It the greatest heresy to doubt his firm belief in Christianity. His life, his writings, prove that he was a Christian. He was not one of those who act or pray, “that they may be seen of men” [Matthew 6:5]. He communed with his God in secret [Matthew 6:6].”

ParticipantI think its just a wait and see on whether George made heaven or not. I do remember reading when I did research on freemansonry that when he was in attendance at church the pastor said to the congregation only if your soul is well can you partake in the communion service and Martha saw her husband get up and walk out the door of the church. Then on his death bed … the masons showed up to do a ritual … and she was very upset about it. So we really don’t know the heart …
– Fair Use –
Also when we made a trip to Williamsburg, VA we stayed at a Bed & Breakfast of a Christian family. The husband was a pastor of a small church and we attended it on Sunday. As we walked through their house to get to our room upstairs I couldn’t help but see paintings and pictures of Patrick Henry (he was definitely a believer) … and at the time my mom was interested in finding this print of Washington Crossing the Delaware so we asked her if there is a local shop in old Colonial Williamsburg that we can purchase it at? I will never forget her reaction … she crunched up her nose and said “oh no, we don’t allow him in our Christian home”. This is before I studied freemasonry and I thought how old. Then I understood later “the why”.
We did find this print not in Williamsburg … but so close to home … at Washington’s Crossing State Park – on the New Jersey side … they have a visitor center and souvenir shop.

ParticipantUS Senate to vote on legalizing abortion-on-demand, codifying Roe v. Wade:
WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – On February 28, the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate will vote on legislation that would enshrine abortion-on-demand in federal law, forcing states to allow the practice to go on virtually unregulated regardless of what the U.S. Supreme Court may say about Roe v. Wade.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York has scheduled the so-called Women’s Health Protection Act (WHPA) for a cloture vote after the upcoming legislative recess. Under current Senate rules, the bill would have to receive 60 votes before a final passage vote decided by a simple majority.
The House voted 218-211 in September to pass the WHPA, which has the support of President Joe Biden. However, the vote is likely to be little more than a symbolic gesture for Democrats’ left-wing base, since the Senate is evenly divided between Republicans and Democrats, and therefore would need at least ten Republicans to join every Democrat for it to pass under current rules.
Abolishing the legislative filibuster would enable the bill to pass with a simple majority, but Democrat Sens. Kyrsten Sinema and Mark Kelly of Arizona, and Joe Machin of West Virginia, are not in favor of going that far, to the frustration of left-wing activists.
In the meantime, the vote offers Americans an illustration of Democrats’ intentions for the country should they keep the House and presidency and expand their Senate majority, an illustration pro-lifers will be sure to highlight in campaigning for this fall’s midterm congressional elections.

ParticipantBay Area calls on residents to take homeless into their OWN HOMES:
Would you open up a spare room for a homeless person?
Bay Area officials have come up with a new solution for the progressive utopia’s ever-worsening homeless crisis: Why not just have local residents take homeless people into their own homes?
Last year, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) actually invited more homeless people to come from other states to pursue “new beginnings” in the Golden State, adding that Californians “have a responsibility to accommodate” these newcomers. Well, it looks like he meant this literally, as according to the Mercury News, government programs and nonprofits are now asking Bay Area property owners to help accommodate the area’s nearly 30,000 homeless individuals.
Homeless people have taken the governor up on his offer, moving to the Bay Area to take advantage of $820 per month welfare and food stamp provisions as well as notoriously lax law enforcement.

ParticipantA ‘Perfect Crime’ Leaving No Survivors: Investigators Detail China’s Grisly Organ Harvesting Industry:
They were in robust health when they were put on the operating table for doctors to carve out their organs. Many of them were still breathing. When the job was done, the bodies were tossed into the incinerator and burned, leaving no trace behind.
“That’s how the rule of law works in China in terms of getting organs.”
It’s a “perfect crime, because there actually aren’t any survivors” of the operation, added moderator Nina Shea, a human rights lawyer and former commissioner of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, now a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute.
Some U.S. officials are seeking action in Congress to bring the perpetrators into account. The two investigators agreed that the international bodies need to do more on the issue. Kilgour, for one, said he was “embarrassed” that Canada hasn’t passed any legislation on organ harvesting.
