Not very many people live in Montana.  If it’s not over a city or town the chances of hitting anyone are pretty slim.  It’s just another way we are kowtowing to the Chinese.

I bet if Trump were still President, he would have it shot down when it first appeared.

Montana is home to 150 ICBM missles. Forbes magazine in a 6/25/2020 article discusses China’s military doctrine of an EMP attack to disable the US power grid. This balloon is capable of such an attack, and or a biological attack.

Another China Spy Balloon Spotted Over Latin America:

Another China spy balloon was spotted over Latin America on Friday.

“We are seeing reports of a balloon transiting Latin America. We now assess it is another Chinese surveillance balloon,” press secretary Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said in a statement to CNN.

It is unclear where in Latin America the balloon was spotted.

The Pentagon said it does not believe the spy balloon over Latin America will make its way to the United States.

Meanwhile, the Pentagon is refusing to shoot down the China spy balloon making its way across the United States.  The high-altitude surveillance balloon is soaring over the US’s most sensitive military installations with Joe Biden’s full approval.

Joe Biden has failed to secure the US’s air space.  The Pentagon said the US won’t shoot down the balloon over concerns about a ‘debris field.’  US Pilots are now reporting the Chinese spy balloon is floating a few thousand feet above them.

The FAA on Saturday reportedly shut down air space near the Atlantic as the Pentagon gears up to shoot down the Chinse spy balloon.

This is of course after the spy balloon was allowed to float over the United States with Joe Biden’s full approval.  Joe Biden refused to secure US airspace and allowed the Chinese to fly a high-altitude surveillance balloon over the US’s most sensitive military installations.

The balloon was spotted over Charlotte, North Carolina on Saturday morning.  The China spy balloon was reportedly flying as low as 35,000 feet, according to Paul Sperry.

Canada Says It Is Monitoring ‘Potential Second Incident’ Linked to Chinese Alleged Spy Balloon:

The Canadian Armed Forces revealed late Thursday that it is monitoring a “potential second incident” related to the discovery of a massive Chinese balloon over Montana that the Communist Party claimed had drifted off course and coincidentally landed near American military sites of high importance.

The Pentagon confirmed late Thursday that it had identified what it suspected was a Chinese surveillance balloon over Montana, near an area housing nuclear missile silo fields.

The Canadian government waded into the fray with a statement confirming that it is working “with American partners and continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard Canada’s sensitive information from foreign intelligence threats.” It also suggested the existence of either a second Chinese alleged spy balloon or of a second incident involving the same balloon.

Ottawa has yet to provide any more details regarding the “potential second incident.” Canada’s Globe and Mail reported on Friday that the Canadian government had summoned the Chinese ambassador to protest the balloon’s presence in the country – a move that, at press time, Biden has reportedly yet to make. The Canadian newspaper of record also indicated that experts believe the same balloon over Montana may have spent significant time drifting over British Columbia, Canada, after entering Alaskan airspace.

The expert, Steffan Watkins, said Canada appeared to have used its air force to intercept the balloon in late January.

The balloon did not become a source of public alarm in either America or Canada until locals in Montana filmed it flying overhead.

Many public officials in the United States are openly questioning the Chinese government’s explanation, particularly in light of Beijing’s history of using meteorology as an excuse to spy on and infiltrate the sovereign territory of its neighbors.

Chinese officials routinely refer to illegal artificial islands that it built in the South China Sea, located in territory belonging to Vietnam and the Philippines, and their facilities as “research” or “meteorology” related. In reality, satellite images and studies of the region indicate China has built an intricate military and surveillance infrastructure in the region.

Secret CCP Overseas Police Station In NYC Closed After Reported FBI Raid:

‘This is treason if true’: Chinese spy balloon details hidden from Trump:

The headlines have been filled in the last couple of days with word of Chinese spy balloons crossing the United States at high altitude. So far, the U.S. has shot one down.

Of course, defenders of Joe Biden, on whose watch the apparent spying is taking place, immediately had to blame Donald Trump.  They charged the same scenario occurred on Trump’s watch, that China’s balloons crossed the United States, but without any news reporting.

Trump and his staff have denied they ever were told about them.  And now a report at the Gateway Pundit reveals a detail that should alarm Americans: Military leaders knew about the balloons while Trump was in office but withheld the information from the commander-in-chief.

The report explains it was U.S. Rep. Mike Waltz, R-Fla., who was interviewed by Stuart Varney on the Fox Business Network.  Waltz said current Pentagon officials briefed him over the weekend and said Chinese spy balloons crossed over Texas and Florida during the Trump years.

The report continued, “Waltz then dropped this bomb. Rep. Waltz said that Gen. James Mattis was secretary of defense at the time and decided not to inform President Trump because the Pentagon thought Trump was ‘too provocative and aggressive!'”

Explained the Gateway Pundit report, “This is treason if true. Mattis put the U.S. in danger, offered comfort to the enemy, allowed Chinese spying on U.S. installations, and then hid this from his superiors, including the president of the United States.”

Pentagon Shoots Down Unidentified Object over Alaska:

The Pentagon said that it shot down an unidentified object over Alaska on Friday after it flew at an altitude that would pose a risk to civilian aircraft.

“At the direction of the President of the United States, fighter aircraft assigned to U.S. Northern Command successfully took down a high altitude airborne object off the northern coast of Alaska at 1:45 p.m. Eastern Standard Time today within U.S. sovereign airspace over U.S. territorial water,” Pentagon Press Secretary Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder said at a Pentagon press briefing.

He added: “We have no further details about the object at this time, including any description of its capabilities, purpose, or origin. The object was about the size of a small car so not similar in size or shape to the high altitude surveillance balloon that was taken down off the coast of South Carolina on February 4.”

Ryder declined to say whether it was necessary that Biden be notified and that he — versus a commander — give the order to shoot the object down.

U.S. Jet Takes Down ‘Unidentified Object that Violated Canadian Airspace’:

An American jet shot down “an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace” Saturday after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ordered it to be taken down.

Trudeau announced that a U.S. F-22 with the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) “successfully fired at the object,” and it was taken down over the Yukon. Canadian aircraft was scrambled as well.

Military shoots down another high-altitude object, over Lake Huron, officials say:

Another high-altitude object was shot down on Sunday afternoon, this one over Lake Huron, three U.S. officials confirmed to ABC News, marking the latest in a string of such incidents.

The object was shot down by a U.S. military aircraft, according to one of the officials. Further details were not yet available about the object or how it had traveled into the U.S.

“The object has been downed by pilots from the US Air Force and National Guard. Great work by all who carried out this mission both in the air and back at headquarters. We’re all interested in exactly what this object was and [its] purpose,” Rep. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., tweeted.

“As long as these things keep traversing the US and Canada, I’ll continue to ask for Congress to get a full briefing based on our exploitation of the wreckage,” Slotkin wrote.

The downing is the fourth time in recent days that a high-altitude object was shot down over U.S. or Canadian territory.

The military has not confirmed what kind of objects they were, but Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said Sunday they too were balloons, though smaller than the first one.

The Daqi Chinese satellite is an “atmospheric environment monitoring satellite.”  “That means it’s in orbit around Earth in order to monitor global carbon levels, as well as atmospheric pollution.”  Why in the world would China care about “global carbon levels”?  “China emits more greenhouse gas than the entire developed world combined, a new report has claimed.”

These laser lights and the spy balloon could be the final touches on the CCP attack plans for Hawaii and the continental U.S… Our DoD allowed China to collect data/information/pictures across most of the U.S. and our military bases/silos.  Was this for mapping routes for hypersonic missiles – giving them exact paths/coordinates?  And not a peep from the DoD about these green laser beams over Hawaii.  Was this for 3-D mapping of the beaches of Hawaii for a land invasion?

We don’t even know if the laser beams came from a satellite – they could have come from aircraft.   Laser pulses are “directed at the Earth’s surface from an instrument attached to an aircraft.  The time it takes for the pulses to bounce back is measured, allowing researchers to work out the distance to the object or surface they strike.  Combined with location data, the approach allows scientists to build 3D maps of an area.”

Not a peep from the DoD about these laser lights.  That’s not a good sign.  Just like the CCP spy balloon – the  only reason we know about that balloon is civilians and news media sighted it and reported their findings.  That sure threw the DoD and Biden et al for a loop!!

The public trust in the DoD was profoundly altered, for the worse, after this spy balloon fiasco.

Doubts raised over Japan’s ability to shoot down spy balloons:

The downing of a suspected Chinese spy balloon by a U.S. fighter jet earlier this month turned the spotlight on similar objects that had been spotted floating above Japan in the past few years.

Similar flying objects were spotted floating above the Tohoku region in June 2020 and in September 2021.

Defense Minister Yasukazu Hamada said at a news conference on Friday that an SDF patrol aircraft had witnessed an unidentified balloon floating above the open seas west of the Kyushu region in January last year.  Usually, the SDF asks that a foreign aircraft changes its course in the air defense identification zone outside of Japan’s airspace.

In fiscal 2021, the SDF scrambled jets 1,004 times, with the majority of such cases dealing with Chinese and Russian military jets and drones.

While balloons are also considered aircraft under international law, there have been no scrambles reported by the Japanese government against balloons so far.

When a flying object similar to that downed by the United States was spotted in Japan in June 2020, then-Defense Minister Taro Kono said that the object had no impact on national security. While the SDF monitored the object through its radars, it ultimately did not shoot down the object.

Chinese investors own 384K acres of US agricultural land:

According to the United States Department of Agriculture, by the end of 2021, Chinese investors owned more than 383,000 acres of U.S. land. The land holdings amount to nearly twice the size of New York City, the New York Post reported.

According to 2021 USDA reporting, approximately 40.8 million acres of U.S. agricultural land are owned by foreign entities. The year-end report revealed that Chinese investors own 383,935 acres of land in America.

WH Group, a Chinese firm formerly known as Shuanghui International, bought out the largest pork producer in the world, Smithfield Foods.

Fufeng Group, a Chinese-owned bio-fermentation products manufacturer, purchased 370 acres of land in North Dakota last year. The group planned to invest $700 million to construct a wet corn mill. However, the project was blocked last week after national security concerns were raised about the property’s proximity to the Grand Forks Air Force Base.

Newsweek reported that the land owned by Chinese entities has a total value of $2.1 billion.

I heard about the U.S. blowing up the pipelines.  But the mainline press is not saying a word about it.  The purpose was to get Germany, etc. involved in sending supplies for the Ukraine war.

Border Patrol Encounters With Chinese Nationals At Southern Border Up 719 Percent:

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has encountered 2,999 Chinese nationals at the southern border so far in fiscal year 2023—a 719 percent increase year over year, according to CBP data released on Feb. 10.

“This unlawful amnesty program, which will invite hundreds of thousands of aliens into the U.S. every year, will only make this immigration crisis drastically worse,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said last month.

The Republican, along with 19 other attorneys general, has filed a lawsuit against the Biden administration challenging the legality of the program.

State Department spokesman Ned Price in a Tuesday briefing blasted China’s “provocative and unsafe” interference aimed at disrupting Philippine vessels’ “lawful operations” in the South China Sea. “More broadly, the PRC’s dangerous operational behavior directly threatens regional peace and stability, infringes upon freedom of navigation in the South China Sea as guaranteed under international law, and undermines the rules-based international order,” Price said.

Specifically, the allegation is that a Chinese Coast Guard ship used a laser device to “temporarily blind” the crew of the rival Philippine ship, according to the US, citing its Philippine ally.

The US said it happened in an area where Beijing has “no lawful maritime claims” as it occurred as the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) sailed around Second Thomas Shoal.

That’s when, according to an official PCG statement—

The Chinese ship illuminated the green laser light twice toward the BRP MALAPASCUA, causing temporary blindness to her crew at the bridge. The Chinese vessel also made dangerous maneuvers by approaching about 150 yards from the vessel’s starboard quarter.
The PCG further called it “a blatant disregard for, and a clear violation of, Philippine sovereign rights.”

Last summer Secretary of State Antony Blinken pledged and spelled out: “We also reaffirm that an armed attack on Philippine armed forces, public vessels, or aircraft in the South China Sea would invoke US mutual defense commitments under Article IV of the 1951 US-Philippines Mutual Defense Treaty.”

Air Force Jets Intercept 4 Russian Aircraft Off Alaska: NORAD:

NORAD has announced Tuesday that it scrambled jets to intercept four inbound Russian military aircraft near American airspace off Alaska the day prior.

“The Alaskan Region of North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) detected, tracked, positively identified and intercepted four Russian aircraft entering and operating within the Alaska Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on Feb.13, 2023,” an official statement reads.

The response included a pair of US F-16 fighter jets, assisted by two more F-35A fighters, an E-3 Sentry, and two KC-135 Stratotankers, all of which were sent to intercept the Russian aircraft, which included among the the four aircraft a Tupolev Tu-95 “Bear” long range bomber and SU-35 fighter jet.

But interestingly, NORAD called the incident “routine” – given it has happened an estimated six to seven times a year on average over the past decade or more. Additionally, no breach of actual US airspace was reported by the Russian planes, just the outlying ADIZ.

“Russian aircraft remained in international airspace and did not enter American or Canadian sovereign airspace. This Russian activity in the North American ADIZ occurs regularly and is not seen as a threat, nor is the activity seen as provocative,” the statement continued.

However, currently, there are heightened tensions with Russia related to the Ukraine war, but also given the unusual spate of ‘unidentified object’ shootdowns by US fighters over the last week – two of which were in far northern regions, including northeastern Alaska and Canada’s Yukon territory.

Biden Administration Spent over $1.6M Shooting Down What May Be $12 Hobby Balloons:

President Joe Biden on Thursday addressed the nation for the first time on the spate of shoot-downs of objects by the United States military over the past two weeks — four shoot-downs in total involving a Chinese spy balloon and three additional still-unknown objects.

“A small, globe-trotting balloon declared ‘missing in action’ by an Illinois-based hobbyist club on Feb. 15 has emerged as a candidate to explain one of the three mystery objects shot down by four heat-seeking missiles launched by U.S. Air Force fighters since Feb. 10,” Aviation Week reported.

The outlet said the club’s balloon — a “silver-coated, party-style, ‘pico balloon’” — was last seen on Feb. 10 at 38,910 feet off the west coast of Alaska. That was the same day Biden ordered an F-22 fighter jet to shoot down an object at around that altitude in that area.

In fact, the outlet reported, the descriptions of all of the three still-unidentified objects that were shot down after the Chinese spy balloon “match the shapes, altitudes and payloads of the small pico balloons, which can usually be purchased for $12-180 each, depending on the type.”

The military has acknowledged it used AIM-9X Sidewinder missiles to shoot down each object. Each missile costs around $400,000. One object required two missiles after the first one missed, bringing the total cost of shooting down the three objects to more than $1,600,000.

Those costs do not include operating labor and fuel costs for operating the F-22s, or other aircraft involved in the shoot-downs. Operating costs for F-22s are $85,325 an hour, according to Popular Mechanics.  The costs also do not include recovery operations, which have been ongoing for days in three different locations.
