Seems to me that belief in the doctrine of imminency seems to countermand the belief of the Rapture needing to be associated with a feast day!?

:agree    I wonder who came up with imminency?

I only see a set number of Gentiles that will get saved and then BAM the church age ends.  For all we know God could have that last person get saved on Feast of Trumpets day.   And of course there are Jews that are getting saved in the church age as well.

      Romans 11:25

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

I think the rapture can be associated with a feast day but does not have to be associated with one. The rapture can still happen at any time.

      Amir Tsarfati:

Over the past few days I have received hundreds of questions via direct messages on Instagram to which I answered as much as I could.
One of the most common questions was if the rapture of the church is before or after the Ezekiel war.
I believe just like the apostle Paul did, that the rapture can take place at any given moment. “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.” ( 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Yep, I’m leaning we are not here to see Ezekiel’s war ..  and any nuclear exchange happens after the church goes home!

I lean now the “sudden destruction” will be … some nuke(s) will go off.  Check out the similarity of the words used in II Peter 3:10 time frame … “day of the Lord will be as a thief in the night” same phrase is used in II Thess chapter 5. God’s wrath while they are saying peace and safety …

        II Thess 5:2, 3, 9

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

        ———-

And the rapture happens in I Thess 4:16-17

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

        ————

II Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

So  no wonder there will be a GREAT revival after the church leaves.

        Revelation 7

        9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

      Luke 21

      25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (Nuke exchange?)

Is this verse talking about the 2nd coming or the rapture?

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. (Will the unsaved see us flying home      )?

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I think only our bodies change in a nano second but the going up     is slower for all to see.

      Acts 1:11 …

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

My neighbor lady has a son who teaches at our high school. I asked her if he has to deal with the LGBTQ agenda. Her reply was, “ The kids are so accepting.”  I told her that the Bible says it is wrong.  She didn’t respond. She and her family attend mass weekly. I guess they don’t take the Bible to heart. Her response is typical of what I encounter.  This is not our Home. Come Lord Jesus.

Again, John the Baptist was beheaded for calling out sexual impurity in the government of his day!  TR

If the “grooming” of our children bothers us, think how The Lord Jesus must feel. He did mention millstones around their necks and thrown in the sea. I can’t imagine anyone in their right mind thinking grooming is OK. He must be coming for us soon.
