Here is a challenge to our “immediate Rapture” hope, but the development of the overall idea here and the timeline proposed are definitely compelling. This presentation is very high quality, clear, and certainly worth considering. I’m not arguing for it’s being so, just throwing it out for thought. It bundles neatly, in my opinion.
Again I suggest subtitles English (auto-generated) and if you want to save some time run it faster than 1X (Normal).

Yeah, Tammy. I move that we have a multi-year gap between the Rapture and the Tribulation if this proposal plays out thus. Any seconds?
I was almost afraid I’d be run out of RITA Now on a rail by proposing such a dismal possibility.
I don’t know if anyone has seen Tom Horn’s proposal about “Apophis,” as I understand it an asteroid the elites are counting on hitting earth in 2029. I have been rejecting that idea out of hand, insisting that by then the Tribulation would be over! Nevertheless, this timeline would allow that to fit. Hush up, Dan!!!
Hey guys, bring that rail over here! And on your way, bring that hot tar and those feathers!
Oh Lord, no! Now, Lord! Please!
September 30, 2020 at 12:44 pm #37723
No, we don’t tar and feather family, might boo ya a bit, Stick out the tongue and make the ugly faces, but that would seem very unfriendly.
Honestly, you don’t have to look to hard to find any timeline to fit any thought you may prefer…lots to choose from!
Can imagine why anyone would want to stay on this old planet over having your home in the heavenlies any longer than necessary.
Having worked many years in trauma, I’m not a fan of tying folks to rails either, blood splatter is really messy, difficult to near impossible to put body parts back together effectively after one of these episodes! So we’ll just stick with the ugly face making and booing, plus you will have to pay penance by standing in the back of the line at our buffet.

I’m personally looking at an October trick or treat surprise. I think Trump’s wish/goal is to have “the many” all signed up and on board the Abrahamic Accords before election in Nov. Let’s face it whoever wins its going to get ugly in Nov onward so I can’t see them announcing world peace and security at that time.
So I’m expecting them to be announcing those famous words sometime in Oct 2020!

Hey, I wouldn’t mind at all being a cheerleader … just got to get some Pom Poms and will cheer to the magnificent 7 theme song! This guy does a pretty good solo job … reminds me of my college days ,,, only they did it with more flare/jazz … a few more trumpets, a saxophone, tuba and drums. What could possibly go wrong? Instead of a pep rally it sounded more like a rock concert. It brought a huge crowd of teenagers walking the city sidewalks to stop and line up outside the campus gates looking in thinking it was a rock concert. The Dean of Men said we like your enthusiasm but you need to tone it down … we have a reputation to keep.

Tom died May 6th 2019 at 77yrs old. Prior to that he was convinced that the Raprure was 3 1/2 years away! Hmm?!
That said, I am still hoping for 2020, and no later that May 2021!
Time will tell. But it’s getting pretty scary and ugly down here!
Enjoyed Pastor Woods teaching greatly. But with regards to the parable of the ten virgins my ignorance must be showing!
True that Matthew is speaking directly to a Jewish audience, but also subscribe to the principle: to the Jew first, then to the Gentiles!
Again, Christ at his second coming will not come as a Bridegroom! Secondly, the reference to oil IE: having the Holy Spirit doesn’t seem to fit with national Israel accepting the AC!
I have therefore always maintained the parable held a concealed double entendre! One for the Jews, one for the Church! Sounds goofy I know, but it was Paul who declared the mystery in the first place! Not unlikely to incorporate the Rapture as well!
Christian’s will not be excluded at the last minute, but rather some will be found to be sealed at the time or not! Such as Christian’s in name only! As is the prerequisite for being Raptured!
Again excuse my ignorance in such matters!

Lol. I am not sure where it is. I’ll have a look.
I’ll try to summerize in the meantime:
If we take Bishop Usher’s date of 4,004 BC as the creation of the world and say that Adam sinned when he 30, the age of entry into the Priesthood (mirroring the Second Adam Jesus Christ entering His ministry at about the age 30) then that brings us to 3974 BC.
3974 + 2020 -1 (for no year zero) = 5993 years. Add 7 for the Tribulation and you come to 6,000 years.
Hope that helps.

Then if you add the 1000 year reign you come to 7000 and thus begins the jubilee of Gods rest….
FYI – with the Revelation 12 signs occurring in 2017 shall we also make note that as Jonah was 3 days, Christ was 3 days, we have now been 3 days (3 yrs as symbolic) —- just a thought in my wandering mind

James Ussher or Usher lived from 4 January 1581 to 21 March 1656.
He was the Church of Ireland Archbishop of Armagh and Primate of All Ireland between 1625 and 1656.
and he became a professor of theology in Dublin, in1621.
In speech and writing, he led a fierce battle against the Roman church and the pope, but this was also during the Reformation. .
He was a productive teacher and church leader who today is most famous for his chronology, seeking to establish the time and date of creation as around noon. 18.00 on October 22, 4004 BC.
October 22, eh?
October 1, 2020 at 11:52 am #37763
October 22 was the date the Millerites (later some of them formed the 7th day Adventist cult) picked for the return of Jesus Christ in 1844.
I assume they got the date from Bishop Usher.
Would be kind of interesting if October 23nd ends up being the exact opposite of disappointment. Might cause a few 7th day Adventists to wake up and repent.

I’ve been checking out the video and found it quite interesting. Of course, I didn’t care for the idea of the terminal point for testing it being three years down the road. It could work out that way, but I hope it doesn’t.
Was the world created in 4004 BC? I did my own analysis a number of years ago, and Bishop Ussher’s chronology does take you back to that date. However…that doesn’t mean it’s to be taken at face value. For example, the generations in Luke, going back to Adam, include a few names not mentioned in Genesis. Is one wrong? No, it was just accepted practice to skip generations, as the word “begat” does not necessarily mean someone was the immediate father of that person. The list in Luke appears to follow the Septuagint version, and has a extra names, and therefore would suggest some extra time in the history.
I will say I find the 7,000 year theory compelling, and it is an ancient concept.
The video is also based on a 365.25 day year, and Daniel and Revelation give us a 360 day year for the time, times and half a time.
I do appreciate that the makers of the video state that we may have “up to” three more years remaining, yet there is no guarantee the rapture will be delayed that long. You’d have to adopt a “gap” theory to have the rapture before 2023, though.
