Australia Snubs Israel: Reverses Recognition of Jerusalem as Capital:

Australia’s left-wing Labor government has reversed the previous conservative administration’s recognition of west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.  Tuesday’s move drew an angry response from the Jewish state and applause from Palestinian activists and the Hamas terrorist organization.

Wong told reporters the 2018 decision by the previous conservative coalition leader, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, had “put Australia out of step with the majority of the international community” and was met with concern by Muslim-majority neighbor Indonesia.

Israel’s Prime Minister Yair Lapid expressed disappointment in Australia’s changed position, deeming the move a “hasty response,” the Times of Israel reports.  “Jerusalem is the eternal and united capital of Israel and nothing will ever change that,” the prime minister said in a statement published by his office.

He added as a general rule, Israel did not define the capital cities of other nations, so other countries should not do so for Israel.

Meanwhile, the Israeli foreign ministry has summoned the Australian envoy to lodge a formal protest.

Reports in Syria:  Explosions heard in Damascus following air strike attributed to Israel

            Israel National news

The reports also said that explosions were heard over the capital, Damascus.
Syria’s official news agency, SANA reported that ‘the air defense systems were activated against an Israeli attack over the skies of Damascus’.

The London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and Iranian media reported that the air strike was aimed at Iranian targets, including military depots and trucks.
Another report claimed that one of the targets of the attack was also a Syrian anti-aircraft battery south of Damascus.

There was no immediate information on damages or injuries.

Friday’s air strike comes a month after Syria claimed that 5 solders were killed in an Israel attack on the Damascus airport.

Netanyahu Won’t Take Orders From American Congressmen:

Benjamin Netanyahu says that if next week’s election brings him back to the Prime Minister’s Office, he won’t be taking direction from Washington on who to include in his coalition.

Recently, two US congressmen warned that if Netanyahu were to include far-right lawmaker Itamar Ben Gvir in a future government, it could damage US-Israel relations.

On Tuesday, Netanyahu told an ultra-Orthodox Jewish radio station that he will not be dictated to, not even by Israel’s staunchest allies:

“We are a democracy and we will decide who will be in the next government. I know how to stand up for us.

Good for him!  Sadly, the world does not like politicians with a backbone or any moral compass!   Especially in the face of the “spirit of anger” that seems to dominate in the hearts of men today.  Whether we speak of “karen’s”, road rage, intemperate and abusive politicians, despots or gang mentality and lawbreakers, the sense of entitlement or self empowerment has gone awry!  Especially when we realize that this “spirit of anger” is fueled by all inclusive hatred!  TR

So if Bibi wins on Nov 1st … I wonder when he officially starts work as Prime Minister?  Is it right away or a few weeks or months later?  Is he for the 2 state solution or will he nix it?  Then will that mean the United Nations will make sure they announce the 2 state solution before Bibi becomes PM?

Is Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s Wife a Messianic Jew?
Israeli social media is again stirring over the issue after a local Messianic ministry identified Lihi Lapid as a believer in Jesus:

Interim Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s wife, Lihi, has a sister who is known to be a Messianic Jew (a Jew who believes in Jesus), as Israel Today previously reported.

With elections just days away, that connection to Messianic Judaism is again stirring up Israelis on social media, with some wondering if faith in Jesus extends to the Lapid household.

Lihi’s sister, Ilil Keren, faced a media firestorm back in November 2021 after her brother-in-law, who was then foreign minister, appointed her to the board of the Jewish National Fund.  While Lapid’s political opponents howled about nepotism, the media, and in particular the ultra-Orthodox media, was heavily focused on Keren’s faith in Jesus.

Lapid’s wife and sister-in-law aren’t the only high-profile, government-connected Israelis to speak positively of Jesus in recent years.

In 2019, Yair Netanyahu, son of Benjamin Netanyahu, took to Twitter to defend Jesus’ true Jewish heritage when Palestinian activists tried to claim him as one of theirs.  And earlier this year, the young Netanyahu highlighted that Easter–which commemorates Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection–is a Jewish affair.

He wrote on Twitter in April, “This year Easter and Passover are celebrated on the same day. You might not know it, but the “last supper,” was actually the celebration of the “Passover Seder” by Jesus and his disciples (all of whom were Jewish). The supper took place on Mount Zion in Jerusalem.”

Netanyahu Vows to ‘Restore Israel as a Rising Power’ When He Retakes Office:

Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who seems to have won a resounding election victory as most of the votes were tallied on Wednesday, vowed he would “return Israel to its place as a rising power among the nations” when he takes office.

Israeli voters want “to return the national pride that was taken from us. And this we’ll bring as well,” Netanyahu said.

He said he would work towards “expanding the circle of peace” known as the Abraham Accords, which saw Israel and several Arab Muslim nations sign Trump administration-brokered normalization agreements establishing ties under his previous tenure.

The nation, Netanyahu said, “wants another way. It wants security. It wants to lower the cost of living. It wants strength. It doesn’t want shame. It doesn’t want to lower its head. It wants an upright stance. It wants political understanding, but with firmness.”

His being reelected coincides with personal statements that he would be PM when the end would come!  Again, I liken our days spiritually with those of Noah!  As I see that scenario being played again in our time, awaiting God’s judgement and wrath to be poured out on a global basis!  The symbolism and type and shadow of Noah’s time and ours is undeniable!  We are simply awaiting instructions to enter the “Ark” or our redemption and salvation!  As we are called into His presence into the heavenly realm which is in fact our Ark!  Whenever that call is given it shall nonetheless be glorious!  Noah waited for 7 days to see God’s wrath poured out.  In the upcoming aftermath of the Rapture will Israel then begin building the temple 7 days later?!  Or will the demonic realm be released after 7 days?  Again, just the last of the harvest being gathered these days!  TR

Bible’s Reliability Further Affirmed as King Hezekiah Inscription Deciphered:

A broken portion of an engraving on a limestone tablet the size of your palm (see photo below) is adding yet further confirmation to the biblical account and giving a new twist on how Israel’s kings saw themselves.

The partial inscription engraved in ancient Hebrew letters was originally reported in 2008, but was not deciphered until recently. The letters on the inscription are only fragments of words, with the rest of the letters having been broken off. When found, the artifact was near an ancient man-made pool together with pottery shards dating to the 8th century BC. However, at the time the Israel Antiquities Authority did not make a conclusive connection between the inscription, King Hezekiah and the pool.

Now two mainstream Israel archaeological experts, Gershon Galil and Eli Shukron, have concluded that the full inscription was:

“Hezekiah made the pool in Jerusalem.”
The parallel passage is found in 2 Kings 20:20, which reads:
“As for the other events of Hezekiah’s reign, all his achievements and how he made the pool and the tunnel by which he brought water into the city…” (NKJ)

Not so many years ago, skeptical archaeological minimalists were claiming only minor evidence had been found for the reliability of the Bible. However, year by year those claims are increasingly being shown to have been premature and mistaken.

“The Israeli kings were indeed mentioned in extra-biblical Assyrian, Babylonian, Aramaic, Moabite inscriptions as well as on Hebrew seal impressions – but this is the first time that a fragment of a monumental Hebrew royal inscription has been deciphered that mentions the name of the king whose achievements were detailed in it. The discovery strengthens the approach of researchers who emphasize the reliability of the Bible, since it teaches that right in front of the eyes of the Bible’s authors stood monuments with royal inscriptions… [engraved at the very] time of the kings mentioned in the Bible.”

Bible’s Reliability Further Affirmed as King Hezekiah Inscription Deciphered

Benjamin Netanyahu warns of new ‘pernicious’ form of antisemitism, reveals behind-the-scene details of Middle East peace deals with Donald Trump, being ‘disrespected’ by Barack Obama in wide-ranging Glenn Beck interview (snippets only):

Netanyahu was promoting his new memoir titled “Bibi: My Story.”
In the book, the former Israeli prime minister revealed that he was “mistreated and disrespected” by Barack Obama when he was president.  Netanyahu said Obama “took the gloves off” during their first White House meeting in 2009.

“With staff present, he made it clear that the U.S. would not tolerate further stalling or obstructions in the peace process, leaving no doubt which party he thought was responsible for such things,” Netanyahu wrote in his new memoir.

The Times of Israel reported, “Netanyahu says he felt the president engaged in ‘a premeditated shock-and-awe’ effort to make clear that past pressures on Israeli leaders on issues pertaining to the Middle East conflict ‘would pale in comparison to the ones that would be applied to me.'”  “The prime minister of Israel was being treated as a minor thug in the neighborhood,” the book read.

Obama allegedly instructed Netanyahu in private, “I expect you to immediately freeze all construction in the areas beyond the 1967 borders. Not one brick!”

Obama then purportedly boasted, “You know, people often underestimate me. But I come from Chicago, where I had to deal with tough opponents.”

Recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel:
Then-President Donald Trump allegedly asked to speak to Netanyahu about the potential threats of violence if the United States recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Netanyahu told Trump, “I said, ‘Look, I don’t see it . . .'”  “Anyway he decided luckily or gratefully that he would declare Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, and of course, nothing of the kind that was described happened,” he said.

Netanyahu said the move was a “great moment,” and Trump “punctured this myth and frankly finally punctured this lie” that Jerusalem couldn’t be recognized as the capital of Israel.

How America and Israel are similar:
Netanyahu remarked, “I think that the case of America and Israel, we were both founded on an ideal. Our idea was to return to the promised land, and your idea was to create a new promised land of liberty.”

You can watch Glenn Beck’s entire interview with Prime Minister-elect Benjamin Netanyahu below (at the link).

Jacob’s Sheep arrive at Beit El (House of God):

“Let me pass through your whole flock today, removing from there every speckled and spotted animal—every dark-colored sheep and every spotted and speckled goat. Such shall be my wages.”  Genesis 30:32 The Israel Bible

The flock of Jacob’s Sheep has arrived at the next stop in their journey home: Beit El, the house of God, the scene of Jacob’s prophetic dream of a ladder connecting heaven and earth. And for the first time, a pair of rams can now be viewed by the public.

In 2017, a flock of a rare breed of Jacob’s Sheep arrived in Israel from western Canada. But after arriving in the Holy Land, the flock was unable to find a permanent home. Last year, the flock was taken under new management with the intention of maintaining the rare breed.

Despite the extraordinary efforts of the previous owners, Jenna and Gil Lewinsky, the flock dwindled from 119 to about 50 head.  Naama Rue, who is managing the herd, explained that the herd is in need of rejuvenation.  “The situation was dire one year ago but it is getting better,” she told Israel365 News. “They are being raised in an undisclosed location. We are working to make sure they are being cared for properly and getting the necessary medical attention. When the Ministry of Agriculture gave permission to bring them to Israel, it was for the purpose of maintaining this rare heritage breed for the diversity of livestock.”

“There are only about 20,000 purebred Jacob’s Sheep in the world,” she said.

According to breed aficionados, the sheep originated in the north of Biblical Israel and were sold to Egypt. By way of North Africa and Morocco, the sheep made their way to Spain, and finally to Britain, where they were favored by the landed gentry for their distinctive spotted appearance and four horns.  Though they are indigenous to the Middle East, none of the breed remain in the region.

It is speculated that their unique appearance links them to Biblical Jacob who made a deal with his deceitful uncle Laban (Genesis 30:39). In the story, Jacob demands his wages for working for 14 years, claiming the speckled and black sheep that would be born. He removed all the speckled and black sheep and placed poplar, plane, and almond branches in the troughs of the stronger sheep, with the bark stripped off in stripes. He separated out the striped and speckled sheep as his own.

Called Ovis Aries, the continuation of diverse breeds is necessary for the preservation of the genetic biodiversity of livestock, contributing to global food security. This is, in fact, the only breed in the world to produce spots and speckles in offspring,

Two rams from the herd arrived at Havat Ephraim Bet El’s Pinat Hai (Children’s Zoo) last month.  “There have been so many requests to see the sheep,” Rue said.  “Havat Ephraim Bet El’s Pinat Hai is pleased to welcome two beautiful Jacob Rams into our community. We are happy to provide an opportunity for fans of the heritage livestock to visit the Jacob Sheep,” said Tuvia Victor of the Children’s Zoo.

When Jacob fled from his brother, Esau, he slept in Bet El, dreaming of angels ascending and descending Heaven on a ladder. Beit El is situated along the Path of The Patriarchs, the road by which Jacob returned to the land of his heritage, with his new flock and family.

The Jacob Rams arrived at the Children’s Zoo on 10 Cheshvan 5783, one day before 11 Cheshvan which is the yahrzeit [anniversary of the deaths] of both the Matriarch Rachel (1553 BCE) and of Methuselah (2105 BCE) who was the longest-lived human being of all time. Rachel is the first shepherd mentioned in the Torah.

The Prophet Ezekiel compares the Jews to Sheep when he described them returning to the Land of Israel.  For thus said Hashem: Here am I! I am going to take thought for My flock and I will seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock when some [animals] in his flock have gotten separated, so I will seek out My flock, I will rescue them from all the places to which they were scattered on a day of cloud and gloom. Ezekiel 34:11-12

                                                          Israel’s First Religious Regime:

Israel’s right-wing political takeover by Menachem Begin is often dubbed “The 1977 revolution.” This week, however, we experienced a far more significant revolution—”The 2022 revolution”—in which the religious, for the first time, have come to power. Based on the winners and losers of the election for the 25th Knesset, it seems certain that the new government will have a majority of religiously observant members. Of the four parties set to join forces in the upcoming coalition, three are religious (two are Charedi), including half the total number of seats (32 of 64). If we include several religious Likkud Knesset members, we reach a clear religious majority. Netanyanu, for the first time in his life, will be at the secular extreme of the new government.

Just several years ago, nobody would have entertained the thought. It is truly a revolution.  The prominent agenda of the new government will be Israel’s status as a Jewish State. As election results demonstrate, most of Israel’s Jewish population favors a set of arrangements that defines the “Jewishness” of the State of Israel, including Shabbat, Kashrut, marriage laws, and a distinctly Jewish public sphere.

In Israel, explained Erez Tadmor in his popular book, “you vote right but you get left.”

The incoming government will put a stop to this. For the first time in Israeli political history, the religious have an opportunity to reverse the secular trend led over seventy years by Israel’s traditional elites. Members of the new government do not belong to the secular establishment, nor are they surrendered to it.  They are proudly religious.

The new government will not be a coercive one.  . . . . no individual is about to lose his rights and freedoms. Nobody on the religious right is interested in coercing religious observance, and neither Charedim nor anyone else wants Israel to become Iran. Personal freedoms will not be threatened, but the makeup of curriculum authors, academic commissioners, cultural boards, and committee members for every issue under the sun will diversify and shift over time.

Decision-makers ought to be connected to the people rather than detached from them, and a connection with Israel’s people means a connection to Jewish tradition and Jewish destiny.

Well said, but yet they will still embrace the AC!  Judaism was founded by God and has become a great religion not having brought them any closer to God or His true messiah!!!  TR

Netanyahu and Ben Gvir agree to legalize Jewish towns in the Biblical heartland:

“Every spot on which your foot treads shall be yours; your territory shall extend from the wilderness to the Lebanon and from the River—the Euphrates—to the Western Sea.”  Deuteronomy 11:24 (The Israel Bible)

As part of their coalition negotiations, Likud head Benjamin Netanyahu and Otzma Yehudit head Itamar Ben Gvir agreed on Wednesday to initiate several legal initiatives that would legalize dozens of Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria. The towns included in the agreement are those classified as “young settlements” and were established without government authorization.

The agreement would legalize the Homesh and Evyatar settlements in Samaria that had been demolished by the Israeli government in 2005.  The agreement also called for the building of bypass roads to enhance Israeli communities. The agreement would also lead to broadening an existing law that prevents criminal charges from being brought against someone using force to protect their home. The new law would also apply to anyone defending an IDF army base.

All of these agreements will need to pass a Knesset vote in order to be enacted.

In order to form a coalition, Netanyahu still has to come to terms with Bezalel Smotrich.  Media reports claimed that the negotiations between Smotrich and Netanyahu became heated with Smotrich accusing Netanyahu of forming his government according to the wishes of the Biden administration.

“The Americans will decide who will be appointed minister? It’s not meant to work like that,” Smotrich reportedly told Netanyahu. He called for the US government to “respect Israeli democracy and not get involved in the formation of an elected government.”

Nearby Arab towns threatened violence targeting Jews who attempted to reestablish the communities.  “We don’t care what was agreed, the people of our town will resist the settlers’ presence,” Dr. Hutifa Badir from Beita, a village near Shechem and Evyatar, told the BBC.

Netanyahu and Ben Gvir agree to legalize Jewish towns in the Biblical heartland

B-)

The Israel Air Force this week will hold one of its largest drills in years with the United States Air Force simulating offensive strikes against Iran’s nuclear program.

This is the mission that no one really wants to have to carry out, an actual long-range strike on Iran’s nuclear program and facilities built for them by Russia over the last decade and an half. But at some point, either Israel and perhaps America are going to go after Iran, or Iran is actually going to build a nuclear weapon or weapons with which to fire against Israel. Either way, and according to my King James Bible, it’s going to happen.

“For it was of the LORD to harden their hearts, that they should come against Israel in battle, that he might destroy them utterly, and that they might have no favour, but that he might destroy them, as the LORD commanded Moses.” Joshua 11:20

The stunning recent election of Benjamin Netanyahu back into office for what constitutes his fifth term as prime minister of Israel adds a tantalizing layer of complexity to the overall situation. Bibi is famously a hawk, and has said many times that Israel needs to take out the Iranian nuclear program for Israel’s safety. Looks like he just might have his end times wish come true, but oh, at what cost?

Israel, US to hold air drill simulating striking Iran nuclear program

From The Jerusalem Post:  The drill will take place from Tuesday until Thursday over the Mediterranean Sea and Israel. It will include long-range flights such as those that Israeli pilots might need to make in order to reach the Islamic Republic.

The exercise will include refuelers as well as fighter jets from both forces. Washington and Israel have signed an agreement that would see the US come to assist Israel with missile defense in times of war, and the two militaries have held numerous joint air defense exercises in recent years.

Iran, which possesses over 1,000 short- and medium-range ballistic missiles, continues to smuggle weapons to countries and non-state actors such as Hezbollah, which is estimated to have an arsenal of some 50,000 missiles on Israel’s northern border.

With tensions high over Iran’s nuclear program and regional hostility, Israel and the Islamic Republic have been threatening each other with senior officers stating that their militaries are capable of striking the other.

Israel has significantly increased its readiness level and has taken steps throughout the past year to prepare a credible military option against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The NIS 58 billion defense budget set for the IDF in the coming year is expected to allow the Israeli military to focus on the threats posed by Iran across the region, with some NIS 3.5b. designated specifically for this.

The upcoming drill was discussed by IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Aviv Kohavi during his visit to Washington last week. Kohavi, who returned to Israel a day earlier than planned following a deadly double bombing in Jerusalem, met with senior American officials including Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, and CENTCOM Commander Gen. Michael Kurilla.

United Nations Adopts Resolution Calling Israel’s Founding a ‘Catastrophe’:

The UN General Assembly this week passed a resolution to characterize the founding of the modern state of Israel in 1948 as a “catastrophe,” in what has been heralded as a major victory for pro-Palestinian activists.

The word “Nakba,” which means catastrophe or disaster in Arabic, was also a term coined by the Palestinians to commemorate the Jewish state’s founding.

The UN resolution acknowledges the Palestinian version of the events that led to Israel’s creation, and calls for the “commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Nakba,” with a “high-level event” at the global body on May 15th, 2023. May 15 is the day Palestinians mark the Nakba, which is the day after Israel’s independence was declared in 1948.

Egypt and Jordan have peace treaties with Israel, but that didn’t stop them from co-sponsoring the resolution along with the Palestinians and Senegal, Yemen and Tunisia.  Israel’s new Arab allies from the Abraham Accords, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan, all voted in favor of the anti-Israel resolution.

The U.S. and several European countries, including the UK, Italy, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, and the Netherlands voted against the resolution.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan called it a “shameful resolution.”

                                                                          From Amir Tsarfati’s e-mail newsletter:

Tuesday marked the 75th anniversary of the United Nations’ acceptance of the partition plan of the land that was at that time called Palestine – a name given to it by the Romans after they decimated it in the second century. The plan was for the land to be divided between two groups of people. For the Jews there would be a Jewish state, and for the Arabs there would be an Arab state.

Notice the words that were used. There was no mention of Palestinians because there was no such thing as Palestinians. There were simply Jews and Arabs who lived in Palestine. The idea of a Palestinian came later, creating an artificial grouping of people for the purpose of being a political weapon against a Jewish State.

The Palestinian plan worked, and today this group of people are determined that the land of Israel not be a Jewish state or an Arab state but a Palestinian state. This is not at all in keeping with the UN decision seventy-five years ago. But more importantly, it is not in keeping with the judgment of the San Remo conference of 1920. At this seminal conference, the decision was made to adopt the Balfour declaration that promised the Jews a Jewish homeland in what was then Palestine. The conference also adopted the Balfour declaration’s intended borders which included both Israel and Jordan of today. It was only in 1922 that the British sliced off Transjordan and gave it to the Hashemite family. Later, the League of Nations resolved to adopt the decision of the San Remo conference with the amended borders. Thus, it is still valid today, since the UN, born in October 1945, agreed that all resolutions of its predecessor are effective and valid.

So, despite what you hear, the land of Israel is not stolen. The Israelis are not occupiers or squatters on someone else’s land. We are here legally based on international resolutions. But even more importantly, we are here because this is the land God promised to Abraham and his descendants thousands of years ago. And because God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, His promises still stand true today.

                                                                            A World in Chaos:
As I looked through the news a couple of days ago, it struck me that we are truly a world in chaos. There were riots in Belgium, riots in the Netherlands, riots in Germany, and riots in Kazakhstan. In China, Iran, and Brazil, major protests were taking place as people voiced their anger and disgust at their governments. Then, in northern Syria, the war continues. In northern Iraq, the war continues. And in Ukraine, the war continues. Evil is alive and well in this world. In some places it resides in the government, in others, it is among the people, and in many, it is in both. More than ever before, we as the church must fulfill our calling to not only pray for the soon return of our Messiah, but also to reach out to those around us with the truth of the Word of God so that they can begin to find peace in the midst of all this chaos.

The world is demanding a divided Jerusalem in order for the Abraham Accords to succeed, will it happen? Yep, that’s the deal Israel actually made.

Two interesting stories, seemingly unconnected, emerged over the weekend to put Jerusalem right into the crosshairs of the prophet Joel. First, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Sunday said Jerusalem must be a city for Israelis and Palestinians, and anything else will harm Israel’s identity and security. The second was the historic trip by Israeli President Isaac Herzog’s in official state visit to Bahrain. What did they talk about? Only that the Abraham Accords need a divided Israel in order to succeed. Anyone else seeing a theme here, or is it just me?

Is it possible the United States is at war with Russia right now? It’s not only possible, it is probable and highly likely. In case you haven’t noticed, the world is on fire here on Day 994 of 15 Days To Flatten the Curve, and we will do our best to bring to your attention the news you need to know as a Bible believer living in the last days for the start of Jacob’s trouble.

A rare silver “half-shekel” coin from the time of the Great Jewish Revolt against the Romans (66-70 CE) was uncovered in Jerusalem in the Ophel excavation south of the Temple Mount, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem announced Tuesday.

“This is the third coin of this type found in excavations in Jerusalem, and one of the few ever found in archaeological excavations anywhere,” said Prof. Uzi Leibner, who led the excavation conducted in partnership between the Hebrew University and the Armstrong College last summer.

According to the Bible, every Jewish man was required to pay a half shekel every year as a tribute to the Holy Temple.

“This is what everyone who is entered in the records shall pay: a half-shekel by the sanctuary weight—twenty giera to the shekel —a half-shekel as an offering to Hashem,” reads the 30th chapter of the book of Shemot (Exodus). “Everyone who is entered in the records, from the age of twenty years up, shall give Hashem’s offering: the rich shall not pay more and the poor shall not pay less than half a shekel when giving Hashem’s offering as expiation for your persons.”

The artifact was found in the remains of what appears to be a monumental public building, surrounded by mikvaot (ritual baths). The structure was destroyed when the Romans eventually conquered Jerusalem and destroyed the Temple in 70 CE.

The coin features a goblet similar to those used in temple service together with the words “half-shekel” in ancient Hebrew script on one side, and a branch with three pomegranates and the inscription “Holy Jerusalem” on the other side.

Rare 2,000-year-old ‘Temple tax’ silver coin found near Temple Mount

UPDATED 20 December 2022: Within hours Israel’s new government will be announced and Eschatology Today believes this will be an Israel that very few living today have ever seen before. Only those aged 75 or older might remember the religious fervor that accompanied Israel’s founding. Now with several Religious Judaism parties holding sway within the Likud government of PM Bibi Netanyahu tremendous events stand before us, all of them noted in key prophetic verses of Old and New Testament Scripture.

One item that will manifest early on is the removal of the sign imaged above which forbids Jews from enter the Temple Mount. This is something that Itamar Ben-Gvir, Israel’s new National Security Minister will in all certainty will play a key role in. A new law, known until now as the “Ben-Gvir Law,” will establish his position and add to his official portfolio a police ordinance whereby he alone will set and control what the Israeli police can and cannot do.

As you may recall the Israeli police enforce the prohibition against Jews ascending to the Mount as well as Jews engaging in prayer on the Mount. NSM Ben Gvir is going to change that and he will soon ascend the Mount, as he’s promised to do many times, and he will most likely pray once he’s there. Ben-Gvir will be instrumental in opening up Temple Mount to all Jewish worshipers. ;-)

Most everyone can see where this is leading. Muslims will riot, and the Temple Mount will become the focus of the next crisis in the Arab-Israeli conflict. The battle for the Temple Mount will be joined and the history of the past 56 years will become footnotes in any books written about the current era.

Update 23 December 2022: In concluding this SITREP, we’ll build off and move forward from my comment posted at 2:31 PM yesterday regarding the new Israeli law. This new law is to be enacted prior to the passage of the 2023 budget of the new government of the State of Israel. This new law mandates the death penalty for those who commit acts of terrorism that are intent on harming the State of Israel and its Jewish people. As most of us can now clearly see with the new government in Israel the proverbial gloves have come off.

More new laws are coming. One of them, a religious liberty law, will exempt religious Jews and business owners from exercising their Torah beliefs in refusing to provide services that are against those beliefs. This means that currently existent “anti-discrimination” laws that punish religious Jews for refusing to honor the desires of the LGBTQ community, and others, which are in direct conflict with the Hebrew Scriptures.

And finally the greatest of the new actions, and the one with very profound prophetic implications, is the inclusion in the Coalition agreement between Likud and the Religious parties is the “Sovereignty Plan.” The Sovereignty Plan will bring full Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria. This plan was first proposed by PM Bibi Netanyahu in September 2019. It implementation will fulfill the Zionist vision of “Israeli sovereignty over the birthplace of the Jewish people, Judea and Samaria.” The election of the Likud/Religious Zionist coalition is seen as a mandate approved by the majority of Israel’s voters, who have clearly made known their desire for full Israel sovereignty over the whole of Biblical Israel and no to a “Palestinian” state on the territory of Eretz Israel.

There no doubt that the sovereignty plan will be vehemently opposed, domestically and from abroad. It is very likely, in conjunction with what will occur on the Temple Mount, to be a catalyst for tremendous violence and a wholesale re-shaping of the map of the Eastern Mediterranean, to include Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and even the Sinai. This will bring about the so-called “one-state solution.” All of this is one-hundred percent prophetic. In particular we’ll cite Isaiah 11:12-14, and which goes hand-in-hand with Ezekiel 28:24-26, Joshua 13:1-7 and the Psalm 83 prophecy. This we have been discussing over the past 13 years (2009-2022) on Eschatology Today and are all very familiar with the subject matter.

The difference now is that we can see it coming to fulfillment through the newly elected government of Israel. The Church Age is quickly coming to a close and God’s attention is moving toward Israel. The Harpazo of the Bride of Christ is more imminent than ever before, so now is the time to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who  will receive it for their names have been written into the Book of Life even before the foundation of the world.

Digging in my note archives, the foundation stone – according to the majority of Orthodox rabbis – is under the Dome of the Rock, i.e. the “rock” is the foudation stone where the Ark of the Covenant was located with the Holy of Holies.

I know we’re under constant vicious attack these days, but to no avail because we comfort each other with the knowledge of our soon harpazo and the signs before us and, most importantly, the Restrainer within us.

Yes, people still believe that theory but I think the dome will be destroyed either in the psalm 83 war or the Ezekiel 38&39 battle.

Before I tell you about this unbelievable development, please keep in mind that where Bible prophecy is concerned, Israel has always been and will always be the driver. Where is the Battle of Armageddon fought? In Jerusalem. The 7-year tribulation period is called the time of Jacob’s trouble, right? The 144,000 witnesses are all Jews from the 12 tribes of Israel, and so on and so forth. With that in mind, today on the Podcast I want to tell you how Israel used the pandemic to create a nationwide genome biometric database, and gave all the information to Pfizer. Now the plan is to have every nation on earth build these databases and give them to Big Pharma.

How do I know this? Benjamin Netanyahu just said it, and we’ll play it for you today.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:” Revelation 13:16

On this episode of the NTEB Prophecy News Podcast, Netanyahu just said that ‘Israel became the lab for Pfizer’ meaning the biometric information gathered from 98+% of the citizenry was given over to Pfizer to conduct experiments with. Who was the first nation to achieve a full vaccination status? Israel. Who was the first nation to roll out and require its citizens use a ‘green health passport’? Israel. So the fact that Israel used the COVID-19 pandemic to create a biometric database on its entire population, and then colluded with Pfizer is huge news if the word Pharmakeiameans anything to you. Today on the Prophecy News Podcast, we will look at all this and much more.

More than 25 prominent rabbis from Israel and abroad issued a statement calling for a renewed look at Jesus, Christians and the New Testament faith.

Quoting from their own sages, these outstanding Orthodox rabbis are not ashamed to exalt the name of Jesus, welcoming the carpenter from Nazareth back into the Jewish fold.

“Jesus brought a double goodness to the world,” declared the group of well-known rabbis.  “On the one hand he strengthened the Torah of Moses majestically…  and not one of our Sages spoke out more emphatically concerning the immutability of the Torah.” At the same time “he removed idols from the nations.”

These leading rabbis are turning the tides of history by removing one of the main stumbling blocks in the path of a major Jewish reclamation of Jesus!

You will recall that religious Jews rejected Jesus from the beginning, with the accusation that he did not obey the Torah, therefore he could not be the awaited Messiah.  What we are now witnessing is the undoing of 2,000 years of Jewish rejection and animosity towards Jesus, a miracle by any estimation.

This call by these distinguished rabbis to embrace Christians as “brothers and sisters” is no less a miracle.
For Jews to accept Christians with such endearment, after so much misunderstanding and antisemitic ugliness, can only be understood as a divine work of heavenly grace, the likes of which I find unfathomable.

Yeshua may be Messiah, Son of the Living God for the Gentiles, but my Jewish people are still not quite sure just who he is for them.  So while these rabbis are making major and unprecedented strides in bringing my people closer to the Messiah Yeshua, they are still far from the truth.

Perhaps Jesus is not quite at home in the typical Jewish family, but he is certainly knocking on the door.

Rabbis Bring Jesus Home for Christmas

It was the most olim in 23 years and a dramatic increase from 2021, when about 28,600 immigrants arrived in the country.

Jewish Agency data for the period between Jan. 1 and Dec. 1, 2022, shows that 37,364 olim arrived from Russia; 14,680 from Ukraine; 3,500 from North America, with assistance from Nefesh B’Nefesh; 2,049 from France; 1,993 from Belarus; 1,498 from Ethiopia as part of Operation Tzur Israel; 985 from Argentina; 526 from Great Britain; 426 from South Africa; and 356 from Brazil. Final totals for 2022 will be available after the year concludes.

Approximately 27% (about 19,000) of this year’s olim are young people between the ages of 18 and 35, who will boost Israeli society and the economy, including professionals in fields where there is a labor shortage in Israel such as medicine, engineering and education. Around 24% (16,500) of the olim are ages 0-17; 22% are between 36 and 50 years old; 14% are aged 51-64; and 13% are 65 and over.

The Jewish Agency will also open a first-of-its-kind center for lone soldiers (those without family members living in Israel who can help them) in Tel Aviv as part of the Wings program.

The Jerusalem Magistrate Court ruled that a Jewish man who sought to bring jelly donuts onto the Temple Mount should not be barred from the site, the holiest in Judaism.

In a ruling published before the start of Shabbat, Judge Zion Saharan state that an argument with the police does not justify arrest on the grounds of danger, as claimed by the police, who even sought to keep Nisani away from the Temple Mount for 15 days.

During the hearing, the police representative, Sergeant Major Anan Zaida, claimed that “the respondent (Nisani) arrived at the Temple Mount with doughnuts.  There is a rule that prohibits bringing donuts into the Temple Mount in order to prevent provocations … the respondent arrived and took pictures and continued to insist, disturbing the policemen.”  At this point Judge Saharan asked where the rule forbidding the introduction of donuts was found and published, but Sergeant Major Zaida replied that he did not know where the rule was nor who set it.

“The other events of Hezekiah’s reign, and all his exploits, and how he made the pool and the conduit and brought the water into the city, are recorded in the Annals of the Kings of Yehuda.”  II Kings 20:20 (The Israel Bible)

The ancient pool of Siloam, first mentioned in the biblical book of Kings II, will be fully excavated and opened to the public, the Israel Antiquities Authority announced Tuesday.

“The Pool of Siloam in the City of David National Park in Jerusalem is a site of historic, national and international significance,” said Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion. “After many years of anticipation, we will soon merit being able to uncover this important site and make it accessible to the millions of visitors visiting Jerusalem each year.”

During the Second Temple period, millions of pilgrims coming from outside of Jerusalem probably used the pool as a ritual bath (mikveh) before ascending to the Temple Mount, through what archaeologists have dubbed as the “Pilgrimage Road,” the city’s main street that led directly to the sanctuary.

According to the Bible, the structure was first built under King Hezekiah, some 2,700 years ago.

The structure is located just outside the walls of Jerusalem’s Old City to the southeast.

The pool is also mentioned in the Gospel of John as the site where Jesus heals a blind man.

Visitors will now be able to observe the excavations and eventually visit the pool as part of a route starting at the southernmost point of the City of David and ending at the footsteps of the Western Wall. The same route that Jewish pilgrims walked 2,000 years ago.

Biblical Siloam Pool next to Temple Mount to be fully excavated

Praise Him with timbrel and dance; praise Him with lute and pipe.  Psalms 150:4 (the Israel Bible)

Ariel Louis, a multi-talented artist driven by his passion to create and to serve God, is making Baroque flutes which his late father believed would be the missing element required for the music of the Third Temple.

“Making Baroque flutes is a lost art,” Ariel explained. “It is deceptively simple with only six holes  but it can produce the entire chromatic scale in three octets which is insane for a primitive instrument.”

Seven years ago, Ariel traveled to Duseldorf, Germany to study with Fridtjof Aurin, one of the very few craftsmen alive today making Baroque flutes.

“The flutes have to be accurate to a perfect level to produce the right sound. The inner channel is not uniform like a tube, but in the shape of a cone – every tenth of a millimeter the thickness changes. I had to study the plans to understand it, because you have to reach amazing accuracy. For example, there is a hole that should be 85.85 millimeters in diameter. I use cobalt drills that are accurate up to a thousandth of a millimeter.”

Ariel uses rare woods aged at least 80 years and hand tools which he claims produces a sound that cannot be duplicated on flutes made with power tools.

“The sound of my flutes made from this wood is intense, trenchant, powerful, and rich,” he said. “They are surprisingly responsive to delicate nuances of style and embouchure.”

Ariel noted that so many aspects of bringing the Third Temple require reviving lost arts, such as the crimson and techelet dyes, the special breads, and even the music, recreating sounds that haven’t been heard for 2,000 years.

“I also see myself in some way as the one responsible for returning something that was taken from Judaism,” Ariel said.

Creating handmade wooden flutes for the Third Temple

“This is a very important goal, because if we have peace with Saudi Arabia, we are effectively going to bring an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict,” says Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu.

Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu is aiming to secure a peace deal with Saudi Arabia, which would see the Gulf kingdom formally normalize relations with Israel, in exchange for sidelining an annexation plan for Judea and Samaria, according to a new report.

The Hebrew language outlet said that U.S.-brokered talks to secure a peace agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia are currently underway in Germany, and Netanyahu has expressed willingness to suspend annexation as a condition for signing a deal with Riyadh.

“We have things in place. The Saudi government’s decision to open up Saudi airspace to Israel occurred before the Abraham Accords, that gives you a pretty good clue that they didn’t look askance at the Abraham Accords,” Netanyahu told Jewish Insider on Thursday.

“Now I hope to bring about a full, formal peace as we’ve done with the other Gulf states like Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates,” he added. “It’s up to the Saudi leadership to decide that. I hope they will. And I intend to explore that alongside my other main goals. This is a very important goal, because if we have peace with Saudi Arabia, we are effectively going to bring an end to the Arab-Israeli conflict.”

It’s unclear how the Religious Zionism party, which campaigned heavily on a pro-settlement and pro-annexation platform, would react should Netanyahu break his promises to them in favor of peace with Saudi Arabia.

Ancient esoteric Jewish sources may have predicted that the recently announced plans to excavate the Siloam Pool in Jerusalem have a major role to play in the Final Redemption.

Rabbi Anava went on to cite Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch (1789-1866), known as the Tzemach Tzedek who was the third leader of the Chabad branch of Hassidut. In his book, Sefer Halikkutim, the Tzemach Tzedek wrote that Adam made teshuva (repentance) while submerged up to his neck in the waters of the Gihon. The Tzemach Tzedek explained that the Gihon was one of the four rivers that flowed out of Eden (Gen. 2:13).

He commented another name for a snake (nachash) is gahon which literally means ‘stomach’. This is because a snake crawls on its belly. But the word gihon has an additional letter yud which is the first letter of God’s name. The snake draws holiness from the waters of the Gihon. The snake coming from holiness (i.e. the Gihon River) represents the tikkun (fixing) of the sin of Adam and Even that caused Man to be ejected from Eden. For this reason, the gematria (numerical value) of nachash (snake) is 358, equal to the gematria of Moshiach (Messiah).

“The root of Moshiach comes from the snake of the holy realm,” Rabbi Anava explained. “It is the same level of the copper snake,” he wrote, referring to the totem called the Nechushtan that was used to heal the Jews in the desert (Numbers 21:8). “This was a holy entity that had the power to heal and cure the people.”

“Therefore, we can conclude that Messiah is coming from the source of the Gihon,” Rabbi Anava wrote. “If it is widened, then this initiates the redemption.”

Rabbi Anava then noted that King Solomon was anointed by the waters of Gihon, hinting that revealing the Gihon would be necessary to anoint the Messiah king from the Davidic dynasty.

Our government will not surrender to the threats of Hamas. The Temple Mount is the most important place for the people of Israel, and we maintain the freedom of movement for Muslims and Christians, but Jews will also visit the site. Those who make threats must be dealt with with an iron hand.

Ben-Gvir’s wife also ascended to the mount a short time ago.

The Lord’s work will be my daily routine 24/7/365 from then on. It’ll get busier here. :)

Jenin, Shechem especially.

The fact that we allowed this visit shows that this government is not afraid of the Hamas terrorist organization. We believe in our sovereignty in Jerusalem and we will ensure that every Jew who wants to come and practice his religion in Jerusalem on the Temple Mount, will be able to do so.
