No clue at all what this is about. At 1700 hours (3 hours from this writing). Does anyone have a collateral story that offers more details?

      From Debka:

“Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is to deliver a statement to the media on Tuesday afternoon at 1700 hours. Sources in his Likud party say the statement will be “dramatic” but offered no hint to its content”.

Netanyahu will deliver a major statement at 1700 hours

It sounds like the elections will be postponed.  Bibi knows the Israelis citizens are fed up with the on-going attacks coming from the Gaza region and he probably needs their votes.  Praying this war is quick with no casualties for the IDF and that the elections can still be rescheduled in Sept. (the same week would be great … if not, perhaps a week later?)

It was delivered to pledge annexation of Judea and Samaria (starting with the Jordan Valley) if he is re-elected PM. He also said that the Trump peace plan will be released the next day after the election. Netanyahu wouldn’t make such a pledge if he didn’t have buy in from the surrounding Arab nations. Perhaps it’s a part of the peace plan?

Also, interesting to note, that John Bolton was fired on the same day along with Jason Greenblatt resigning last week.

God is moving his chess pieces…..

Wow very interesting.  Glad the election is still on schedule!

I was surprised by the John Bolton firing.  According to NBC news … here are some of the disagreements they had …

        NBC News    9/10/19
By Shannon Pettypiece and Adam Edelman

Most recently, the two had clashed over Trump’s desire to have leaders of the Taliban visit Camp David in the days before the Sept. 11 anniversary to finalize peace talks. The idea was strongly opposed by Bolton, even as officials at the State Department argued it could move the parties closer to an agreement, officials said.

Bolton had pushed Trump to take a harder line on other regimes he has deemed untrustworthy. Trump, on the other hand, campaigned on the promise to get the U.S. out of conflicts. Bolton had also clashed with other top administration officials, including Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

While Bolton has previously pushed for striking Iran and regime change, Trump has indicated he would like to sit down with Iranian officials, and that regime change is off the table.

Bolton seems more radical than Trump.

A possible announcement could be to declare war?

Time will tell.  But many pieces on the political chess board are being moved rather quickly!

Seems like Israel will be doing a major air and ground offensive soon. The question now is will it be before or after the elections ?

I don’t mean to sound disrespectful or that’s it’s not a big deal but was an announcement on annexation worthy of that big of a hullabaloo?

Well the fact that he made the declaration and there doesn’t appear to be a complete outrage from the Arab/Muslim world is the most interesting thing about this. Plus, the fact that he made this declaration along with (what appears to be) an official announcement for the date to release the Peace Plan makes my antennas stand up.

So this announcement, taken by itself, may not seem like a big deal but couple it with the release of the peace plan, the recognition of sovereignty of Israel over Golan, the embassy move to Jerusalem, it just adds another piece to help see the clearer picture.

        Good point! :good:

And on top of what you said …. I found an interesting article that I posted in the “Israel Judges and Prime Minister” thread … about Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut (Identity) party dropping out of the race. Instead Moshe Feiglin is promised a high ranking position in Bibi government, if Bibi wins.  And … Moshe Feiglin said back on April 3rd “I don’t want to build a (Third) Temple in one or two years, I want to build it now.”

Soooo it looks like the church age is about up! :yahoo:

So has anyone else noticed the new player in the game and how he mysteriously appeared after Greenblatt resigned, strangling.

Posted today regarding Avi Berkowitz – 30 year old (interesting in itself is his age).

I find this very strange. I’ve thought about so many of Trump’s family being involved in the White House. I like family being involved but this is a bit much. And now we see it extending to friends and I’m sure there’s a lot more of that that we don’t see. The speculation of Trump being the AC is because of the peace deal but technically, it’s Jared’s deal. I think it put’s him in the running :mail:   maybe his friend too – maybe that’s why God had Greenblatt removed

While Kushner drafts it up, if he never has a hand with enforcing it, I would think the “enforcer” would be the AC. I don’t see Kushner every having real political power. It’s still interesting his Jewish roots though!

No fear, I find it even stranger that a real estate dealer (no offense meant to the profession), Kushner, has a long time buddy that he met at a “pick up basketball game” in Queens, made him a subordinate (Avi he worked for Kushner’s in his Daddy’s real estate business); and Berkowitz did live in Israel for a bit, attended all the right Jewish trainings growing up, making him an Orthodox Jew and a graduate of Harvard Law. He is very “inexperienced” in the field of law, also worked with Kushner as a free lance reporter for a bit. He (Avi) seems to be in all the right places at the right time….. most of the peace plan was developed by Greenblatt and I also find it hard to believe that a Journalist (Kushner) turned real estate agent for Daddy, who married well (Trump), has such a significant role in the current political arena surrounding Israel.

With Bibi’s Announcement to annex Jordan, God has certainly put very interesting folks, or allowed very interesting characters to now take center stage. My guess, opinion only, is that this is the beginning of the end for Israel— they will accept one of their own hands down! Avi is known for his Zionist push and I bet my bottom dollar that will include the Temple rebuilt.

It really won’t matter if Bibi wins on Tuesday or not, God has orchestrated a master piece (who would have thought to bring in a no body or so it seems). We may or may not see the follow up to this very interesting saga (my prayer is not), but it is sure fun to watch God work and place those in authority as He chooses. Yep! The end is right around the next chess play, check! And God will have the final checkmate! :yahoo: :popcorn :prayer-hands:

who ever “it” is, he will be coming in his own name, and people who are in position of authority are going to think that is good enough

      John 5:43
I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, you will receive him.
