I have a sermon on CD called “Israel’s Judges & Prime Ministers” I’ve had it for years now and just recently listened to it again. I don’t know exactly when it was first preached but I want to say that it was probably before 2010

To sum it up the preacher makes comparisons of ancient Israel’s Judges with modern day Prime Ministers of Israel. He says that the next different person to be the Prime Minister of Israel will be the 13th different person to be one of Israel’s modern day Prime ministers. He says that Samuel was the 13th and last Judge of ancient Israel before Saul a type of AC took over just before King David a type of Jesus took over after Saul

I found this article that sums this up better than I can.

      https://theisraelconnection.blogspot.com/2008/09/ancient-vs-modern-day-israel.html.

Benjamin Netanyahu is actually the 9th different Prime Minister of modern day Israel but there have been 3 different and new ones after him from 1999 – 2009

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prime_ministers_of_Israel

So the point I’m trying to make is that if Netanyahu loses in next months Israeli elections and Israel gets a new Prime minister that has never been Prime Minister of Israel before then we are one huge step closer to the Rapture but if Netanyahu wins then we may have to wait another 4 years for the 13th different Prime Minister of modern day Israel to be elected that eventually hands Israel over to The AC.

Interesting, thanks for sharing.  While here, we seem to be a captive audience watching and waiting.  Just wondering then, who could ever replace Bibi?!

Perhaps the 13th P.M. needs to be seated in order for the Tribulation period to begin!  Perhaps Bibi and Trump both will be raptured?!

Or it will be the next/last P.M. that embraces the A.C.   !!!!!

I was looking up these Israeli elections for next month and it’s the first time ever they’ve had a re-election.

      https://katehon.com/article/first-time-history-re-election-israel

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/September_2019_Israeli_legislative_election

So it makes me wonder what it means.

Did God cause it to postpone the Trump/Kushner peace plan for a little while longer ?

I don’t believe the Trump/Kushner peace plan is the covenant with many from Daniel 9:27

But it could be something that kindles God’s anger and causes Him to get us out of here so He can pour out His wrath on this world.

Anybody else have any thoughts on why this re-election thing is happening ?

      Thanks !

      According to The Christian Post

      Michael Brown

In Israel, you vote for parties, not for people.  Benjamin Netanyahu being the head of Likud. But when you vote, you do not vote for the person but for his (or her) party.

If you want to see Netanyahu elected, then you vote Likud, but even then, you cannot vote him in. All you can do is get his party the most possible votes in order to form a ruling coalition.

In order to govern, you must form a coalition with at least 61 Knesset seats.

There are 120 seats in the Israeli parliament, called the Knesset, and so, a majority of 61 seats is needed to have a majority.

The  two leading parties, Bibi’s Likud vs. Blue and White (a newer party), was very close. But the total votes for right-leaning parties clearly outnumbered the total for left-leaning parties, meaning that Netanyahu has the only real path to form a coalition.

On April 10th both the Likud party and the Blue and White party getting the same number of seats (35), the next two parties were both ultra-Orthodox, namely, Shas and UTJ (United Torah Judaism; they won a total of 16 seats, divided evenly). Without them, Netanyahu hasn’t the slightest chance of forming a majority government.

In answer to your question “did God cause it to postpone the Trump/Kushner peace plan for a little while longer?”

I vote yes because the peace deal unveiling was suppose to occur after the April elections and I’m leaning towards the rapture could be connected with the “as they are saying peace and safety sudden destruction” unfolds on the earth.

Should be interesting if the Sept results end up at a standstill as well … or will the winning party form a coalition with the ultra-Orthodox to have enough Knesset seats?  The way I look at it … either party will probably embrace the peace deal … I base this on observing the Israeli people …. they all seem to be really longing for that 3rd temple to get built.

I’m curious as to why you feel Trump/Kushner peace plan is not the covenant with many from Daniel 9:27?

Trump said “The Money I cut off to PA will help move Peace Plan”

US President Donald Trump has announced at the G7 summit in Biarritz that he might reveal his Mideast peace plan before the September 17th Israeli parliamentary elections.

According to him, “We’re going to know who the Israeli prime minister is going to be fairly soon. A deal won’t be before the election, I don’t think… But I think you may see what the deal is before the election. And I think the deal will happen… Everybody says, that’s the deal that can’t be made… Israel and the Palestinians: there’s tremendous hatred for many, many decades, and everybody says that is a deal that can’t be made. So we’ll see if we can make it.”

The US President also expressed why he thinks the Palestinians will accept the deal.

“I think they want to make a deal, the Palestinians, and I think Israel would like to make a deal too. I think people, after so many years and decades, I think they’re a little tired of fighting. I cut off most funding to the Palestinians, a lot of funding. And I think they’d like to get it back,” Trump said.

As of now, only the economic aspect of the plan has been revealed by Special Advisor Jared Kushner. The economic part of the peace plan essentially consists of $50 billion to go towards the real needs of the Palestinian people.

The plan seeks to double the gross domestic product (GDP) of Palestinians, create approximately one million jobs for Palestinians, reduce unemployment in the West Bank and Gaza from 30 percent to single digits, and halve the percentage of poverty among the Palestinian population.

The Trump Administration wants to raise a good chunk of these funds from Jordan, Egypt, and Lebanon as part of its plan. According to the White House report, $15 billion of the total $50 billion investment will come from grants, $25 billion in the form of subsidized loans and approximately $11 billion from private capital.

The money contributed by the US and these donor countries will finance 179 economic projects in areas such as infrastructure, water, energy, telecommunications, tourism, and medical services. Of that total, 147 of the projects will be for the West Bank and Gaza, 15 for Jordan, 12 in Egypt and five in Lebanon.

The proposal includes tens of millions of dollars that will be allocated to connect Gaza and the Sinai Peninsula for infrastructure – such as upgrading high-voltage lines and increasing electricity supply – and trade. The plan includes the construction of a five billion dollar pathway such a road or possibly a railroad between the West Bank and Gaza. It also seeks to inject 950 million dollars in the tourism industry for the Palestinians.

Yeah, if Trump enforces some kind of peace treaty he’s almost definitely the AC, ironic since mainly evangelicals voted for him, but I suppose the scripture about the elect being deceived must come to pass somehow.</p>

Not necessarily … whoever confirms the peace treaty is the AC.   I look at it this way … we need something on the table for the AC to later confirm.

Well … we didn’t have much choice when voting …  Trump or Hillary.  Still glad Trump won.  He at least is speeding up Bible prophecy!   B-)

I’ll take the providence of God over the politics of men any day!  Because Trump speaks and maneuvers political climates as he does, not cow towing to any enemy, they respect him and listen when he speaks.

A fresh political approach for any nation, let alone the U.S.

Again, given the rabbinical understanding of “many”, this could indeed be the start of that!  Once in place it might sit for a while till the dust settles, but later on it will be “ratified” and implemented.

        In agreement :good:

I was searching to see what others are saying and here are  Savedat33 thoughts that she posted on her forum board:

“So very very exciting. Half way through the article there is a quote from Pres. Trump who says: “A deal won’t be before the election … but I think you may see what’s in the deal before the election.”  Now.. that sounds like the peace plan is put out for people to see and then after Ezekiel 38, a leader emerges and goes to the table and confirms the deal/covenant.  Then they will say: “Peace and Security” and sudden destruction (because the 70th week will have officially started) will be instantly upon them.

Of course this is all assuming the plan is released before the elections (in Trump’s bid to help himself get re-elected since the economy is tanking).

However, if we can see how it will all play out and it doesn’t require massive stretches of the imagination, we are incredibly close!”

        – Fair Use-

        ———-

US President Donald Trump said Monday that his administration might release its Middle East peace plan before Israel’s elections in September, reversing earlier statements that it would wait until after the election re-do to unveil the long-delayed proposal.

Trump told reporters at a joint appearance with Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi on the sidelines of the annual G7 summit in Paris that both Israelis and Palestinians were interested in reaching a peace deal. Trump said: “I think they want to make a deal, the Palestinians, and I think Israel would like to make a deal too. I think people, after so many years and decades, I think they’re a little tired of fighting.” He also said “I cut off most funding to the Palestinians, a lot of funding. And I think they’d like to get it back.”

We’re going to know who the [Israeli] prime minister is going to be fairly soon,” he said. “[A deal] won’t be before the election, I don’t think… But I think you may see what the deal is before the election. And I think the deal will happen… Everybody says, that’s the deal that can’t be made… Israel and the Palestinians: there’s tremendous hatred for many, many decades, and everybody says that is a deal that can’t be made. So we’ll see if we can make it.”

His administration’s Mideast peace plan was supposed to roll out over the summer, but unveiling of the US plan was delayed after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu failed to cobble together a coalition following the April elections and called a fresh vote, now scheduled for September 17. That delay was a “complicating factor,” said Trump.

The US has so far kept the political elements of its plan under wraps, while the economic aspects of it were presented in June by Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner at an American-led conference in Bahrain. The economic side of the plan would see a $50 billion investment package for the Palestinians and the wider region.

@ Geri7 I’m not 100 % sure that the Trump/Kushner peace plan is the official “covenant with many” from Daniel 9:27

Because when I think of the Rapture I think of over a billion people (mostly children) disappearing and leaving only their clothes and blood behind followed by the worse hysteria the world has seen since the flood. Hundreds of millions of mothers around the whole world are going to lose their minds like they did in Egypt after the 10th plague hit. Planes crashing, cars crashing, wars starting, nukes going off, UFO’s with fallen Angels showing up and making their presence known.

Anyway the point I’m trying to make is that after the Rapture and it’s immediate impact on planet earth the Trump/ Kushner peace plan could get thrown out the window and a totally new plan will have to be written up.

I keep thinking that this Trump/Kushner peace plan is all about dividing God’s land and making money off of dividing it and their trying to bring peace, safety, and stability to the region without involving Jesus at all which in turn could make God say enough is enough and Rapture us home so His indignation can be accomplished.

And thanks for taking the time and energy sharing your thoughts on this thread : )

Oh ok that makes sense .. total chaos …kind of like it was on 9/11 … it certainly put NYC at a standstill for a couple of weeks …  even had people attending church that normally didn’t and were asking “why did this happen?”  My old church/high school in NJ  quickly printed up special Bible tracts with the World Trade Center towers printed on the front cover and sent a bus full of students/teachers and those in the church that could take off from work and spent the time on the sidewalks 3 days in a row handing  out Bible tracts and answering questions.  It was a great ministry and they saw many come to Christ.  So I can picture the rapture event with all the grieving on a much grander scale.

I was glad to do the research and to find the Michael Brown article since he took the time to explain the whole process in layman’s terms.  Before I was like this  with how the Israeli elections worked.  Now I understand it better. B-)

Wow … here is some insightful info on the upcoming Israeli elections.  Looks like even if Bibi wins the popular vote … Gantz will be able to put together a coalition and it wont be good.  Here is the scoop …

Per Athenasius on another forum board – in layman’s terms … her opinion on how it all could unfold prophetically … :popcorn

“I’m seeing something else happening in Israel that I think is rather ominous for them and it’s to do with the current elections. On the eve of a war!

There is an article on Gantz and the Blue and White party finally managing to possibly beat Netanyahu. (See below)

It’s a bit alarming. Gantz has figured out a way to put together a coalition after the election. If he can hold onto the seats he has, and other factions hold as well, — he could finally beat Netanyahu in spite of Bibi winning the elections like he did last time. Because in Israel it isn’t who wins the popular vote, it’s who can cobble together a workable coalition of otherwise warring factions. By giving something to everybody to sweeten the deal. It’s why Netanyahu is unable to demand the religious yeshiva students do their army service like every other young Israeli. Their faction has a deal with Netanyahu to allow them to opt out.

Different factions get together in a coalition.

Gantz has had his eye on the job for a while, and saw a chance last election. Because Netanyahu was unable to form a coalition –we are in Israeli election season once again.

      But this time is different

What is really  raising my eyebrows is the man called Odeh! He is an Arab Palestinian Muslim leader of a party called the Joint List.

His Joint List is made up of other Arab Muslims  who are citizens of Israel, and Members of the Knesset. They have usually not done much other than squabble and disagree with everyone else.

But this time they are working together, to cooperate with Gantz. To give him the needed coalition! The Arab MKs have never done that ever ever ever! And they are predicted by polls (thankfully polls are often wrong nowadays) to gain 10-12 seats. Which Odeh would throw their numbers into Gantz’s coalition.

Gantz is a socialist from what I can gather and I suspect a globalist as well.

But an even bigger point to focus on is that his cell phone has been hacked into not once but twice!

First by Iran and then Russia.

Yup. It’s been in the recent news headlines over there. And it looks like it’s factual. Russia is denying it, and casting doubt thru their news channels so that one is becoming obscured by Russian efforts. But it fits their pattern.

      Russia and Iran.

Let that sink in a moment and pause to reflect that he had possible sensitive personal data in there that could be use to blackmail him in future. And a few things the government would prefer not to fall into enemy hands sure, because Hilary isn’t the only bimbo in the world who puts sensitive stuff on her personal phone, but lets just look closely a moment at the possibility of this man now being blackmailed by Russia or Iran or both.

And then consider what he would then “oweto the Palestinian Arab Muslim Members of the Knesset from Odeh’s Joint List party!!!

Not a pretty picture at all.

Here’s a future leader of Israel on the eve of war with Iran essentially thru all it’s proxies, who owes the Palestinian MKs, and who is sworn to protect Israel’s vital financial windfall of the oil fields that Russia wants and he could be elected the leader of Israel. Then he could be manipulated to perfection by Russia or Iran or both in tandem.

Doesn’t that just make your hair stand on end?

Noooooooooooo I am screeching Nooooooooooo  this is a train wreck.  Wake up and smell the coffee Israel! This guy has been compromised 3 times over that I can see. What else is going to show up about him?

But if this man gets in it strikes me that it will definitely grease the skids towards the eventual Ez 38 war and then some.

Blue and White sources: Gantz will have blocking majority against PM Gantz’s associates said he would welcome Liberman being part of a blocking majority but would not comment on the possibility of Odeh being part of it.

      JerusalemPost.com
      By Gil Hoffman
      August 30, 2019

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz will have enough support in the September 17 election to obtain a “blocking majority” needed to prevent Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from forming the next government, high ranking sources in Blue and White said this week. The sources revealed that Gantz’s goal is to obtain a 61 MK blocking majority of parties that do not want Netanyahu to build the next coalition. The sources said that for a blocking majority, unlike a coalition, Gantz believes even sworn enemies like Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman and Joint List head Ayman Odeh could cooperate, because they both detest Netanyahu.

Gantz’s associates said he would welcome Liberman being part of a blocking majority, but would not comment on the possibility of Odeh being part of it. However, Odeh himself in interviews last weekend called for a blocking majority that his party would join. Recent polls have predicted 29 to 31 seats for Blue and White, 10 to 12 for the Joint List, nine to 10 for Yisrael Beytenu, seven to eight for the Democratic Union, and four to six for Labor-Gesher, which would make a blocking majority possible.

Obtaining a blocking majority against Netanyahu could require President Reuven Rivlin to give Gantz the mandate to form a government. When it comes to forming a coalition, Gantz knows Liberman and Odeh are unlikely to cooperate, but sources in Blue and White said once he has the mandate, other party leaders will soften their demands. One possibility for Gantz is that Shas or United Torah Judaism (UTJ) could enter his coalition, even if it also contains critics of haredim (ultra-Orthodox) like Liberman and Blue and White’s No. 2, Yair Lapid.

Liberman has denied any possibility of cooperating with Odeh. But being part of a blocking majority would not require them to do anything other than making the same recommendation to Rivlin that Gantz form the government. When asked to respond to this possibility, Yisrael Beytenu officials said that it is Likud that has been cooperating lately with Arab parties, and there will be no blocking majority with Odeh. The officials could not confirm reports that Liberman told activists this week that they “must prevent Netanyahu from being prime minister.” Liberman told Army Radio on Thursday that while he knows he cannot get everything he wants in coalition talks, his demands will include passing the haredi conscription bill, initiating civil marriage, stores opening and public transportation being available on Shabbat, and learning the core curriculum in haredi schools.

All of those demands would not be accepted by Shas or UTJ. If Yisrael Beytenu cannot coexist in a coalition with either party, the only way Gantz would be able to form a coalition is with Likud. Gantz has ruled out a coalition with Netanyahu, but has welcomed a coalition with a post-Netanyahu Likud. In an interview with Army Radio’s Effi Triger on Thursday morning, Gantz called on Netanyahu to advance his October 2 legal hearing to before Election Day, so the voters will have all the information needed to cast their ballots. He said that could be in the interest of both Netanyahu and the public.

      Fascinating thread.

The Hebrew word often translated “confirm” in Daniel 9:27 is “gabar” and can be translated as strengthen, make strong, make greater, confirm.  It seems to me that all of those definitions imply that there must be some type of covenant that already exists, which the Antichrist will then come along and strengthen.

Here is my semi-educated theory.  Certainly no “thus sayeth the Lord.”  However the Israeli elections turn out, there will be some version of the Trump peace plan that is ratified.  I am guessing that the 3rd Temple will not be part of the agreement, at least initially.  Then, however, someone will come along to “gabar” the existing covenant and I would hypothesize that the key element of that “gabaring” will be the ability to build the 3rd Temple.  Whoever is ultimately responsible for giving the Jewish people the green light to build that Temple will be elevated to the position of Messiah.

Not sure where the timing of the rapture precisely fits, other than before the Antichrist is revealed through the signing of the 7-year covenant.

More signs of the times … the push for the 3rd temple continues … :popcorn

      From ProphecyNewsWatch.com

After it was announced on Thursday that the Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power) party was polling at four mandates, another poll, this time from the Israeli Daily Yisrael Hayom, also showed the party getting four seats for the first time since elections were called in May on Friday.

In an exclusive interview with Breaking Israel News, party head Itamar Ben-Gvir came out in favor of building the Third Temple.

Four mandates are required for any political party to even enter the Knesset (parliament). This means that the fact that they are polling at four seats for the first time is especially significant. Interestingly, the same day that they came out in favor of building the third Temple (Thursday) was the same day that the original poll in the Knesset channel showed them getting four seats.

Another reason why the poll results are vital is that as a right-wing party, those four seats will likely secure Netanyahu a coalition following elections.

According to the poll which was done in coordination with i24 News, the ‘right-wing’ block nears 60 mandates without Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beitenu (Israel is Home) party. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Netanyahu’s main challenger, Benny Gantz‘s Blue and White party is losing ground while Netanyahu’s Likud party is gaining steam.

The daily theorizes that the change in the poll results is affected by the tension in Israel’s north with Hezbollah. Although the actual clash only lasted for one day, it could still have an impact on the sentiment.

Another reason for Otzma Yahudit’s rise could have something to do with Moshe Feiglin’s Zehut (Identity) party dropping out of the race. Feiglin, who openly calls for building the third Temple, was promised a position as a high ranking official in Netanyahu’s government.

The survey took a sample of 603 Israeli adults in Israel with a margin of error of 4%. Now that Otzma Yehudit is expected to enter the Knesset, the forecast shows the center/right-wing block headed by Netanyahu gaining 58 seats. The Center/left-wing block headed by Benny Gantz getting 51 seat while Yisrael Beitenu is polling at 11 seats.

Exciting times we live in, as we see history unfold to accomplish the Lord’s will!

Again the main issue is not if the Rapture happens, but when?!  Again I can only reconcile my anticipation with the knowledge that time is on our side!

There are indeed so many reasons for not wanting to be here, but there are even more reasons for wanting to be with Christ!

I agree … exciting times.  Looks like all the political parties running for office are in favor of the 3rd Temple to get built … so does it matter who wins?   However, now that we know Moshe Feiglin is promised a high ranking position in Bibi government  …  I can’t help but think of what Moshe Feiglin said back on April 3rd “I don’t want to build a (Third) Temple in one or two years, I want to build it now.”  So I reckon we should pray that Bibi wins that way they can build it this year!  And the church surely must be gone before this happens, right? :yahoo:

      Kushner is the Jew!

My thoughts on the elections in Israel is this.  If Bibi gets re-elected we are probably here for a while longer.  If he doesn’t get elected and no majority is achieved, Israel would be prime for an attack.  And increased movement towards the temple being rebuilt will continue.  As it is now, Israel is already geared up for war.  Whether they declare a formal war or whether it is thrust upon them, prophecy fulfillment will continue forward.  And if Bibi does lose, the peace plan may again be postponed!

I think the Kushner peace plan is a very bad thing !!! If it’s unveiled and implemented while we are still here I would expect lots of bad things to happen to America such as national emergencies, national disasters, stock market plummeting, drawn into a war and other bad stuff. I think God pushed back the Israeli elections to push back the Kushner peace plan to hold back His own Judgments against America until hopefully we are out of here. Maybe something will happen that will push back the peace plan even more so we won’t get hit with judgments while we are still here. When it’s finally revealed maybe that’s when we get caught up out of here so the tribulation can begin !

Leaving Soon, remember the article you posted of the prophetic warnings Robert Mawire gave to Bibi about dividing up the Holy Land?  I think Bibi is heeding the warnings and following the lead of the Holy Spirit with that warning message because of his annexation pledge.  It looks like he is irking Hezbollah and the Palestinians …. so perhaps … its going to trigger the Psalm 83 war into motion and perhaps also remove the King of Jordan from power?    My question is … does the church still need to be here to see the prophecy of Psalm 83?  If not, this could be another BIG sign the church is leaving soon!! :popcorn

If Netanyahu wins this election and doesn’t fumble the ball again I think he will go along with the Jewish Kushner peace plan which he probably knows all the details of since before the first Israeli elections of this year and which probably isn’t going to have a 2 state solution in it but maybe other smaller concessions that Israel will have to make in order to get some kind of a peace deal with it’s enemies and the o.k. to go ahead to build the new temple.

If Benny Gantz wins he will go along with the deal also.

Since I’m a spring rapture proponent I hope the peace plan keeps getting pushed back till we are out of here which a war could do.

Any peace plan would be good.  If and when the Kushner plan is adopted, I’m sure that with strong leadership in Israel it could be altered or portions of it be revoked and rewritten.  Even by the AC to sell himself to Israel.

I just asked a few cyber friends if the church hast to be here to see Psalm 83 war and they all feel we wont be here.   So my thoughts are … based on Bibi’s annexation pledge and the conflicting heated tension with the Palestinian community … perhaps just perhaps the scenario unfolds this way … any day now the church waves and says adios to this evil world … then Psalm 83 war unfolds … then when the dust settles the peace deal gets announced … then G/M war occurs … then the AC confirms the peace deal and kicks in the tribulation period.

I’m not sure if that scenario I gave is correct or not because I’m still pondering this clue …“while they are saying peace and safety sudden destruction comes upon them” … is the sudden destruction referring to the G/M war or is it the start of the tribulation period?    Its still a mystery for that last piece  of the puzzle … B-)

Latest update in the polls …

      Breaking News Israel.com

Feiglin, another third Temple proponent, was promised a position as a high ranking official in Netanyahu’s government.

I think it will be very close.  I haven’t been following the corruption charges against Bibi … some predict this might hurt him.  Then you have …

According to Al Jazeera.com – by Arwa Ibrahim – 4 hrs ago

“From the poll taken in late June, more than half of 1,068 right-wing voters surveyed believed that Netanyahu should continue as prime minister even if he was indicted.”

“I will vote for Bibi because he has a lot of political experience and knows what’s best for us, as Israelis,” Ariel Markovski, a 24-year old from West Jerusalem, told Al Jazeera.

Asha Elias, a business owner, also from West Jerusalem, agreed. “Every politician is a thief so who cares about Netanyahu’s corruption. I support him, regardless.”

I’m for BiBi, but either way, I think there will be an uprising.

If BiBi wins, he will work to annex Jordan and push to build the temple, so we may see war.

If BiBi does not win, the left will push to “make peace” and it may get very interesting indeed (like Obama but in Israel).

If the Blue and White party of Gantz wins, he vows no collaboration and Liberman will not add his seats to that party. Gantz is more radical and war will certainly begin, because he intends to move the Arabs out, period, Temple in and no peace and security.

This is almost as exciting to watch as waiting for the laying of the foundation of the third temple per Ezra. God’s timing is so perfect and we have ring side seats. Next, trumpets at the festival of the last trumpet :popcorn

I don’t have any predictions myself right now. I’m just wondering if the outcome of these elections is going to speed things up prophetically speaking or just keep things going at the same pace. I’m also wondering if the peace plan once it’s completely revealed will bring judgments to America including being drawn into war with Iran. Hopefully in the next few days or weeks we can get a better gauge on things.

Can it get any more exciting! It appears, at this “to early to tell” moment, that we may have a draw! :popcorn

So funny to watch, like an elephant rolling in dust! Speculations abound, one party dropped out, BiBi is one seat behind Gantz, does this mean Gantz takes it? Absolutely not! They will battle to the end and count every ballot, not once but thrice! Our God is seated on His throne, orchestrating the affairs of man to make eternity roll. :yahoo: we serve an amazing Lord!

We should remember this and tuck it away in a memory bank! For we may not pass this way again! Meaning the affairs of mankind will soon be a distant memory for those of us who wait for our beloved. :prayer-hands:

We may well see a 13th P.M. for Israel.  Am curious to see if Trump will cozy up if a new P.M. is elected?!

Makes me wonder if there is still yet something that Trump and Bibi must accomplish before we are Raptured?  There is no doubt that both of these leaders were installed for a time such as this.  The question then becomes, is their time in office over with?!

Ring Bearer – it won’t matter, experienced or no experience, they are sent strong delusions to believe the AC is Messiah for 3.5 years, until the abomination of desolation when the AC sits on the throne and declares himself to be God, then their eyes are opened and they flee to Petra for the remaining 3.5 yrs. Revelation and Daniel are very clear on this strong delusion.

I just love watching the affairs of man, humanity is so arrogant to believe we are in control. God, the creator of heavens and earth is solely in control, He sits on the throne, and nothing surprises Him, worries Him, or gets out of place with Him. He changes not and His way is perfect, we are the watchers of this magnificent time in the history of man’s life on this old earth. Eternity will certainly reveal the depth of His great power toward us who believe …. :yahoo: :prayer-hands:

Oh boy, are you sitting down?  Here is the latest update …

It’s either Bibi is assigned the PM position again (because he is the only one capable of forming a government) or … it’s back for another round in voting again … and … it’s up to Gantz and Peretz to decide.

      GellerReport.com

      Caroline Glick

I need to point out a basic fact about the election results which the US media, in particular, is missing.

Benjamin Netanyahu – did not lose and  Benny Gantz didn’t win. Gantz cannot form a government under any circumstances. He cannot build a majority coalition.

By forming a unified political bloc of 55 Knesset members with the Likud’s satellite parties, Netanyahu has created a situation where he is the only possible prime minister. Either the Blue and White Party — or one of its factions — joins him, or Amir Peretz and Orly Levy bring the Labor party in, or Israel goes to new elections. Those are the only options.

In other words, it’s either going to be Netanyahu or elections. It’s up to Gantz, and Peretz.

I’ll say more. The balance of power is still very much on the Right. The Right has 55 seats. The Left has 44. Liberman is nothing but a Bibi hater. And the Arab parties are so extreme that they cannot be considered for any governing coalition.

Lest anyone be tempted by the Washington Post’s attempt to claim Israel is racist because Israelis don’t want to share power with the Arab parties, the fact is that there is not one Arab party that accepts Israel’s right to exist. There were Arab politicians elected yesterday that have written odes to terrorist murderers on the Facebook pages. Arab lawmakers were elected that have met with terror kingpins. Arab lawmakers routinely support the Palestinian war against Israel and express support for Hamas.
It is not racist for Israelis not to want Hamas supporters and champions of terrorist murderers in the Israeli government or receiving security briefings from the military and intelligence services. It is rational.

The deadlock in Israel is electoral, not ideological. Liberman’s defection from the Right has denied it a governing majority. But it is still very much the majority in Israel. And the vast majority of Jewish lawmakers in the Knesset support applying Israeli law over the Jordan Valley as Netanyahu suggested. A large majority (55-44) of Jewish lawmakers also support applying Israeli law to other parts of Judea and Samaria.

Netanyahu is the only person capable of forming a government. It remains to be seen if that will happen, but Gantz cannot form a government. And he is slowly coming to terms with this unalterable reality.

And then there is this from Savedat33 on the Harpazo board …

I guess its wait and see how this truly unfolds … :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn :popcorn  (Just passing out the popcorn … I think we all really need it … hold the butter … this is Cracker Jacks … the good stuff.   )

It’s not up to Netanyahu.  It appears Netanyahu might have painted himself into a corner by alienating people on both the left and right.  And there will not be third elections – Netanyahu will be out as PM before that happens.

This was Bibi’s one “do over” to try and get a solid right wing government and that’s not happening because the Yamina party whom he was counting on led by Ayelet Shaked has just split back into two parties the New Right and Jewish Home.  Netanyahu (mainly his wife) has an issue with Ayelet Shaked and so Bibi has a huge battle up hill because even if the Right agrees to back Netanyahu he’s still only at 55 seats. B/W have 57 and Lieberman’s ‘favor’.

If I were the betting sort, I’d hedge my bets for a unity government and against Netanyahu ever enjoying a singular PMship – if he should even be named PM – again.

We’ll find out on Sunday who President Rivlin taps to form a government.

Caroline Glick is a part of the New Right headed by Ayelet Shaked. And while she is a very good author, she writes opinion pieces and not articles rooted in situational facts.  Her assertion of back to elections is not an option anyone wants.

If Netanyahu called for elections again, he would surely lose. Because it would look (and it kinda did this last time) that he is fishing for an election result to keep him in power and his priority is himself and not Israel.

      Perception is everything in politics.

And as for Israel’s ‘government’ changing, remember it is God who establishes the authorities on Earth:

1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. 2Consequently, the one who resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.

If Netanyahu’s time is over and it is “time” to form a unity government – it is because it is “time” according to God for it to change.  We know Israel accepts the antichrist. We know Israel makes a covenant with death.  We know Israel accepts a “peace” agreement. We know God deals with Israel corporally. We know that the true King of Israel is the Lord Jesus and these things will happen as it leads the way for the King to return and redeem His People, Israel.

So, if it’s time, it’s time. And not for nothing, all of this means we are almost out of here, woohoo!

Analysis Israel Election Results: Arab Party Must Recommend Gantz, or Netanyahu Will Be Back

The Joint List’s first aim, its slogan, was to oust Netanyahu. But at the moment, unless it recommends Gantz – subject to a list of justified demands, of course – that won’t happen. Netanyahu has 55 MKs willing to recommend him, whereas without the support of the Joint List’s MKs, Gantz will be left with only 44. The ball will find its way back into Netanyahu’s court.

Just read this article … of a possible rotating PM  ….   LOL  talk about topsy-turvy government this will be  …. I can just see them blaming each other when things go very wrong!

Netanyahu, Gantz in unity talks; may rotate as Israel PM

JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his rival Benny Gantz launched negotiations on Monday over a proposed Israeli unity government and a key politician said the focus was on who would lead it first under a rotation deal.

President Reuven Rivlin, tasked with picking a candidate best-placed to try to form the next governing coalition, has spoken in favor of unity and, on Monday, summoned Netanyahu and Gantz for closed-door talks.

Gantz met earlier with Avigdor Lieberman, a political free agent and likely kingmaker thanks to his eight seats in parliament.

“Happily, the two big parties have internalized the pressing necessity of setting up a unity government with a rotating premiership,” Lieberman said on Facebook.

Concluding their meeting at Rivlin’s Jerusalem office, Netanyahu and Gantz issued a joint statement saying they had discussed “moving forward with unity”. It did not elaborate.

The entire argument right now is over the question of who will serve first as prime minister, and who second,” said Lieberman.

Such a rotation has a precedent in the 1984-88 unity government of left-leaning Shimon Peres and right-winger Yitzhak Shamir, who took turns as prime minister.

If a power-sharing deal is forged, it could be imperative for Netanyahu to serve as prime minister first should he seek to avoid prosecution.

Could this herald another term for Trump?!  Things will probably move forward with more calculation with Bibi as PM.  World leaders will probably not be able to overwhelm a new PM.   Trump and Bibi seem to have a good working relationship.  It’s all in the Lord’s hands.

Bibi has 21 days to form a government … if he is not successful then Gantz gets a crack at it.  If he can’t do it … then its baaack again to the voting booths.

Here are some interesting thoughts from Savedat33 …

      • If neither Netanyahu or Gantz can get the seats to form a government there is a third option before elections are triggered:
      • Any Knesset Member (I repeat any, including Arab members) can attempt to cobble together a 61 seat majority.

If that function fails, then elections would be called.   Where does it say the antichrist can’t be leader of Israel?  The Jewish people are expecting the Messiah Ben David.  The conquering king and ‘king’ denotes ruler.

So, there is an argument that can be made that the antichrist becomes the leader of Israel – after all, the King of the North and the East come against the antichrist at the end of the 7 years and all the nations of the world come down to the Megiddo Valley – why would they do that? Unless the antichrist is “ruling” from Jerusalem.  Which would also explain why the antichrist is always in Jerusalem (in scripture) and why the two witnesses have their ministry in Jerusalem and it also gives context to Zechariah12:3.

Little food for thought.  Considering the antichrist comes to power but not by power of his own 🤔 it is given to him.

        Geri7,

If that comparison list is to be 100% accurate then the 13th Prime Minister of modern day Israel will hand over Israel to the AC to be their king until Jesus comes back.

        Daniel 8:23 calls the AC a king…

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Perhaps they hand the AC the rulership position when he confirms the peace agreement and in return he permits them to build their temple and promises to protect them?

Then somebody tries to assassinate him and he survives.

Hmmm … I’m not sure if he will have those injured defects before coming to power or if it happens from the  assassination attempt.  Will he be wearing an eye patch and have a hook arm like a pirate?  According to Dr. David Jeremiah he claims the AC will be very good looking and will speak great things.

        From Dr. David Jeremiah

        Who is the Antichrist?
The Antichrist is a person who is against Christ. The prefix anti can also mean “instead of,” and both meanings will apply to this coming world leader. He will overtly oppose Christ and at the same time pass himself off as Christ.

The Antichrist will aggressively live up to his terrible name. He will persecute, torture, and kill the people of God as he leads the armies of the world into the Battle of Armageddon. He will be the most powerful dictator the world has ever seen, making Caesar, Hitler, Mao, and Saddam seem tame by comparison.

Even though the Antichrist is identified by that name only four times in the Bible, he appears many more times under various aliases. He is also called:

“the promise that shall come” –Daniel 9:26 NKJV

        “a fierce king”—Daniel 8:23 NLT

        “a master of intrigue”—Daniel 8:23 NIV

“a despicable man” –Daniel 11:21 NLT

        “a worthless shepherd”—Zechariah 11:16–17 NLT

“the one who brings destruction” –2 Thessalonians 2:3 NLT

“the lawless one” –2 Thessalonians 2:8 NKJV

“the evil man” –2 Thessalonians 2:9 NLT

        “the Beast” –Revelation 13:1 NKJV

When he comes on the scene, people will flock to him like flies to honey, and they will do anything he asks.

How will he unite the nations?
The prophet Daniel describes the Antichrist in these terms: “After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast … And there … were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking pompous words. … He shall speak pompous words against the Most High” (Daniel 7:7–8, 25).

As Daniel says, the coming world leader will be renowned for this kind of eloquence, which will capture the attention and administration of the world.

Daniel goes on to tell us that not only will this golden–tongued orator speak in high–blown terms, but he will also speak arrogantly against God. The apostle John describes him similarly in the book of Revelation: “And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies” (Revelation 13:5).

Daniel continues his description of the Antichrist by telling us he is a man “whose appearance was greater than his fellows” (Daniel 7:20). In terms of his outward appearance, this man will be strikingly attractive. The combination of his magnetic personality, speaking ability, and extreme good looks will make him virtually irresistible to the masses. The apostle John expands on Daniel’s description of the Antichrist’s blasphemous acts by telling us that every living person will be required to worship this man. “He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as man as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Revelation 13:15).

Finally, Revelation 13:1–8 describes the Antichrist as a Beast—an appropriate title for him. During the last 3½ years of the Tribulation, the Antichrist will personify Satan himself. Second Thessalonians 2:9 says, “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders.” Step by step, the Antichrist will promote himself from a European leader, to a world leader, to a tyrannical global dictator, and finally to a god.

        What is the “unholy trinity”?
Satan is the first person and the father of the unholy trinity. The Antichrist will be the second member and the son of the unholy trinity. The False Prophet, the third member of the unholy trinity, will direct the worship and praise of the people back to the Antichrist (Revelation 13:11–12).

How does the Antichrist gain political power?
His rise to power will be inconspicuous. It will not be noticed in the beginning and will hardly raise the attention even of the those who are closer to the center of action. He will rise out of the general population. John says, “Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns” (Revelation 13:1). The sea in biblical imagery stands for the general mass of humanity or, more specifically, the Gentile nations.

Whatever power the Antichrist has, he is allowed to have it by the overriding authority of Almighty God. As bad as the Tribulation will be, it will never be out of God’s control. There is a leash on Satan, and God is holding it. Satan will be able to do only that which God allows him to do during the Tribulation period.

        Who will worship the Antichrist?
According to Revelation 13:8, “all who dwell on the earth will worship him.” Daniel 7:25 tells us that the Antichrist is a cultic leader. “He shall speak pompous words against the Most High … and shall intend to change times and law.” He will speak out against the true God of heaven. The language suggests that he will try to raise himself to the level of God and make declarations from that position.

Second Thessalonians 2:4 says the Antichrist “opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” He will accept the worship of the people of the world.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Armageddon is a battle in response to the return of Jesus, not a battle against the AC. While it’s all jotted down very quickly in the Word, it seems very likely that Jesus returns, the armies of the world gather at Armageddon to battle HIM for returning, and…we all know how that goes.

Yes, the battle of Armageddon will be all the kings of the earth against the Lord Jesus.  Jesus will gather all nations … He assigns the tasks to….

Revelation 16:12  And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Revelation 16:13  And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14  For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Perhaps all the kings of the earth don’t realized they will be going to battle against the Lord Jesus?  Perhaps they think its against the AC ?

      From Dr. David Jeremiah

      He explains it better …

What will happen to the Antichrist as he leads the Battle of Armageddon?
During the Battle of Armageddon, the world will become increasingly discontented with the leadership of this global dictator who has gone back on every promise he made. Major segments of the world will begin to assemble their own military forces and rebel against him.

The king of the South and his armies will be the first to come after the Antichrist, followed by the armies of the North. “At the time of the end the king of the South shall attack him: and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships” (Daniel 11:40).

The Antichrist will put down some of the these first attempts at rebellion against him. But before he can move toward his goal of destroying Israel and Jerusalem, something happens: “But news from the east and the north shall trouble him; therefore he shall go out with great fury to destroy and annihilate many” (Daniel 11:44). The Bible leaves no doubt as to the source of the news that so disturbs enrages the Antichrist: “Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12).

The Euphrates is one of the greatest rivers in the world. It flows from the mountains of western Turkey, through Syria, and continues through the heart of Iraq, not far from Baghdad. It eventually unites with the Tigris to become the Shatt el Arab, and finally empties into the Persian Gulf. The entirety of the Euphrates flows through Muslim territory. In Genesis 15 and Deuteronomy 11, the Lord specified that the Euphrates would be the easternmost border of the Promised Land. It serves both as a border and a barrier between Israel and her enemies.

With the disappearance of the Euphrates, the Antichrist will be vulnerable to attack by the kings of the east. Their arrival will mark the beginning of the greatest war of all history.

God is in control, as He oversees all things to accomplish His purposes!  Indeed we are privilaged to see God’s hand intervene and direct the affairs of men and Satan.

Watching Jonathon Cahn’s tape with regards to God’s accomplishments in sync with various Jewish feast days and historic dates of note, Nissan 1 seems to be a portent of great things.  His study and insights are well received.

Usually Nissan begins in April or May.  Wonder what day that will be in 2020?!  That IMHO will be a day to keep an eye on.

Gantz: I’m determined to have broad unity government, not third elections

      The Jerusalem Post.com
      By Lahav Harkov
      10/31/2019

Benny Gantz’s remarks reflected a deep frustration with the Likud and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Blue and White and Likud continued to disparage one another and express extreme skepticism about the possibility of building a coalition, even as the parties held talks to form a unity government.

The negotiating teams for the two large parties met on Thursday morning in Ramat Gan and plan to meet again on Sunday. Blue and White leaders Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid joined the negotiators for part of the meeting.

Speaking at an event for party activists Thursday night, Gantz said he wants “a broad, liberal unity government – or any other way to form a government…I will make every effort to make progress…I am determined to have a government and not an election.

But Gantz’s further remarks reflected a deep frustration with the Likud and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Gantz railed against Justice Minister Amir Ohana for giving a speech in which he claimed there was a conspiracy in the State Attorney’s Office against Netanyahu, saying: “Everyone has a right to fight to prove his innocence, but what is happening in recent days must stop…Netanyahu needs to hit the brakes fast. The things Justice Minister Ohana said crossed every line and we will make sure they don’t continue.”

A source in the negotiations said Blue and White openly opposed the Likud’s attacks on the legal system for the past year, so while they’re disappointed in Ohana, his speech didn’t have a real impact on negotiations.

As for the 55-seat bloc of religious and right-wing parties, which remains steadfastly behind Netanyahu, Gantz said he is determined to lead a government and not be “excess baggage.”

Another senior Blue and White source said major problem is that the party does not trust Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to stick to the terms of a rotation agreement for the premiership, saying: “If Netanyahu is first, no one will be second…No one trusts him not to go back on his promises.”

“If Bibi wasn’t head of Likud now, we would have a government,” the source said. “He seems to want a third election.”

A poll in Jerusalem Post sister publication Ma’ariv found that if a third election takes place in less than a year, most of the public – 52% – would blame Netanyahu, followed by 21% who would think Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman is at fault, 19% who pin the blame on Lapid and 8% on Gantz.

The poll also showed that not much would change in the event of a third election. Blue and White would get 34 seats and Likud 33, one more for each part. The Joint List would get one less seat, bringing it to 12. Shas and Yisrael Beytenu would remain as they are, with 9 and 8 seats, respectively, and UTJ would lose one seat and have 6. Yamina – which split into Bayit Yehudi and New Right after the election – would have 6 seats instead of 7, and Democratic Union would remain the same at 5. The poll was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday and has a 4.1% margin of error.

Likud chief negotiator Yariv Levin said after the talks that Blue and White wants a minority government supported by the Joint List and not a unity government.

“We are coming out of the meeting with the feeling that these are fake negotiations, a Blue and White show for the media and a pleasant conversation that is only meant to pass the time,” he said.

The real negotiations, Levin said, took place in Gantz’s meeting with Joint List leader Ayman Odeh and MK Ahmed Tibi later Thursday, in which they will try to “establish a minority government with the Arabs that is extremist and dangerous.”

“As long as they do not abandon this foolish idea, these talks are a show and fake,” he added.

The Likud negotiator expressed hope that in Sunday’s meeting Blue and White will “abandon the lunatic option” and accept the “president’s plan” that would allow Gantz to be prime minister while Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu takes an extended leave to handle his legal woes.

Levin also called Gantz and Lapid’s presence in the meeting a “PR stunt” meant to hide that they don’t want a unity government or to follow the president’s plan.

A minority coalition with outside support from the Joint List has been a controversial option among Blue and White MKs, and some in the party’s right flank have spoken out against it. There was a heated argument on the subject in a Blue and White faction meeting this week, with some saying the idea of building a coalition relying on anti-Zionist votes should not even be entertained as a negotiating tactic and others saying all options must be considered.

When it comes to a minority government, one Blue and White source told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday that any possibility should be considered to get Netanyahu to “pack his bags and leave” the Prime Minister’s Office. He said it is always possible that once the minority government is established and lasts for a period of time, other Zionist parties will join it and form a majority.

Blue and White’s spokesperson said Gantz’s meeting with Odeh and Tibi “was held in a positive and substantive atmosphere and discussions focused on important issues to the Arab society, particularly civil issues which Gantz made clear need to be addressed in all events,” meaning, regardless of whether the Joint List is supporting their coalition.

Odeh tweeted that they discussed burning issues for Arab society and the shared issues for all citizens of the country.

“We remain faithful to the values of peace and equality and welcome the Likud’s hysteria,” Odeh said.

Meanwhile, Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman ruled out any possibility of joining a minority government with the Joint List, effectively killing that option.

“First of all, it is clear that the Joint List is a fifth column – not in scare quotes, but literally,” Liberman told KAN Bet. “The whole election we said there is only one option, a unity government, period. We will continue with everything that we promised to the voters.”

Still, Liberman argued that Netanyahu wants another election and has ignored all of his party’s overtures.

Blue and White leader Benny Gantz has 20 days left to form a government before the mandate to do so goes to the Knesset, which will then have 21 days for a majority of its members to back a candidate for prime minister. If that does not happen, a third election within a year will be called.

Ahead of Thursday’s meeting, Likud and Blue and White seemed as far apart as ever, with sources on both sides saying they don’t see a path to a coalition, making a third election likely.

Levin said that Gantz has shown willingness to compromise after meeting with Netanyahu, but the rest of Blue and White’s quadripartite leadership, which also includes Yair Lapid, Moshe Ya’alon and Gabi Ashkenazi, pushed back, leading Gantz to reverse course.

Another fantastic article from Mr. Duck.  In layman’s terms he sums up what’s going on.  I thought I would post it here since some of it pertains to the Israeli election drama.

Lining Up  – by Daymond Duck   Dec 8, 2019

This week, Breaking Israel News published an interesting article about Israel’s stalemated election and Prime Min. Netanyahu’s legal problems.

It is just one man’s opinion, and there may be political motivations behind it, but some readers might find what the rabbi is saying to be interesting.

The original article can be found at:

      https://www.breakingisraelnews.com/140704/rabbi-whats-happening-netanyahu-gods-judgement-not-accident/?goal=0_bb2894f273-d50a37fea6-61167281&mc_cid=d50a37fea6&mc_eid=85b73fe6f2

Mendel Kessin, an orthodox rabbinic scholar, keeps delivering a speech titled “The Worldwide Reduction of Evil and Netanyahu’s Downfall.”

The rabbi is making four points that, in my words, are: 1) Many world leaders are having problems; 2) Israel will get a different kind of government; 3) The judgment of God is falling on Prime Min. Netanyahu; and, 4) Israel will go in a better direction.

I want to expand on my understanding of these four points.

One, according to the rabbi, God doesn’t have to drag nations into war to weaken them.

God can weaken nations internally with riots and demonstrations, and that is what God is currently doing to Israel’s enemies and the Arab nations.

God is weakening the nations because He intends to change the world.

Two, in the past, non-religious Jews formed coalitions to rule Israel.

Israel’s two failed elections mean that God is rejecting the process that allows non-religious Jews to rule over Israel.

God wants Israel to establish a procedure that will produce a different kind of government.

Three, there is no doubt that Prime Min. Netanyahu is one of the world’s greatest leaders and he has done a great work in Israel, but God has allowed him to suffer humiliation (be indicted) and great financial expense (years of paying high-priced lawyers) because he has refused to destroy the Islamic terrorists that are humiliating Israel and causing Israeli citizens to lose crops, property, money, etc.

The rabbi is saying, Prime Min. Netanyahu is reaping what he has sown.

He is saying, the Prime Minister’s most important responsibility is to protect the Israeli people and their assets, but Mr. Netanyahu has failed to do that for the Jews that live near Gaza, so God is not protecting Mr. Netanyahu and his assets.

Four, the rabbi is saying Israel’s new kind of government will be a religious leader that will give Israel a bright future.

This writer does not know whether the rabbi is right or wrong, but Israel’s future includes government approval to rebuild the Temple and resume the animal sacrifices, and eventually, to accept the reign of the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Moving on to another subject: On Nov. 23, 2019, the U.S. Commander of Centcom visited Bahrain, the U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff visited Israel, and Vice Pres. Mike Pence visited the Kurds in Iraq to discuss the situation in Iran.

The U.S. sanctions against Iran are working, Iran is in financial trouble, and the Iranian people are rioting and demonstrating.

Iran has two choices: Change her ways so the U.S. will drop the sanctions, or risk starting a war.

The U.S. believes Iran will risk starting a war by attacking a major target in the Middle East, but the location and details are anyone’s guess.

Two days later, DEBKAfile reported that their sources believe that Iran is ready to move forward (on the risk of starting a war).

Five days later, Pres. Trump and Prime Min. Netanyahu discussed the situation over the phone and finalized their plans on how to deal with Iran.

Moving on one more time, it has occurred that God helped Joshua capture Jericho with trumpets in just seven days (Josh. 6:1-20) and He helped Gideon and 300 men defeat the Midianites with trumpets, pitchers and lamps in one day (Judg. 7:10-22).

      What an amazing God!

But in 1948, God helped a poorly armed Israel win the War of Independence in twenty months; in 1956, God helped Israel win the Suez Canal War in eight days; in 1967, God helped Israel win the Six-Day War in six days; and in 1973, God helped Israel win the Yom Kippur War in eighteen days.

I would say that the same God that helped Joshua and Gideon in Old Testament times is still on the throne, and many prophetic events are lining up.

God said He will regather Israel and “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD” (Isa. 54:17).

If nothing happens today, then Israeli elections will be March 2, 2020. Looks like they filed a bill to dissolve the knesset like they did for the first and second elections.

:agree  the Lord wanted to be Israel’s King in the Old Testament and yet the Israelites rejected the notion and wanted to be like other nations with a human king to rule over them, so the Lord gave them their wish.  They got stuck with King Saul and all the problems down thru the centuries.  But soon very soon the Lord will be ruling and reigning during the millennium and no need for them to vote ever again for a political leader!

I am more interesting to see how the next election will revolve into the three shepherds war. Here’s a scenario. If the next election results in another deadlock, will the enemy capitalize this situation by attacking Israel from round about? If my timeline is correct, the three shepherds war shall happen in late spring, early summer., 2 to 3 months after the election. Looks like this election will lead to some turmoil in Israel.

Indeed any nation is most vulnerable when there is internal political dissension!   A house divided shall not stand.

Speculation abounds whether it involves the politics of men or the timing of the Rapture!

Seems to me that I try to glean between mere speculation and the wisdom of God rightly dividing the Word.  They are times when they are mutually exclusive!  But many lack the wisdom to discern.

2ndcoming, I have been watching for that too. With this election cycle going on for a third election, Israel is very vulnerable right now. I am actually surprised that her enemies have not already attacked because of Israel’s instability in the government. Very interested to see the next 6 months.

I also agree.  Especially believe the next six month will also be critical and revealing.  That is of course should we all be here.

Again, although hoping for a Christmas Rapture is enticing, I still think we might yet have six months to a year on this Earth.

Once more Bibi gets the nod to represent the Likud party … Round 3 occurs on March 2, 2020.

Israel’s Netanyahu wins Likud party primary challenge in landslide
      Fox News
      Bradford Betz

On Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed an overwhelming victory in a primary election for leadership of the ruling Likud party ahead of the general election next year.

Official results announced early Friday showed Netanyahu with 72 percent of the votes, compared to 28 percent for challenger Gideon Saar.

The win gives the embattled leader a boost ahead of Israel’s third election in less than a year and could give him another opportunity to form a government after falling short in two previous attempts in 2019.

The apparent victory also keeps alive Netanyahu’s hopes of winning immunity from prosecution after being indicted last month on a series of corruption charges.

“A giant victory,” Netanyahu tweeted just over an hour after polls closed.

“Thanks to the members of Likud for the trust, support and love,” he added. “God willing, I will lead Likud to a big victory in the coming elections.”

But despite Likud’s strong position, the general election is widely expected to leave the party and its main rival, the Blue and White, unable to form a government on their own, and Netanyahu’s lingering legal troubles could again hamper efforts to form a unity government.

Netanyahu, who has led the country for the past decade, has cultivated an image as a veteran statesman with close ties to President Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders.

His refusal over the last decade to make any concessions to the Palestinians was rewarded after Trump took office. His hardline approach to Iran has also proved popular.

But his fortunes have waned after he was unable to form a government following back-to-back elections in March and September. His party came in second place in September’s elections, causing many observers to view the vote as the beginning of the end.

In November, Netanyahu was indicted on charges of fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes. Netanyahu has vowed to remain in office, dismissing the indictment as an “attempted coup” by hostile media and law enforcement.

Opinion polls have forecast a similar outcome in the March vote, with Likud and Blue and White leading the pack, and Avigdor Lieberman’s Yisrael Beiteinu party emerging as the kingmaker.

Netanyahu is desperate to remain in office, where he is best-positioned to fight the corruption charges. Israeli law does not require a sitting prime minister to resign if indicted.

The Supreme Court will next week begin considering whether an indicted member of parliament can be tasked with forming a new government, a decision that could potentially disqualify Netanyahu from leading the next government.

Wow, I just saw this article … Lieberman sure is showing his dislike for Bibi. Do you think Bibi has a chance of winning on Tuesday or do you think the most votes this time will go to a secular leader that will form a government?

‘No more talk of unity, we will form a government without Netanyahu’ A liberal, secular coalition is “extremely likely,” Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Lieberman tells Maariv Business Conference.

      by  Israel Hayom Staff
      Published on  02-26-2020 18:40
Head of Yisrael Beytenu Avigdor Lieberman is declaring that the next government will be formed without Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Speaking at the Maariv Business conference in Herzliya on Wednesday, Lieberman discussed the political impasse that has led to Israel’s third general election in under a year and possible ways of solving it.

“We want a liberal, secular coalition and I think it’s extremely likely. Everyone is sick of Netanyahu. All the Likud faction members are sick of him. If there were a secret vote, he would only get six seats. We will only join a national unity government,” Lieberman said.

According to the Yisrael Beytenu leader, Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz would win a combined 65 seats.

“I told them both they should form a unity government, but they preferred to argue about who would serve first and who would serve second [in a rotation for prime minister], which is how we got dragged into another election. Next time, I’m making no commitments. I’m always transparent and try to say from the get-go what my commitments are.

“There is no more unity government. It’s clear that with the two of them, we can’t build anything. So we are preparing ourselves, and are ready for the day after. We will have 61 seats without Netanyahu and [haredi MKs] Deri and Litzman.”

Lieberman said he was being asked why he ruled out joining a coalition with the Joint Arab List.

“There is one reason – it is a list comprised of supporters of terrorism. Let’s discuss the facts and then everyone can draw their own conclusions. The facts are clear – not a single member of the Joint Arab List attended Shimon Peres’ funeral, but that same week they visited the grave of [late PLO leader Yasser] Arafat in Ramallah,” he said.

Lieberman continued: “The Joint Arab List condemned the US for the targeted attack on arch-murderer Maj. Gen. Qassem Soleimani, who murdered more people than any person in the 21st century. Joint Arab List leader Ayman Odeh personally condemned the Arab League for putting Hezbollah on a list of terrorist organizations.”

When asked if he wanted to resume his former position as defense minister in the next government, Lieberman answered, “I want to establish public transportation on Shabbat and funding for an independent school system. I want clear basic policies. As far as being prime minister … it was an option, never an obsession, for me. With God’s help, let’s get rid of Deri, Litzman, and Gafni, and build a government without Netanyahu. Everything else will come later.”

      Bibi won! :yahoo:

Benjamin Netanyahu defeats Benny Gantz with striking 60-seat bloc
      Jerusalem Post
      By Gil Hoffman 3/2/20

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu succeeded in winning 60 seats for his bloc of right-wing and religious parties in Monday’s election, one less than he needed for a majority in the Knesset, according to exit polls on the three television networks.

The polls indicated that Netanyahu’s Likud won 36-37 seats. Its allies in Shas, UTJ and Yamina won 9, 7-8 and 6-7 respectively. The polls showed Blue and White with 33 seats, its ally Labor-Gesher-Meretz 6-7, the Joint List 14-15 and Yisrael Beytenu 6-8.

The numbers are expected to change overnight. The votes of soldiers, who tend to lean to the right, have not yet been counted and the Joint List tends to go down a seat when the soldiers’ votes are added. But, if the Right does not obtain its 61st seat, it could end up being because the far-right Otzma Yehudit refused Netanyahu’s repeated requests to quit the race.

      Netanyahu immediately tweeted “thank you.”

The outright victory in the third election in under a year is expected to enable Netanyahu to quickly form a right-wing coalition after having headed a caretaker government since December 2018.

Netanyahu spoke to the heads of the parties in his camp immediately after the exit polls were announced and agreed to form a strong nationalist government as soon as possible.

Sources in Likud said he would even try to get a government in place before his criminal trial begins on March 17.

Blue and White MKs expressed disappointment with the results but said they did not expect the party to break up. They dismissed speculation that Blue and White leader Benny Gantz would quit politics.

Don’t you think it very odd that the other party’s just said “ok- we’re not happy but he won”. Especially in light of the “pre-peace deal”. Do we here the bells of peace and security, to complete the lull to sleep? On the surface, it all is being pushed to maintain an atmosphere of quiet. Yet the quiet is so loud, it is screaming- rapture this year! :prayer-hands:

I just viewed an interesting youtube called “3 x Israel Governments fall – prophecy being fulfilled”

      The synopsis is …

Prophecies regarding no government in Israel:

      1) “On the eve of the year 5780 the year of corrections, there will not be a government in Israel for an extended period and the various camps will be quarrel much without a decision on either side, and then, on Rosh Hashana [Nisan] itself (March 26, 2020), they will fight in heaven, the holy side against the side of evil, and God and His entourage will decide between them. And this is all I can say, and from here I swore not to reveal more secrets and hidden things.” —-Kaduri, 1979

      2) “There will come on the day that two ministers win the government in the land of Israel. Both their names will be Benjamin and neither of them will succeed in establishing their government or kingship. On that day, know and understand that the King Messiah already stands at the doorway and on the Sabbath afterwards he will come and be revealed,” Shoshani’s statement continues. “Understand this and remember it.” —-The Covenant of the Persimmon – Rabbi Sasson Hai Shoshani

      3) The disciples of Rabbi Jose ben Kisma asked him, ‘When will the Messiah come?’ — He answered, ‘I fear lest ye demand a sign of me that my answer is correct.’ They assured him, ‘We will demand no sign of you.’ So he answered them, ‘When this gate falls down, is rebuilt, falls again, and is again rebuilt, and then falls a third time, before it can be rebuilt the son of David will come.’ —- Tractate Sanhedrin 98a

      4) Micah 4:9-10 “Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail. Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail.”

      ———————
      In the comment section …

If the Micah prophesy, is talking about this period of time of Israel not having a Government, shouldn’t we expect the death of one of the leaders, very soon, i.e. “is your counselor perished”

Micah 4:9 ” Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counselor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail. 10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail ”

      Another Comment was …
In my view I think it might help explain the reason for the two witnesses in Jerusalem. According to Revelation 11 they have great powers. I think they protect Israel for 1260 days in the absence of a government.

      Your thoughts?

Hmmm and do we have another high watch date  … Rosh Hashana [Nisan] itself (March 26, 2020) to be alert for?   :mail:

Wow, Geri!!!!!  But ????  Kaduri knew Rosh Hashanah (blowing of trumpets) is observed on Tishri 1 not Nisan 1.  So what’s up?  Hmmmmm.   ” … Rosh Hashana [Nisan] itself (March 26, 2020)” is kinda mysterious.  But way way exciting!  And everyone would then know what “…at the last trumpet” really meant.  And I [WE] wouldn’t have to wait until September!!!!  Yay!!

Our disappearance on the 26th (only 2.1 more weeks) would make the covid-19 problem and all its developing and grotesque dimensions look kinda insignificant.  And it would be the day after I get my next (last??) Social Security check.  Phew!! :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr: :mdrmdr:

 :yahoo:    Forgive my exuberance.  Maybe some men’s hearts failing them for joy?  By the way, if I died immediately before the Rapture, I’d be up there ahead of you all.  I better not get too married to this mysterious Kaduri-based “high-watch” date idea.

Check out the wording on the Torah Calendar … “Spiritual New Year!  Day of Salvation!”  with Exodus 12:1-2  “And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

      [quote]

Thus, we now see that in Ezekiel 40:1, when it says “…at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month”, we understand that it is the month of Tishri (the “turn” of the year”), and the 10th day therefore is Yom Kippur!

Thus the Jewish calendar has forever counted the HOLY year from the Exodus, but counts the “turn of the year” from 1 Tishri. So, the easiest for us to understand is that months are counted from Nisan in remembrance of the Exodus, but years are counted from Tishri, along with a host of other record-keeping events.

The spiritual year, or sacred year starts with Nisan.
The civil year or “civil calendar” is determined from Tishri.[/quote]

I’m not endorsing any date here, just pointing out that there are two New Years observed.

1 Tishri  … is this in September?

It remains a mystery of which calendar to follow because then there is this date as well … August 21st as Rosh Hashanah on the Torah.

Hey at least it’s still before the Sept date …. just hoping 2020 is thee year! ;-)

“there is no kings” and Micah 4:9-10 refers to the second half of tribulation.

Micah 4:9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counseller perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

This verse refers to the second half of tribulation. By this time, AC and his army has already trodden down Jerusalem.

10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Many Israelis shall be led captive to Babylon where AC dwells. But from Babylon they shall be delivered by Jesus after Jesus returns to earth.

Breaking News Israel   By David Sidman  March 15, 2020 , 8:40 pm

Gantz Given First Shot at Forming Government

With the support of both Avigdor Liberman’s Yisrael Beitenu Party and the Joint Arab List, Netanyahu’s main rival, Benny Gantz was given the first opportunity to form a government.

And although the former IDF Chief gets first dibs at forming a governing coalition, his chances of actually succeeding are slim. That’s because in order to do that, he would likely need the Joint Arab List to agree to join his government which is highly unlikely to happen.

If Gantz fails to form a coalition, Prime Minister Netanyahu will have a shot at it. But unless the Prime Minister can recruit at least three defectors, his chances of forming a government don’t seem to be much better.

Amidst the corona-virus crisis, Netanyahu tried to convince Gantz to join an emergency unity government. However his request fell on deaf ears.
