Can’t wait to hunker down and cease all activities as we await that trumpet blast!

Skies are ominous where I live now awaiting thunderstorms for the next two days!

Yes indeed, time to watch the skies!

The heavens indeed declare His handiwork!  We are instructed to look up for our redemption where it all originates and take place at!

So a sky watch or our focus directed upwards just prior to the Rapture is a real possibility!

      Just saying!

We’ve had nothing but total cloud coverage and rain for over a week and the forecast for this week will be more the same … rain rain rain … until Saturday.  So hoping one of these days … these clouds will form into rapture clouds so we can see the precious SON and be delivered from this crazy place … 3rd rock from the sun … and be transported to … sweet beulah land … we long for you

Send some of that our way Geri — the Pacific Northwest is dry as a bone…  My yard died in May of this year – usually it turns brown in late July.   The fires here in Oregon could use some of that drenching rain.

Indeed. We desperately need rain here on the Left Coast.

      Let’s trade, Geri. ;-)

Oh … I wish I could flip a switch and send the rain clouds off to the west coast.  The slimy slugs are multiplying like rabbits :negative:   I’m out every day with a salt shaker killing them before they suck the life out of my plants.  I don’t have a rain gauge … I can only go by this tool box that I keep dumping the rain water out of …. inside box is 3 inches in height by 10 1/2 inches long and 6 inches width.

Indeed after two thousands years of drought with Christ’s ascending into Heaven, we like in the time of Elijah are instructed to look for that latter rain according to the word of the Lord!  Focusing on the wisp of prophetic clouds on the horizon!

So too, it is with the clouds of faith watching them gather and increase the drought of our separation will end!

Indeed being able to fully relish the imminent reality of the Rapture being but literal moments away, is overwhelming!

Can’t imagine how Elijah/Enoch felt!  Or when Noah was told to close the door of the Ark!

Actually Noah was told to just walk into the ark with his family and with the animals.  And the ark door remained open for 7 days while they waited and ponder how life on planet earth would drastically change forever … before the Lord shut the door.

        Genesis 7

9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

14 They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

16 And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in.

        ———

I see a parallel here between Noah and the rapture … the door in heaven is open for the saved believers and perhaps our pets go up too as we hide out up in heaven … and will it take 7 days before God’s wrath is poured upon the earth for 7 years?  Or do we get a 7 day warning prior to the rapture event?

Revelation 4:1  After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

        Revelation 5

        11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

        Genesis 7:15

And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life. ;-)    Where God is … is the breath of life … for Noah and family and animals … it was inside the ark …. And for us … our shelter place for hiding while judgment falls on this world … is safety in heaven wherein is the breath of life.

        Psalm 36:6

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains; Your judgments are like the deepest sea. O LORD, You preserve man and beast.

(Preserve means to keep from decay)

Thinking more about the 7 day wait period before the Lord closed the ark door … think about ALL the animals, birds, everything that creepeth came into the ark … God made a Covenant with Noah and with the animal/birds, etc.

Noah didn’t have to search and round up these animals … instead God brought them to him … Noah must have been amazed to see all these wild animals arrive in an orderly fashion … and perhaps it took 7 days to get them all settled into their cubby holes and play pens and perhaps busy even feeding them or did many go into hibernation (deep sleep)?   I wonder what was the last animal or insect to board … was it the turtles and snails or the ants and the slugs

      Genesis 6

18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons’ wives with thee.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
