Chinese City Paying $73 a Month to Families for Having Third Child:

A city in China will start to pay a monthly subsidy to families that decide to have a third child in an effort to reverse the country’s catastrophic birth rate, according to a report published by China’s state-run newspaper Global Times on Sunday.

The Global Times reported that the city of Shenyang, located in the northeast province of Liaoning, will offer a subsidy of 500 yuan ($72.96) to local families that have a third child. The monthly subsidy will last until the child reaches 3 years of age.

For decades under the Communist Party, having more than one child per couple was illegal. Between 1980 and 2015, China imposed a draconian “one-child policy” enforced through forced abortions and infanticide. The fervent desire for sons resulted in the mass killing of girl babies for decades; Chinese officials estimate that 400 million people were “prevented” from existing under the policy.

Genocidal dictator Xi Jinping “softened” the policy in 2016, allowing two legal children, and expanded to a “three-child policy” in 2021. The birth rate continued to decline severely following the easing of the one-child policy.

Rather than attributing the failure of the three-child policy to lead to more births to the lack of women of child-bearing age – as so many girl babies were killed – or to a lack of desire to start families under totalitarian communism, the Communist Party largely blames feminism for the phenomenon.

Study: 70% of Suspects Freed from Jail Without Bail Arrested for More Crimes:

In early 2020, amid the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, the California Judicial Council required counties to enforce an “emergency bail schedule” which effectively released thousands of criminal suspects from jail without having to pay bail under the guise of reducing prison overcrowding.

“This program designated that the bail for select crimes was dramatically reduced, many to zero dollars,” county officials state.

The analysis also compared recidivism rates over an 18-month period, finding that 78 percent of suspects released without bail were found to be rearrested for crimes while only 46 percent of those who paid bail were rearrested.

Many of those suspects freed without bail were rearrested for violent crimes including homicide, rape, kidnapping, robbery, carjacking, attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, and domestic violence.

And I’ll bet “they” had to put together an expensive committee to figure that out. 🙄

Exactly, Yohanan! I am sure they did and that the study/research cost them a lot of money.

Record US Credit Card Debt Nearly $1 Trillion as Americans Struggle to Survive Under Joe Biden:

                    ABC News reported:

U.S. consumer credit card debt has jumped to nearly $1 trillion, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said on Thursday.

Credit card balances increased more than $60 billion over the three months ending in December, lifting the total amount of U.S. credit card debt to an all-time high of $986 billion, the report found.

The skyrocketing credit card balance has coincided with an increase in the interest rates paid on such debt, crunching household budgets as high inflation eats away at the savings that many amassed during the pandemic.

Americans are falling behind in Biden’s economy with low-paying jobs, 40-year-high inflation, and a loss in the value of their net assets due to inflation pushing prices to record highs.

As a last resort, Americans turn to their credit cards to get by, hoping they will be able to pay them off next month.  This cycle is maddening for Americans who work hard and can’t seem to get ahead.  Now, they are falling behind.

Steve Cortes was on the War Room where he discussed this record-setting US credit card debt.  Credit card debt is nearly $1 trillion.  Trillion with a “T” in the United States at the highest interest rate ever, above 20%, the average credit card interest rate, the highest ever in the United States.

Cyber Attack on Produce Giant Dole Shuts Down Production Plants in North America:

A cyber attack on produce giant Dole shut down production plants, according to a company memo obtained by CNN.  “Dole Food Company is in the midst of a Cyber Attack and has subsequently shut down our systems throughout North America,” Emanuel Lazopoulos, senior vice president at Dole’s Fresh Vegetables division, said in a February 10 memo to retailers, according to CNN.

The hack, which is being reported as ransomware, led to a shortage of Dole salad kits.

Dole said it contained the threat and “engaged leading third-party cybersecurity experts” to secure its systems.

Retail Collapse: Over 800 Big Stores Set to Close Due to Inflation, Crime, Interest Rates:

Retail stores have been in trouble since the beginning of the pandemic, but now the issue is coming into hard focus.  Over 800 large stores are set for closure in various parts of the country.

Inflation means people have less money to spend. Combine that with the issue of rampant crime and rising interest rates and you have a recipe for disaster.

The retail world continues its downward spiral, as holiday sales failed to meet expectations and wary consumers are keeping their wallets in their pockets due to rampant inflation and soaring interest rates.

The end result: over 800 big-box stores are slated to shut down across the country in 2023.  Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Gap, and Party City are among the big names that will be downsizing.

Bath & Beyond, which narrowly escaped bankruptcy proceedings earlier this month, is the biggest loser, aiming to cut its number of stores to 480 when it once had over 1,500 locations.  At least 416 stores have been identified for closure, along with all 65 of its locations in Canada. Thirty-five will close in California alone…

[part of a much longer,  wide-ranging article]

Pope Francis Calls on Humanity to Unite Around One World Religion:

Pope Francis has once again called for all of humanity to unite around a one-world religion.  Both in his ecumenical “pilgrimage of peace” and in his message for the International Day of Human Fraternity, the pope recently called for religions to “increasingly intertwine” in the “service of brotherhood.”

LifeSite News reports that over the past few days, Francis has once more renewed his oft-spoken calls for increased interreligious dialogue and activity, reawakening concerns that leading prelates have made in the wake of such statements over the years.

The first came during his recorded February 4 video message for the third International Day of Human Fraternity, which is born out of his 2019 Abu Dhabi document on human fraternity – a document which stated that a “pluralism and diversity” of religions is “willed by God.”

His statement mentioned God, but did not mention Christ or Catholicism. Instead, Francis spoke in a much more abstract manner, describing the purpose of religion as “reminding us that man’s destiny goes beyond earthly goods and lies in a universal horizon.”

Francis is a member of the Society of Jesus, also called the Jesuits, and is also the first Jesuit pope in history. Jesuits have for decades been steeped in revolutionary Marxist teaching, and a focus on social justice and liberation theology here on earth, rather than winning souls for Christ or preparing people for life in the hereafter.

James Comer Investigating Taxpayer Funds Granted to Blacklist Conservative Media:

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) on Thursday launched a probe into reports that taxpayer dollars administered by the State Department were granted to the Global Disinformation Index (GDI), an organization that seeks to demonetize conservative news outlets.

GDI has recently received $330,000 in taxpayer funds administered by the State Department, according to media reports. Taxpayer funds flowing to GDI are significant because it maintains a media blacklist known as the “Dynamic Exclusion List,” which reportedly flags 39 conservative news outlets as “false/misleading.”

The list is ultimately used by the establishment to discredit conservative news organizations, reduce their ad revenue, and de-platform them. The outlets known to be on the blacklist include Breitbart News, the Blaze, the Washington Times, Judicial Watch, MRC.TV, RealClearPolitics, and the Daily Wire.

In a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Comer requested documents and a briefing on the scope of the State Department’s funds used to backlist conservative news organizations.

“The Committee is disturbed by recent reporting that taxpayer money ended up in the hands of a foreign organization running an advertising blacklist of organizations accused of hosting disinformation on their websites, including several conservative-leaning news organizations,” Comer wrote.

“The federal government should not be censoring free speech nor policing what news outlets Americans choose to consume,” Comer continued. “And taxpayer funds should never be given to third parties with the intent that they be used to censor lawful speech or abridge the freedom of the press.”

“The State Department should not be funding woke organizations who seek to censor and demonetize conservative outlets,” Stefanik stated last week. “House Republicans will assert our oversight over the State Department’s funding of these types of groups.”

Geri, I wanted to expand on your fake meat story.

When peddling his book “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster” in 2021, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates told the MIT Technology Review that “all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference. . . .

Report: Some lab-grown meat pushed by WEF and Bill Gates as a remedy for climate change is made of ‘immortalized’ cancer cells:

. . . .Bloomberg’s recent report underscoring how synthetic meat is, in many cases, cancer.

While lab-grown meat advocates contend their product is, at least on the cellular level, no different from real meat, the report stressed that “normal meat cells don’t just keep dividing forever”; normal cells will only divide a few dozen times.

In order to get the cell cultures to multiply at the rates necessary to keep these doctored meat companies afloat, “several companies, including the Big Three, are quietly using what are called immortalized cells. … Immortalized cells are a staple of medical research, but they are, technically speaking, precancerous and can be, in some cases, fully cancerous.”

These so-called immortal cells — modified to divide forever, thereby “defying the normal limits of growth … mak[ing] them unmistakably more like cancer cells” — are grown in vats called bioreactors, where they ultimately generates tons of “cell mass.”

The report indicated that some cancer researchers have downplayed the risk of consuming this cancerous lab meat, noting that “because the cells aren’t human, it’s essentially impossible for people who eat them to get cancer from them, or for the precancerous or cancerous cells to replicate inside people at all.”

“Despite the informal scientific consensus around the safety of immortalized cells, there just aren’t any long-term health studies to prove it,” he wrote.

This may account for why Upside has investors and reporters who taste the company’s pseudo-chicken sign a “creepy waiver,” which reads, “The cultured meat and related food products in the Tasting are experimental. … The properties are not completely known.”

The hypothetical concerns about “chicken tumors and cancer burgers” may ultimately be discounted by climate alarmists and journalists, but scientists and industry legal teams are evidently reluctant to dismiss them altogether.

Earlier this month I saw a lady at the grocery store with the “Impossible Burger” patties package in her shopping cart.  I said have you ever eaten that before?  She said no.  I then tried to warn her its all made in a lab and it contains toxic chemicals.  She shrugged me off with so what … its “plant base” because it says so on the label … so she thinks its “healthy”. 🙄

I saw some packages at the food bank about 3 weeks ago … this means either the date expired or perhaps there is no expiration date on this 💩   Or customers have tried it and didn’t like and now donated it?

Abortionist turned pro-life doctor affirms killing a baby is ‘never necessary’ to save the mother’s life; ‘Intentional feticide is never necessary even in the worst-case scenarios,’ attests Dr. John Bruchalski:

Another former abortionist turned pro-life doctor is making the case that the most powerful argument for legal abortion, situations in which it is supposedly necessary to save the lives of pregnant women, is a “false flag operation” not rooted in medical fact.

Dr. John Bruchalski is the founder of the pro-life, faith-based medical practice Tepeyac OB/GYN and the nonprofit Divine Mercy Care. He “performed abortions believing he was helping women” during his medical training, but “[a]fter a spiritual awakening, he realized abortion was not achieving freedom, health, and happiness for women. Dr. Bruchalski stopped performing abortions, returned to the faith, and felt God’s call to start a medical practice that truly helped women.”

He cites the example of a “mother’s amniotic sac break[ing] prematurely at 14 weeks,” for which abortion may be presented as an option, but both patients can instead “be treated with antibiotics and close observation and even have a good chance of stabilization. If they make it to 22 weeks or more, the baby has a good chance of survival outside the womb.”

He grants that many circumstances may necessitate delivering a baby before he or she can survive outside the womb or indirectly end the baby’s life, such as chemotherapy or treatment of an ectopic pregnancy, but stresses that such treatments are not abortion; they do not entail direct, intentional violence on the child for the purpose of ending his or her life.

In fact, he stresses, “[e]lective abortions become more dangerous the further along in pregnancy, and that’s when the majority of these health complications arise. Abortions after 24 weeks cause massive fluid shifts, which can push the mom into heart, lung, or kidney failure. If the mother’s life is in immediate danger, a C-section takes one hour. A direct abortion after 24 weeks can take two to three days. The argument cannot be made that an abortion is necessary because it is faster than delivery.”

Bruchalski quotes Dr. Byron Calhoun, a high-risk OB-GYN in West Virginia, who regularly handles such cases and agrees “it is never necessary to kill the baby to save the mother’s life.”

The specter of women dying in childbirth due to being denied abortions is one of abortion activists’ most potent talking points. . . .  They have successfully used such fears to help defeat some pro-life ballot initiatives, despite being unfounded not only medically, but as a matter of law.

Every state with pro-life laws currently on the books explicitly makes exceptions for medical treatment to save the life of a mother, regardless of whether that treatment is classified as abortion. Further, the vast majority of abortions have never been sought for medical reasons, but for social, career, or financial considerations.

In just one day, massive fires broke out at three different facilities in Mexico and one in the United States that are controlled by the state-owned Mexican oil company, Pemex.

On Thursday, three separate fires broke out at Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) facilities, resulting in two workers’ death, at least eight people were injured, and several others missing, Bloomberg reported.

This resulted in increased scrutiny of the safety record of the Mexican state oil firm in advance of its earnings call on Monday.

The fires broke out at the Pemex crude oil storage facility in Veracruz, Mexico, in Maya unit (285,000-barrel-a-day) Minatitlan refinery in Veracruz, and in Deer Creek, Texas.

A Chinese fighter jet came within 500 feet of a Navy plane with CNN and NBC News crew aboard on Friday amid escalating tensions.

The US Navy surveillance plane was flying over the South China Sea in international airspace when a warning came over the radio.

“No approaching any more or you will pay full responsibility,” said a voice from a ground station belonging to China’s air force, NBC News reported.

The NBC News reporter aboard said the Chinese fighter jet got close enough to where she could see the pilots.

U.S. officials said encounters like the one witnessed by NBC News on Friday, though professional, are becoming more frequent as Beijing and Washington step up their campaigns for influence in the Pacific. The strategically important South China Sea is an increasingly prominent stage for the spiraling tensions between the world’s two largest economies, which have clashed over everything from Taiwan to the war in Ukraine.

Recall, a Chinese fighter jet came within 20 feet of American Military Aircraft in December.

Ok, so a Chinese Spy Balloon flies for 5 days over the country, and then a bunch of factory fires happen and an horrible toxic plume spreads chemicals over multiple states from a train derailment. And then then 5 people hired by the train company to measure the air and water die when their plane crashes 3 states away while they were responding to another factory fire at a metal alloy factory? And then 3 oil refineries owned by the same company explode in Mexico and the United States TODAY. Mysterious powder falls to the ground over 2 state region down wind from the the toxic chemical plume in Ohio. Am I being ridiculus for pointing this out?

Biden Regime Is Shooting Cows From Helicopters In New Mexico:

A judge last Wednesday gave the U.S. Forest Service a green light to gun down approximately 150 “unauthorized” cattle from helicopters over a rugged forest in southwestern New Mexico known as the Gila Wilderness.

The judge argued he did “not see a legal prohibition on the operation” and “it would be contrary to the public interest to stop the operation from proceeding.”  Officials closed a large swath of the forest Monday and began the cow slaughter on Thursday. The killing will continue thru Sunday.

Ranchers had sought a delay, pointing out that the culling violated federal regulations and amounted to animal cruelty. They also say the federal government is not telling the truth about the cattle in question.

Property Rights Committee Chair Shad Sullivan says the “cattle in question are descendants of herds that legally grazed on rancher-owned allotments decades ago,” and “estrays may have intermingled with adjacent allotment owners branded and tagged cattle, proving they are domestic livestock,” contrary to the Forest Service’s claim the cattle are “feral.” Sullivan also noted that a fire last year “destroyed over 30 miles of fencing near the aerial gunning operation area.”

He added that the results of last year’s chopper hunt “were in some cases considered grotesque, as some cattle were shot but were not killed,” “calves were left motherless, and mature cattle received injuries that prolonged suffering, leading to an inevitable death and leaving carcasses strewn about the land and in waterways.”

Beyond the cruelty Sullivan accused the U.S. Forest Service of employing, he said a larger issue “may be the unchecked power by unelected bureaucrats within governmental agencies setting a precedent for how federal officials handle authority” and the fact that area cattle ranchers are “contending that the USFS isn’t abiding by its own regulations.”

Sullivan further cited “pressure from environmental groups” as weighing on the Forest Service’s decision to use helicopter hunters to put down the cattle.

Just a reminder, U.S. taxpayer money is being used to fund this animal cruelty. Yet there is not a peep from so-called major “animal welfare” groups such as PETA.

[I think someone posted something about this sugar substitute before, but this article really hit me, and my favorite drink has stevia in it.  Now I find that Truvia and Stevia are not exactly the same.]

Sugar substitute linked to heart attacks, stroke, death; ‘stay away,’ lead researcher advises:

Erythritol, a popular zero-calorie sugar substitute, has been linked to blood clotting, stroke, heart attack, and death, according to a study published online in Nature Medicine journal Monday.

The study found that people already at risk for heart disease had double the likelihood of having a heart attack or a stroke if they had the highest level of erythritol in their blood, CNN reported.  “It’s on par with the strongest of cardiac risk factors, like diabetes,” Hazen told CNN. Hazen was referring to people who had blood levels of erythritol in the top 25% of the study group.

The bulk sweetener appears in a number of products, including branded sweeteners like Truvia, products marketed for “keto” diets, and reduced-sugar products marketed to people who have diabetes.

Truvia is marketed as a natural product because of its origins in the stevia plant, but it is removed from its roots by several refinements. It also has added ingredients, including erythritol (a sugar alcohol) and natural flavoring.

Japan won’t rule out sending aid to North Korea in return for abductees:

Japan will not rule out the possibility of providing humanitarian aid to North Korea if the move is judged to be effective in negotiating the return of all of its citizens who were abducted by Pyongyang in the 1970s and 1980s, the top government spokesman said Monday.

Many of the abductees and their family members have grown old since the victims were kidnapped by North Korea decades ago.

The groups said their members would visit the United States in May to call on the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden to lend support for the realization of a summit between Japan and North Korea.

Chick-fil-A Rolls Out New Rule After Out-of-Control Behavior at Restaurant:

A Pennsylvania Chick-fil-A has laid down the law after disruptive behavior from young customers reached the breaking point.

“[T]o dine in our restaurant, anyone under the age of 16 is required to be accompanied by an adult. If not accompanied by an adult, they may come in to purchase food, but must take it to go,” the Chick-fil-A in Royersford, Pennsylvania, posted Wednesday on Facebook.

The post shared a litany of problems experienced on Saturdays and days when students are not in school, which are days children and teens come to the restaurant without their parents.

“Volume. They are loud, and their conversation often contains a lot of explicit language. We are a family friendly restaurant where this is not tolerated,” the post said.

“Mistreatment of property. Food and trash are often thrown around and left on the tables, chairs, and on the floor. Tables and restrooms are vandalized. Decorations are stolen,” the post said.

“Employees are laughed at, made fun of and treated rudely. Employees are cursed at and ignored when they ask the children and teens to either change their behavior or leave,” the post said, adding that  “Unsafe behaviors also occur walking through the parking lot and drive-thru lanes.”

“You know a culture is in serious decline when a local Chick-Fil-A has to beg parents to require their children to act in a way that is compatible with the basic decency required in a functioning society. This reads like a homily on the fall of Western civilization,” Twitter user Megan Brock posted.

“In previous generations, 16-year-olds lied about their age so they could go to war on behalf of their county. Now they can’t be trusted to eat at a Chick-Fil-A without an adult. How far we have fallen,” she posted.

I’ve never been to a Chick-fil-a … I heard nothing but good things about their food.  I wish there was one in my area to try.

These unruly young kids/teens don’t know how good they have it and yet they misbehave and destroy property.

I have changed my view about all the children/teens would be rescued out with us at the time of the rapture … I’m leaning more that many will get left behind.  The rapture is for believers only and the innocent that don’t know right from wrong.  Most kids today love the devil’s music, are disrespectful  to their parents and authority and sadly I see more public schools now added satanic clubs … so my take is most kids will probably join them if they haven’t already.

These verses describe tribulation life within the family household … if all the non believer children/teens were raptured … it would take 7 years to have this scenario and I think it happens way before the end of the tribulation timeframe.

                                                            Matt 10:21

And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

                                                            Luke 12:53

The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Report: Vatican ‘Never This Marginalized’ in Past 60 Years:

ROME — The Vatican risks falling into isolation and irrelevance, warns a veteran Italian journalist Tuesday, as world leaders are finding Pope Francis easier and easier to ignore.

By contrast, during the Cuban missile crisis, both Kennedy and Khrushchev sought Vatican mediation, Politi asserts, and even during the Obama presidency, “Washington found it convenient to smooth relations with Havana through the Vatican.”

Perhaps Francis’ prolific appeals for peace and incessant calls for streamlined international migration, dramatically reduced carbon emissions, and a hyper-regulated economy have squandered his moral capital.

The Vatican’s evolution into an echo chamber of progressive causes may have rendered its message less prophetic and easier to tune out, and as more than one cynic has suggested, maybe this is what Francis intended all along.

Isn’t she supposed to support alternative and green forms of energy like this? Isn’t this what she has been demanding for years now?

One almost gets the sense that she is more interested in protesting than the issue of climate change which she claims to care so much about.

Dozens of activists, including Greta Thunberg of neighboring Sweden, blocked the entrance to Norway’s energy ministry in Oslo Monday to protest a wind farm they say hinders the rights of the Sami Indigenous people to raise reindeer in Arctic Norway. The activists, mainly teenagers, lay outside the ministry entrance holding Sami flags and a poster reading “Land Back.”

The agency will not release 2021 data until later this year.

For now, it’s more of a familiar process of psychological manipulation. Get us acquainted with the general idea of food scarcity so that we’re well-primed when the planned reality is unrolled.

We were given the same treatment with words like “lockdown” and “pandemic”, “mandate” and “denier.” Nudge, nudge. Rationing is a word from our parents’ and grandparents’ generation, a bit like “War in Europe” and “Fascist” and now they’re back in fashion once more. Rationing, I ask you, while the landfills swell with fresh food dumped every day.

Who do these people think they are blatantly creating and then ignoring hardship, enacting policies to wreck livelihoods, economies, and the wellbeing of millions,  and then standing by while real people suffer the consequences of their vainglorious, self-serving nonsense disguised by propaganda shaped only to distract?

I said at the top we were being familiarised with rationing and making do. There’s a glaring paradox in all this. At the same time as being nudged into thinking we must do without we are simultaneously drowning in surplus of every sort.

We have centuries of affordable energy under our feet and yet we are bullied into a false reality in which fewer and fewer people can afford to heat their homes or put fuel in their cars and vans. Every year we bulldoze billions of pounds worth of food into landfills while now being told to do without erstwhile familiar foodstuffs.

If food is at a premium, reaching a point where rationing might be required, why are we paying farmers to get out of the business altogether and sell off their land to transnational corporations for God alone knows what purpose?

The news comes amid a crisis at parent SVB Financial Group SIVB, which lost a record 60% of its value on Thursday after it disclosed large losses from securities sales and announced a dilutive stock offering along with a profit warning. The FDIC said all insured depositors will have full access to their accounts no later than Monday morning. Uninsured depositors will get a receivership certificate and may be entitled to dividends once the FDIC sells the bank’s assets.

The prince of the air also knows scripture and though he cannot discern scripture or the seasons as directed by God, he knows there is a timeframe that the Bride of Christ will be removed and he is prepared to “complete” (in his evil mind) the destruction of humanity.  He did not truly know that Jesus was the Christ (although he heard it), he did not understand the plan of the cross by the Trinity and when he figured it out (too late – Herod’s wife). His world literally got rocked. He lost, so his game plan changed, destroy humanity, keep them from seeing Jesus  as seen in 2 Cor. 4:4 “In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.”

Pope Francis reiterated his opposition to transgenderism on Friday, warning that it’s a “dangerous ideology” and arguing that its proponents are naïve if they believe they’re on the “path to progress.”

“Gender ideology, today, is one of the most dangerous ideological colonizations,” the pope said in an interview to Argentina’s La Nacion newspaper. “Why is it dangerous? Because it blurs differences and the value of men and women.”

The pontiff has repeatedly spoken out against gender theory over the years, even as he has emphasized the need to be welcoming and provide pastoral care for transgender people. For instance, he has likened gender ideology to nuclear arms and genetic manipulation, and he has warned that it’s part of a “global war” against marriage and the family.

He has frequently used the term “ideological colonization” in reference to cases in which influential organizations and governments require developing countries to accept abortion, contraception and Western values before they can receive aid money. For example, he lamented to Catholic bishops in 2016 that schoolchildren were being taught that they can choose their gender. “Why are they teaching this? Because the books are provided by the people and institutions that give you money.”

The pope told La Nacion that transgenderism ignores inescapable differences between men and women. “All humanity is the tension of differences,” he said. “It is to grow through the tension of differences. The question of gender is diluting the differences and making the world the same – all dull, all alike, and that is contrary to the human vocation.”

The Congregation for Catholic Education, the Vatican office that provides official guidance to Catholic schools, issued a document in June 2019 dismissing gender ideology as “nothing more than a confused concept of freedom in the realm of feelings and wants.” It added that such theories seek to “annihilate the concept of nature.”

SVB had branches in Canada, the UK, China, Denmark, Germany, India, Israel and Sweden, and the scenes coming out of California are just the beginning.

The fallout from the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank is beginning to spread around the world.

Startup founders in California’s Bay Area are panicking about access to money and paying employees. Fears of contagion have reached Canada, where the bank’s loan book has doubled in the past year. SVB’s unit in the UK is set to be declared insolvent, has already ceased trading and is no longer taking new customers. On Saturday, the leaders of roughly 180 tech companies sent a letter calling on UK Chancellor Jeremy Hunt to intervene.

“The loss of deposits has the potential to cripple the sector and set the ecosystem back 20 years,” they said in the letter seen by Bloomberg. “Many businesses will be sent into involuntary liquidation overnight.”

Regarding the Silicon Valley Banking collapse and connection to trying to bring down the Israeli govt of Netanyahu and prevent him from reining in the judiciary ;-)

She said  I think it might point to one of the spiritual aspects of this banking collapse and where we are on the timeline towards the tribulation.

Preparing for the switch to digital. Create a crisis– never let a crisis go to waste and then provide a “solution” to herd the people where you want them to go.

It’s dominoes right now. One falls, putting pressure on others who fall and the ripples spread outwards.

I’m going to mention an interesting connection to the apple of God’s eye– Israel right at ground zero for this banking collapse.

George (her husband) remembered hearing how the leftist wokesters in ISRAEL were putting pressure on the high tech companies to pull out of investments in Israel. a lot listened and transferred to Silicon Valley Bank that failed first.

The wokesters in question were in Israel, part of the leftist protests against judicial reform. They are trying to bring down the Israeli govt of Netanyahu and prevent him from reining in the judiciary which is unelected, and supposed to uphold the laws, not rule the country.

They didn’t care if it destroyed the Israeli economy in the process. They are so keen to destroy Netanyahu that consequences didn’t even cross their tiny brains.

They are acting like the BDS movement elsewhere. They are leftists and acting against Israel. They persuaded many to put their money elsewhere. The elsewhere happened to be SVB. The rest is history. That was ground zero.

Here is a quote on March 10th from the source George (her husband) listened to on Telegram:  “The leaders of the protest againgst the judicial reforms in Israel called for high tech companies to take their money out of Israel because of the “dangerous situation” the country will be in once the reform is implemented. Many listened and transferred their money to the Silicon Valley Bank.

that was sent out on the day that SVB collapsed, March 10.

Actions have consequences. SVB went along with the wokester agenda and were glad to take funds out of Israeli high tech business in the face of a “threat” that the wokesters delivered. They might have survived a little longer if they hadn’t possibly been poking God in the apple of His eye.

If you’ve been to your local butcher or checked out the meat section in a supermarket, you’re aware that beef prices are still high, and in some instances, are continuing to rise.

Readers have been well informed about “beeflation” and why it’s happening.

Due to the continued scarcity of beef cattle supplies, there appears to be no relief in sight, and as a result, cash markets have risen this week to $165 per 100 pounds – the highest level since the record peaks of 2014. At this point nine years ago, ranchers resorted to reducing their herds to combat the high feed prices and drought.

As we noted the other day, “Americans need to be prepared to eat a lot less beef, because the size of the national cattle herd is steadily shrinking.”

According to the latest report from the USDA, the number of beef cows in this country has fallen to the lowest level since 1962…

Don Roose, the founder of US Commodities, a grain and livestock investment and management firm, recently warned:  “We’re still in the contraction phase.”  “It takes a long time to build a herd back up again.”

Democrats are keeping their pro-abortion momentum going in the state following Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signing of 15 bills last year, which the report euphemistically dubbed “reproductive health bills.” The state also voted in November to codify abortion on demand into the California Constitution by passing Proposition 1. The new bills were created with the intent to further “strengthen the state’s abortion infrastructure” for state residents, as well as for women coming from out-of-state for abortions, according to the report.

I can’t help but wonder if this is the reason California is being pounded with these terrible storms?!

There is a growing subculture to which many young women now belong called “tradwives.”

While some adherents glamorize and glorify feminine aesthetics and pop culture idealizations of post-World War II nuclear families, the movement — greatly amplified on TikTok and on other social media platforms in recent months — largely consists of individual efforts to reassert matriarchal dominion over the domestic realm.

According to CNN’s “culture writer” Harmeet Kaur, the young women who have chosen this lifestyle long denigrated in the media “sneer at what they consider to be modern-day feminism, with its girlbosses and its ungratifying grind, and wax lyrical about the value of traditional gender roles … sometimes evoking fundamentalist Christian principles in their beliefs.”

“As tradwives showcase their idyllic, domesticated lives on social media, implicit is the message that today’s women and girls are being ‘red pilled’ by the feminist movements that promise to liberate them – and that true security and fulfillment can be achieved by reverting to certain norms of the past,” added Kaur.

While Vice and other publications may regard tradwifery as a Trojan horse for extremism, if Reno is right, it could very well be a defense against it.

Heartbeat may shape our perception of time, study shows:

It is a truism that time seems to expand or contract depending on our circumstances: In a state of terror, seconds can stretch. A day spent in solitude can drag. When we’re trying to meet a deadline, hours race by.

A study published this month in the journal Psychophysiology by psychologists at Cornell University found that, when observed at the level of microseconds, some of these distortions could be driven by heartbeats, whose length is variable from moment to moment.

Psychologists fitted undergraduates with electrocardiograms to measure the length of each heartbeat precisely, and then asked them to estimate the length of brief audio tones. The psychologists discovered that after a longer heartbeat interval, subjects tended to perceive the tone as longer; shorter intervals led subjects to assess the tone as shorter.

Interest in the perception of time has exploded since the COVID-19 pandemic, when activity outside the home came to an abrupt halt for many and people worldwide found themselves facing stretches of undifferentiated time.

A study of time perception conducted during the first year of the lockdown in Britain found that 80% of participants reported distortions in time, in different directions. On average, older, more socially isolated people reported that time slowed, and younger, more active people reported that it sped up.

The new Cornell study addresses something different: how we perceive the passage of microseconds. Understanding those mechanisms may help us to manage trauma, in which instantaneous experiences are remembered as drawn out, Ogden said.

When trying to assess the importance of an experience, she said, “our brain just looks back and says, Well, how many memories did we make?” She added, “When you have this really rich memory, richer than you would normally get in a 15-minute period of your life, that’s going to trick you into thinking that it was long.”

Adam K. Anderson, a professor of psychology at Cornell and a co-author of the new study said, “Time is a resource.” “If the body was a battery, or a gas tank, it’s trying in the moment to say, How much energy do we have? We’re going to make things seem shorter or longer in terms of time based on how much bodily energy we have.”

Japan’s first piloted flying taxi test held ahead of 2025 Expo:

An air taxi service set to feature at the 2025 Osaka Expo was tested in a park in the city on Tuesday, in what the prefectural government says is the first time in the country one of the craft has been piloted from the cockpit.

Japan plans for the “flying cars” to be among the expo’s main attractions, with the vehicles expected to provide access to the event venue planned to be set up on an artificial island in Osaka Bay.

The test in Osaka Castle Park centered on services to be provided by trading firm Marubeni, one of the five companies selected to operate the flying taxis. It used a U.S.-made, single-seater craft different from the vehicles expected to be deployed for the 184-day event in 2025.

In the test, the craft ascended straight up into the air, lifted by its multiple propellers about 10 seconds after activation. While hovering about eight meters above ground, it moved backward, forward, left and right and spun around multiple times before landing.

Kumagai, who underwent training in the United States for the flight, said afterward that it had felt “like using a games console.”

“I think the issue now isn’t the technology, but that the big challenges ahead are Japanese regulations and residents’ feelings” about safety.  . . . the prefectural government is working to reduce noise pollution.

That’s actual coinage. Is it possible that the Lord holds back digital currency until after the rapture? Just a thought. What do you think…

Beginning or Mid Point of the tribulation?

Those folks casting their gold into the streets could be hoarders or investors or elites who thought they were beating the system.  By the way, the Fed is trying to say FedNow is not a CBDC.  Call it what you will.  They have to have a way to ensure that no one may buy or sell, when the time comes.

                                                                                                                                    12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

                                                                                                                                    15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Brits skipping meals to cope with soaring costs:

As the cost-of-living crisis impacts British households, many are cutting down on food while living in cold homes, according to the latest findings from the ‘Which?’ consumer insight tracker.

The monthly survey commissioned by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) revealed that 8.1% of households missed a housing, bill, loan, or credit card payment in February. One in seven people (15%) said they had skipped meals due to rising costs.

Just over a quarter (27%) said they had gone without some foods, up from 21% in November. Meanwhile, 9% had prioritized meals for other family members above themselves, and 4% had used a food bank.

Consumers have also been looking for ways to save on their energy bills, with seven out of ten (72%) saying they have turned down the heating due to spiraling costs, while 39% having used less hot water and 19% having had fewer cooked meals.

Oh I can relate … food is so expensive in the grocery stores in my town.  I have to drive 48 miles round trip to super Walmart and most things there are dirt cheap in comparison.

I urge everyone to check into their local food bank.  Most people qualify and don’t even realize it.  Even if you’re retired and getting a pension.  I know a married couple who are getting 2 pensions and/or working part time and they still qualified.   I accidentally found out about it last year while going to pay my water bill and the guy said are you here for the food bank because he was going to give me a number and a grocery wish list to complete.  And if you need something that is not on that list … you write it down and if they have it in stock, they will give it to you as well.    I said no I’m not signed up.  Would I qualify?  And sure enough I did.   I regret not knowing about it sooner.  I no longer buy eggs … they been consistently handing them out each week.  Besides all the generous food handouts.  They give out grocery gift cards worth $25.00 but the last one I received the store upped them to $50.00.  They also hand out gasoline cards valued at $35.00.  All this helps.  Each week the back on my vehicle is filled with food and necessity items (toilet paper, hand soap, tooth paste, cooking oil, etc.).  Those that have babies and toddlers they give them diapers, toys, clothing.  Its amazing.  Its like trick or treating when you go … between the donations from the local stores and businesses to the donations from the wealthy people.  Its kind of like going to a Goodwill store but everything is free. 😆

Besides the once a week handout … there is also a once a month drive thru handout for EVERYONE (I see some out of stater license plates in that line)  but most people don’t know about it.  No questions asked other than how many in your family.  And then you open the back end of your trunk and they place the items there.  This one lady normally hands me 2 dozen eggs thru the driver side window, sometimes I get 3 dozen and these are my favorite brand of eggs .. and I will share them with my family if they are in the area.  I’ve seen them give certain people a whole box  containing 12 dozen😆 … I think they either have a bed and breakfast or a restaurant.  Each month its fun watching what the hot items are going to be … chips/pretzels bags, sodas, case of bottled brewed ice teas, case of bottled water, 4 frozen DiGiorno pizzas, 6 pork tender loins, 2 bottles of organic milk, 2 cases 24 small containers of organic yogurt, pint size ice creams – last month it was 8 pint sizes of frobert, this week it was 2 pint size Ben & Jerry’s.  But the next day, this Tuesday … my power went off from the snow storm and didn’t turn back on until Thursday morning … so I lost most of my food in refrig/freezer.    Here’s the eggs I was trying to save … but it was too late … I should of put outside sooner.

Thursday morning when it was 25 degrees, went out to the car to recharge my cell phone and to warm up … brought my dog with me.  He was shivering and showing his teeth.  Then 5 minutes later … the heated seats finally got warm and made him sleepy.  😆

So thankful to have power restored and the heat turned back on.
