Tom if some of you remember, has been struggling with throat cancer for about 1 and 1/2 years.  He has just been admitted into full time hospice care.

He is resigned to meet the Lord soon.  My prayer is the Lord’s will be done, and the Lord send him ministering Angel’s.  He so loved the Lord and has been watching for the Rapture eagerly!  His request was to keep his trials private, but I feel the time has come to share with the Ritan family!  We have been best friends for the better part of 14 years.  TR

Thanks, TR.  Perhaps the Lord may yet take Tom in the Rapture.  I pray his pain is minimized and that the Lord has mercy on him.  I’m sorry for your own immanent loss too.

That’s always toughest on those left here to wade thru this mire and wait to see cherished friends and family again. Abba give Tom your peace, take his pain and suffering under your wings, open your arms to receive your beloved. OH, and Father, can you let Tom, who has watched for you for decades, see TR and the RITAN family as we meet with him in the air soon, that will certainly bless him. Thank you, in the Holy name of Yehweh Elohim! :prayer-hands:

:prayer-hands:  He will be pain free and for Divine healing and that he can experience the rapture as the “alive and remain” group.

I am sorry to hear that Tom’s struggles have come to this. I, and all of us, hoped the rapture would prevent any more “skipping ahead in line” by our loved ones, and still hope that will be the case in this situation. But by the time you get to hospice care, to die is gain becomes far more understandable for those of us who have such a glorious hope in our Savior. And he’ll get to give Robert and all our other friends who have gotten to see Christ before we have.  We grieve in our flesh, and rejoice in our spirit. And ask that the Lord God, Prince of Peace, and Lover of our Souls will encompass Tom and his extended family and loved ones with His peace, His joy and His grace in all ways and at all times. Graduation day is coming, then the Holy days.

Very sorry to hear this news.  Praying for Tom’s comfort and for the will of the Lord to be done.  I hate death and cannot wait until it is destroyed as the last enemy (1 Cor 15:26).  May the Lord use this difficult time to draw those around Tom to Himself and challenge them with their own mortality & need for a Savior.

And may He comfort you, TR, as you grieve the living loss of your friend.  Not that it lessens the pain, but many of us do not have another human being whom we can call a best friend, so in that sense you have been truly blessed.  Grace and peace to you from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.  Soon we will all be getting bodily upgrades!  Maranatha!!!

A couple of days ago Tom came to my mind for some reason, I just blessed him in the name of Jesus without knowing what was going on. Now I know it was the Holy Spirit. Tom, if you can’t wait then go ahead. We will all see you there SOON.

He has been a dear brother and mentor in the Lord! Once you looked beyond his faults, there was a man who loved God.  Indeed my prayer is that we all enter Heaven’s gates together!  In all, may the Lord be glorified!  TR

Comfort,  blessings and Peace for Tom,  his family and for you TR.  My sympathies in this difficult time.

It’s tough to lose a friend,  even temporarily. Thankfully,  our Best Friend has ensured that that us, as believers, will enjoy Him and fellowship with each other for eternity. :)

I am really sorry to hear this, yet I rejoice that he is in Christ.  Tom is such a faithful man, and very much loved by us here.

I will be praying for him and may we all be home soon to celebrate together.

Tom loves the Lord and he truly loves RITAN.  I remember him as a ‘founding father” of RITAN and he put so much time and energy into telling others of Jesus’ soon return.

I have met 2 of RITAN’s memebers face to face.  Tom and you, TR, were the two.  I remember our visit so fondly and was so grateful to get to meet you both.  I plan on a nice long visit with you two after the rapture.

I know how Tom loves the Blessed Hope and I do pray that he will not see death but will be transformed.  But either way, he will be a part of the rapture.  I pray for my friend.  He was always so good to me.

What can I say that has not already been said by Brothers and Sisters who know Tom better than I. I am very new to this forum but may I offer this awesome verse in scripture. I chose it for my Fathers funeral last year because it said to me that if God is happy at my Dad’s journey to heaven, notwithstanding the sadness of the temporary separation, then shouldn’t I rejoice in that too !

“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints”. (Psalm 116:15)

Tom came to my mind a few days ago… Now I know why. I always admired Tom’s beautiful photography. I pray that our Lord will give him comfort, reassurance, and great anticipation even as he faces this difficult time with his health.

I believe one of the shortest verses in the bible is Joh 11:35  Jesus wept. I am so sorry to hear this news but soon our sorrow will be turned into joy .When we moved over to Facebook RITAN Tom was one of the first friends to add me . He was very helpful at times in explaining how to do something on Facebook and when I just couldn’t figure out how to save a picture or a article he was kind enough to send it to me and save me from the frustration of trying to figure out how . I drove through Spokane many times . I called it Gods country because during the summer it was such a beautiful place and during the winter I prayed a lot in my truck trying to drive through the snow . For a long time Tom’s picture om RITAN was of a man looking thru binoculars searching and now he will soon see what we are all looking for. In the old days before a body of troops would move out we sent out a scout ahead of the main group . I would like to think that Tom is our point man and soon we will be following . Thank you Jesus for sharing Tom with us . He has been a blessing to our group and soon we look foreword to a reunion will all of thous who have gone on before us :bible

Praying for Tom, and all other brothers and sisters out there who are in physical, emotional, or spiritual pain.

May Jesus hold you and calm you in His arms, bring relief to your anguished heart with His gentleness, and provide you with sufficient hope through His Love until He comes.+

God, please come and get us now!!!

      Amen

Your little, teeny-weenie, and humbly irrelevant prayer warrior,

      Humbly

I am very sorry to hear this and of his suffering but jealous that he will be with Jesus before me. Tom is a very gifted photographer and I will definitely miss seeing his pictures. May the Lord be merciful to him in these difficult days. Better yet, may the Lord return even now! Awhile back he had mentioned that he would be spending less time n the forum because he was donating his time to help build a large community garden for the elderly. I thought that was so wonderful. It speaks of his compassion for others and a life lived for the Lord.

I remember Tom insists Pentecost on Sunday, while I believe Pentecost is 50 days from Nisan 16. Tom is correct. I was wrong. He is one step in front of us to taste the heaven, but we shall catch up soon.
