Dear TR and all,
Thanks for remembering me. I just got an e-mail that my lumpectomy is finally scheduled for Monday, Feb. 13th. There were so many delays that I had to have the EKG and all the tests done a second time. It will be inconvenient, but I expect everything to go well. It is not cancer. Thanks for your prayers!
And I have not forgotten you either and pray for you every single day. How are you doing?

Dear everyone, Thanks so much for all your prayers!
I had the operation this morning and all seems to be ok. Just taking Tylenol for the pain (not much). I may still be under the influence of the anesthesia though, in case I write anything weird.

How long was the procedure? Will there be much scarring? TR

Hi TR, They say the procedure itself lasted about an hour. But I had to get to the hospital at 7:30 am and left around 3 pm. I don’t know about scarring. I am very bound up with bandages that can’t be taken off for a while.
