So,  the 4th Industrial Revolution is being trumpeted by the World Economic Forum,  the same goons who are talking about the “Great Reset. ”

This quote here is particularly chilling:

“ONE OF THE THINGS I THINK IS SO ESSENTIAL IN A FREE AND OPEN SOCIETY, IS THIS FREEDOM OF THOUGHT. UP UNTIL NOW, THE CONVERSATION THAT WE’VE BEEN HAVING HAS BEEN AROUND FREEDOM OF SPEECH. ONCE WE CAN ACCESS PEOPLE’S THOUGHTS, AND ACCESS PEOPLE’S EMOTIONS, WE HAVE TO CREATE A SPACE THAT ENABLES PEOPLE TO THINK FREELY, TO THINK DIVERGENT THOUGHTS, TO THINK CREATIVE THOUGHTS.”

Uhhh… Access people’s thoughts and emotions? Wow!

Not to mention creating a space for people to think freely?  Perhaps they need a 6 foot rule to operate their mind reading devices?

Scary stuff.  Lord Jesus,  come quickly!
In the end, it all comes down to people and values. We need to shape a future that works for all of us by putting people first and empowering them. In its most pessimistic, dehumanized form, the Fourth Industrial Revolution may indeed have the potential to “robotize” humanity and thus to deprive us of our heart and soul. But as a complement to the best parts of human nature—creativity, empathy, stewardship—it can also lift humanity into a new collective and moral consciousness based on a shared sense of destiny. It is incumbent on us all to make sure the latter prevails.
I wanted to find out more about the intentions underlying this fourth industrial revolution, as the quote from Now the End Begins was unsourced and could benefit from some context.  Therefore, I found another.  My take on the above is that the author is saying, “Sure, you might lose your soul from all this, but we’ll get you a new one.”  A “new collective and moral consciousness based on a shared sense of destiny.”  Well, what if I don’t want that?  What happens then?  What if my destiny isn’t what the New World Order finds acceptable?  They’ll make sure their vision prevails?  I have a pretty good idea how that works out, and it’s never been pretty throughout history.

Behind all the starry-eyed rhetoric in the quote is a veiled threat:  Get with our program or be eliminated.
