THE ETERNAL SECURITY OF THE CHURCH AGE BELIEVER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US:
. . ~ ~ Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, we are looking at the amazing action that God performed on the day we got saved.
In one, fell swoop, you were judged, found guilty, sentenced to an eternity in Hell, had your ransom paid in full, pardoned, and set free in Jesus Christ.
As if all that was not enough, God then directed the Holy Spirit to seal you in with an unbreakable seal that lasts until the day you are raptured on Flight #777, or you die and He takes you home that way.
This is the blessing of salvation in the Church Age, but it did not exist before, and it will not exist after the Church Age comes to an end.
Tribulation saints will have to have faith in Jesus Christ, but they will also be required to do the ‘works’ of not taking the Mark of the Beast, and not worshipping the name, number or image of the Antichrist.
When we realize they have to do all that while at the same time do battle with the ‘strong delusion’, that’s a tall order! A good, old fashioned dose of rightly dividing, and we will come away from it with an increased faith and better understanding of the bible doctrine of eternal security.

Your post reminded of this old song
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills,
The wealth in every mine;
He owns the rivers and the rocks and rills,
The sun and stars that shine.
Wonderful riches, more than tongue can tell –
He is my Father so they’re mine as well;
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills –
I know that He will care for me.
Psalm 50:10 “For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.”

7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
The universe is incredibly huge. That’s a lot to inherit! There are estimated to be 100 – 200 billion galaxies. Would you like to inherit a whole galaxy or two?
Yet, best of all, God is our God and we are His children. :)

Wow … with the billions of galaxies to visit and explore!
I Peter 1:3-4
He has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you.”
I Corinthians 2:9
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
No wonder Paul couldn’t describe what he saw … surely if he went into great detail we wouldn’t want to be here another minute on planet earth and the Lord’s plan for us right now is to be out witnessing with the Great Commission command. But soon … very soon our jobs will be complete to end the church age!

Arthur, And that’s only in the observable universe we are in now. And each galaxy has hundreds of millions of stars and some galaxies have trillions of stars. So how many planets could there be ?
I wonder how big the universe will be when God creates a new heaven and a new earth Rev 21:1
Sounds like in Isaiah 9:7 it could just keep getting bigger and bigger forever ?
Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end Isaiah 9:7

Yeah! It’s totally mind boggling! I’d love to travel the universe and see the glory of God in full display. His creative power will be even more amazing than the earth and all it’s splendors now.
Purple planets with green skies and golden coloured plants? Why not?
It’s going to be absolutely breathtaking. Our God is soooooooooooo amazing!
I get excited thinking about it. Can you tell? :P

TR Just look at Revelation 21:4&5
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
When God says “Behold, I make all things new” ALL THINGS covers a lot of territory. I can’t wait to be blown away on that day.

Think of all the stars in the universe and different galaxies …
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely.
The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel.
He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.
Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.
The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground.
Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God:
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains.
He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry.
He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man.
The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.
Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.
With that thought … how can we ever doubt God doesn’t care about or is not in control of our personal lives? Even in the midst of our trials, we need to always have a thankful heart because that is the secret to prayers getting answered quickly ….. trust and having a joyful thankful heart to the Lord. Note: He also enjoys when we sing our prayers up to Him too. Find a favorite hymn and put your prayer request words to that hymn.
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

It is incredible to think that God has a name for every star. Wow!

I look at this verse to include the glories of all creation. 1 Corinthians 5:9 “But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him”
Geri, up for some planet hoping in a few decades of time? I promised my grandkids to go, want to join us, should be awesome!

YES would love to join you and your family in space travel adventures. Pondering if there is some monorail train ride, or will it be with horses and chariots, or some type of space ship vehicle like the Jetsons used, or ….
Will we be finding gold, silver and precious stones and have jewelry made out of them? Perhaps there are amusement parks, pools, lakes or ocean to swim, surf, water ski, canoe, kayak or hang glide? Or a place to do artwork and crafts? Or factories to tour and eat candy bars, ice cream/cakes and cookies, cheese/crackers/olives/wine …
