It’s all about oil and gas, it would seem. The King of the North is upset with the King of the South and pretty well everyone else.
I believe that this will be the issue that, at least in part, helps trigger the Gog Magog invasion.
Here is an excellent video on Turkey’s ambition. Caspian Report is run by Shivan who is from Azerbaijan. He does give good insight into Turkey’s mindset and provides a balanced approach, though.
Also answers the question of why France is so interested in Lebanon and rebuilding its port in Beirut.
This video addresses Turkey’s ambition to become a major hub for gas export:

Turkey’s currency, the Lira, has sunk to its lowest level in history. Apparently feuding with France hasn’t helped matters.
ANKARA: The Turkish lira began the week on a record low, falling to 8.0 per dollar on Monday morning, despite repeated state intervention for months.
The currency has lost 86 percent of its value since the financial crisis of 2008. Its decline comes as Turkey continues to antagonize Europe and the US with its foreign policy.
The TRY (Turkish lira) has now lost 26 percent of its dollar value since the start of the year. This all adds to inflation pressure, meaning there is now little chance that inflation will finish the year much below its current level of 11.8 percent — more than twice the Turkish Central Bank’s 5 percent target.”
The country’s worsening economic trends are reflected in other key indicators as well.
Turkey’s state-run statistics institute TUIK, which has been criticized for hiding the real inflation rate, announced that year-on-year inflation was 11.75 percent and that unemployment rose to 13.4 percent in September. The officially stated inflation rate is expected to be four times lower than the real one, according to experts.
Turkey is in big trouble. Their economy is collapsing quickly.
It would really make sense for the Battle of Gog and Magog to happen soon as Turkey is going to collapse in not too much longer.

Woohoo … the hook is in the jaw with the financial collapse.
I’m up in the air about if the church needs to be here to see the G/M war? If so … its a short one … 24 hrs or less and its over since the Lord steps in and puts a stop to it.
I’m leaning that the rapture event will crash the stock market and trigger the worldwide money funds for each country to be worthless as well. So perhaps we do fly out right BEFORE they try to invade for the spoils? Then after the G/M quick war – day or less … the AC rises and introduces the Great Reset plan to wipe out everyone’s financial debt with the electronic bitcoin wireless program and everyone gets the same freebie amount dropped into their banking account … aka the “even Stevens” socialist program. What could possibly go wrong? Oh well … you must take the vaxx and if still alive after that … later take the mark.
All we know is “the many” have to all be signed into the peace agreement party then they will say … have you come to take spoil? So after they all sign the Abrahamic Accords … how many days or hours before … the war breaks out?
Also is the rider on the Red horse associated to the G/M war? If so … then the church hast to be gone much sooner since we see Jesus opening up the seals in heaven and the first rider is the White horse (AC).
Meanwhile are you all singing right now … “I‘ll be home for Christmas 2020 … or will it be Thanksgiving 2020 … or Halloween 2020?”
See ya soon!

The church won’t be here for the Battle of Gog and Magog as God’s Wrath will be poured out on them. We are not appointed to wrath. If Russia is part of the coalition, there would likely be a few Christians in their army. However, if the Rapture happened first, there wouldn’t be any Christians. At, least for a brief window. Therefore, I believe it will happen at the very beginning of the Tribulation.
Judgment on Gog
18 “And it will come to pass at the same time, when Gog comes against the land of Israel,” says the Lord God, “that My fury will show in My face. 19 For in My jealousy and in the fire of My wrath I have spoken: ‘Surely in that day there shall be a great [e]earthquake in the land of Israel, 20 so that the fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all creeping things that creep on the earth, and all men who are on the face of the earth shall shake at My presence. The mountains shall be thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.’ 21 I will call for a sword against Gog throughout all My mountains,” says the Lord God. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother. 22 And I will bring him to judgment with pestilence and bloodshed; I will rain down on him, on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, flooding rain, great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. 23 Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.” ’
Note verse 19 about God’s wrath.

True and then you have the burning of the weapons/military equipment for 7 years … the Jews will be fleeing to Petra mid point so who is going to keep the fires burning … unless they are so hot from the fire and brimstone from heaven it just continues to burn on their own out in the open battlefield?

OK … here is something else that might be symbolic about the quake in Turkey …
Some of the worst damage in Friday’s quake occurred in Izmir, a city of 4.4 million people on Turkey’s Aegean coast that is the country’s third-largest metropolis. 5 hrs ago
And Izmir is not that far from the island of Patmos where John wrote the book of Revelation. Quake was 7.0. Some watchers are saying could the #7 be symbolic not only for the 7 churches … but that the 7 yr trib is about to begin soon … also some are speculating perhaps the quake might have opened a portal in the earth since Pergamos is the seat where satan dwells.
Bergama is a populous district, as well as the center city of the same district, in İzmir Province in western Turkey. The name Bergama, as well as its ancient predecessor Pergamon
– Fair Use –
And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Also while I was reading Revelation chapters 1 -3 today … I just noticed this in verse Rev. 1:10 … do we have a clue that the rapture will occur on the Lord’s Day … Sunday?
I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
If so … then should we only be looking at Sundays as high watch dates since the Resurrection already occurred when John was caught up to heaven … so the Lord’s day got switched from Saturdays to Sundays?
Sunday, Nov 1st – All Saints Day?
Sunday, Nov 15 – Last Super Moon for 2020?

good eye Geri, maybe our blessed hope will turn out to be on a Sunday
the bible does not say that the sabbath day was ever changed, it is still the seventh day, Fri sunset to Sat sunset. the church began meeting on the first day of the week, Sunday, because it was the day that Jesus resurrected.
from that article:
An examination of New Testament passages shows us four important points: 1) Whenever Christ appears in His resurrected form and the day is mentioned, it is always the first day of the week (Matthew 28:1, 9, 10; Mark 16:9; Luke 24:1, 13, 15; John 20:19, 26).
wouldn’t that be something if it turns out to be on a Sunday, the day of the week having been right in front of the church all along in scripture. The 17th day of the second month begins on the 15th of Nov at sunset, on the “creator’s calendar”, to the 16th at sunset; start of the flood day. Genesis 7:11
from earthsky.org – Oct 31
Watch for meteors in the annual Leonid meteor shower from midnight till dawn. In 2020, the new moon on November 15 guarantees darkness (from rural locations) for the next several nights. The peak number of meteors are expected to fall in the dark hours before dawn on Tuesday, November 17. You may see as many as 10 to 15 meteors per hour.

The USA may be finally imposing sanctions on Turkey that could really cripple their economy. Could make them desperate enough to invade Israel and trigger the Gog – Magog War, perhaps.
“The United States is poised to impose sanctions on Turkey over its acquisition last year of Russian S-400 air defense systems, four sources including two U.S. officials told Reuters on Thursday.
The long-anticipated step, which is likely to infuriate Ankara and severely complicate relations with the incoming administration of President-elect Joe Biden, could be announced any day, sources said.
The sanctions would target Turkey’s Presidency of Defence Industries and its head, Ismail Demir, sources have said. Several sources said they were expecting the announcement on Friday but one said it could come any day and perhaps as soon as Thursday.
The Turkish lira weakened following the news. U.S. sanctions could harm a Turkish economy already struggling with a coronavirus-induced slowdown, double-digit inflation and badly depleted foreign reserves.
A senior Turkish official said sanctions would backfire and hurt ties between the two NATO members.
According to Reuters, the U.S. State Department could alter its plans and widen or narrow the scope of planned sanctions against Turkey, a NATO ally for decades.
However, sources said the announcement of the sanctions in their current form was imminent and suggested the United States — after long waiting for Turkey to change course in the face of U.S. warnings about sanctions requirements under the law — was out of patience and finally ready to act.”

The next week will be very interesting to observe. Lot of “potential” wars just ready on the verge of as it where, ready to explode. Even here in the good ole USA, we now have military ships on our two main coastlines and military bases are literally “loading” up. I live in a highly concentrated east coast military area with the now largest Navy carrier base and two Naval air stations, plus Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard bases. Just Four hours from DC, a LOT of air activity from both Navy and Army going overhead.
We shall certainly see the fireworks.
Excited to go to DC this Saturday for the Trump March … taking the Amtrak into Union station, should be very exciting .. I do covet your prayers for the ones of us going, for safety and honoring our Lord as I stand as a Patriot in the fight for our freedom …. course if we fly up tomorrow, that party is over

Turkey under Erdogan is making a lot of enemies.
Iran is now mad at Turkey. Turkey recited a poem basically claiming Iranian provinces were part of Azerbaijan. Iran does have a sizable Azeri minority numbering in the tens of millions.
Suffice to say, this will be one more thing that triggers the infighting between the Gog Magog forces.
“Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif responded to a poem recited by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan “wrongly” claiming that Iranian provinces of Azerbaijan were part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tehran Times reports.
“President Erdogan was not informed that what he ill-recited in Baku refers to the forcible separation of areas north of Aras from Iranian motherland. Didn’t he realize that he was undermining the sovereignty of the Republic of Azerbaijan? NO ONE can talk about OUR beloved Azerbaijan,” Iran’s top diplomat tweeted.”

The US Senate has approved sanctions against Turkey.
“The U.S. Senate has overwhelmingly passed defense bill mandating sanctions against Turkey over its purchase of Russian S-400 missiles.
The Senate passed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) by an 84-13 vote on Friday, defying President Trump’s threat to veto the bill if it does not repeal liability protections for social media companies, Axios reports.
The bill provides for the obligation to impose sanctions under the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) in Turkey within a specific timeframe.
The bill requires the imposition of sanctions within 30 days of the legislation passing. It calls for sanctions on “each person that knowingly engaged in the acquisition of the S-400 air defense system” by Turkey. The bill would allow the president to rescind the sanctions after a year.
Earlier this week, the House passed the bill with an overwhelming majority. “
Also, the USA has secretly blocked any military sales to Turkey for the last 2 years.
It’s nice to see someone standing up to a bully. Now, if only the USA would recognize the Armenian genocide.
Also of note, Trump threatened to veto the bill if liability protections were not removed from social media companies. That is very interesting.

Gog is quite upset with Israel. More bluster and threats from Erdogan.
Vows to destroy Israel, “liberate Al-Aqsa,” and spread anti-Zionist and antisemitic comments have become normal in Turkey.
Turkey has in the last few weeks sought to use media connections abroad to push narratives about how it wants reconciliation with Israel, even as its own media pushes extremist anti-Israel comments. One commentator, according to T24 Turkish media, said that Turkey could “enter Tel Aviv in 48 hours.” He claimed, “we are not like the Arabs,” an apparent reference to the inability of Arab armies to defeat Israel in 1948 and 1967.
The commentary on Turkish television was not abnormal. Hatred of Israel and vows to destroy Israel, invade Jerusalem, “liberate Al-Aqsa” and spread extreme nationalist, anti-Zionist or antisemitic comments have become increasingly normal in Turkey. Most journalists who are critical of the ruling party in Turkey have been silenced, forced to flee the country or imprisoned. Turkey is considered the largest jailor of journalists in the world under the AK Party.

Turkey is furious with the USA because they finally have recognized the Armenian genocide.
A snippet from an article in the Jerusalem Post:
The US decision to finally recognize the Armenian genocide comes after decades in which Turkey and its lobbyists in Washington threatened the US. Their narrative was that if Washington would just use the term “genocide” – for a crime committed 106 years ago by a former government in what is now Turkey – then Ankara would rapidly move to sanction the US, close its bases, threaten its citizens and ally with Iran, China and Russia, or other US enemies.
This bizarre, mafia-like threat is the same one that Tehran used regarding the Iran deal. It is because non-Western countries learned that the way to deal with Western countries was to prey on their fears. For instance, today Pakistan is threatening to expel France’s ambassador because far-right religious extremists in Pakistan claim to be offended by cartoons published years ago in a French magazine.
This will likely push Turkey into the waiting arms of Russia and Iran. Right on schedule for Ezekiel 38.

Speaking about the hook …
Sinkholes fill Turkey’s breadbasket in drought
Raziye Akkoc Thursday, 22 April 2021
Sinkholes wide enough to swallow a bus dot the drought-stricken breadbasket of the Turkish plains, worrying farmers as they spread and creep closer to residential homes.
“The drought situation is getting worse,” said farmer Tahsin Gundogdu, whose harvest includes potatoes he sells to the US food giant PepsiCo.
The 57-year-old has seen the huge holes yawn open in the past 10 to 15 years as the overuse of groundwater for irrigation takes its toll.
Dizzyingly deep, they appear when underground caverns created by drought can no longer contain the weight of the layer of soil above.
This puts farmers in a bind.
Attempts to get water by other means are more expensive, cutting farmers’ incomes. But continued reliance on groundwater will likely make the problem only worse.
Professor Fetullah Arik has counted around 600 sinkholes in the Konya plain, where he heads the Sinkhole Research Centre at the Konya Technical University — nearly double the 350 counted last year.

Turkey’s economy is in the toilet as it is. A drought and subsequent loss of agricultural production could be devastating and lead to widespread unrest. It is hard enough for Turkish farmers as it is with many Arab countries boycotting Turkish goods.
All setting the stage for the Turkey to turn her Sauron like gaze southward. Not only out of greed but also to quell domestic unrest. It’s breathtaking to see how it’s all coming together.

Yeah, it’s all coming together. Erdogan is desperately trying to keep Turkey with its failing economy from collapsing.
He is trying to become the hegemon of the muslim world and lead a pan muslim coalition to attack Israel.
It’s the external enemy trick to try to keep a restive population from rebelling combined with the potential economic gain of taking over Israel. (Not going to happen, of course.)

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tells Russian President Vladimir Putin that the international community should teach Israel a lesson about its conduct toward the Palestinians.
That’s according to the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate, which says the two leaders talked by phone Wednesday about the escalating confrontation sparked by tension over Jerusalem.
The statement says Erdogan stressed the need for “the international community to give Israel a strong and deterrent lesson” and pressed for the United Nations Security Council to rapidly intervene with “determined and clear messages” to Israel. Gaza eventually will become a place for shepherds and sheep. Attacks from there will be permanently stilled by the Lord.
4 Gaza will be abandoned

At midday Ashdod will be emptied
and Ekron uprooted.
5 Woe to you who live by the sea,
you Kerethite people;
the word of the Lord is against you,
Canaan, land of the Philistines.
He says, “I will destroy you,
and none will be left.”
6 The land by the sea will become pastures
having wells for shepherds
and pens for flocks.
7 That land will belong
to the remnant of the people of Judah;
there they will find pasture.
In the evening they will lie down
in the houses of Ashkelon.

It is conceivable the recent exchange of missiles could become a rallying point for the surrounding Arab neighbors to attempt a war with Israel. Not the Gog-Magog level but one such as 1967 and 1973. Psalms 83 comes to mind.

‘Sea snot’ outbreak off Turkish coast poses threat to marine life
NYPost.com June 1, 2021
A thick, slimy layer of so-called “sea snot” is spreading in Turkey’s Sea of Marmara to the south of Istanbul, posing a threat to marine life and the fishing industry.
Scientists say climate change and pollution have contributed to the proliferation of the organic matter, also known as marine mucilage, which contains a wide variety of microorganisms and can flourish when nutrient-rich sewage flows into seawater.
Drone footage shot over the Sea of Marmara shows ferries and cargo ships criss-crossing harbours and seawater blanketed with the viscous, greyish substance that can suffocate marine life.
“The Sea of Marmara’s plight is the outcome of what humans did. This is the outcome of household waste and pollution,” said filmmaker Tahsin Ceylan, who is making a documentary about the impact of the sea snot.
The only thing to do is not to throw your waste into the sea,” he said. “I think nature does not deserve this.”
Experts linked the increasing amount of sea snot to high sea temperatures stemming from climate change as well as the discharge of untreated sewage into the sea.
Environment Minister Murat Kurum said the sea snot was a serious problem and a 300-strong team was assessing dozens of points in the Sea of Marmara as well as water treatment facilities and sources of pollution.
He said the government would bring together all concerned parties on Friday and announce an action plan to protect the sea on Sunday.
Hydrobiologist Levent Artuz warned that such ecological problems will continue unless there is a change in people’s behaviour.
“As long as we carry on with those practices, it does not make much sense to expect different results. We will continue to encounter disasters like this,” he said, pointing to the increased discharge of sewage into the waters in recent years.
