Many of us wonder “Why are we still here??” God is putting the pieces together for the final act of mankind. But praise be to Jesus our Savior, we will be out of here before the hammer strikes so take comfort and occupy until He comes for us!

Yohanan- i’m about halfway through the video- it’s really well made and easy to follow- thank you!
it is truly amazing to me that we are still for the beginnings of all this…i do wonder if we will be here long enough to have usa be merged with canada and mexico with central america all under a “king” as one of the 10 kings talked about in Daniel….i encourage myself, though, with the realization that huge changes seemingly happen overnight these days- although it’s because they’ve been in the works for decades behind the scenes and it’s not until God allows it that the last puzzle piece of each evil plan is rapidly put into place.
Our Lord encouraged me this morning in His Word by having me read Revelation ch.19- especially verses 8 & 14- where this time it was more assuring and clear to me than ever before that the army following Christ Jesus at His Return- 2nd Coming- All the way down to Earth- is (or includes cuz could be w/the angels, too?) us (all Believers in the Rapture- the dead in Christ prior to it and us (i hope & pray it’s us) who are alive at the time of the Rapture) who will have been in Heaven with Jesus for the entire 7 year period of the Tribulation! He knew I’d read those comments on this video on u tube and would otherwise potentially been discouraged by the “crowd” there talking about themselves as the Believers who will be on Earth during the Tribulation period….which is not comforting…See 1 Thess. 4:15-18 and then we can “comfort one another with these words” thank The Lord!

Here’s a 10 minute clip of something positive that occurred at that rebellious “SatanCon 2023” event held in Boston
Satanists made headlines for tearing up a Bible and other antics at their “SatanCon 2023” event in Boston, Massachusetts, over the weekend, but popular worship leader and author Sean Feucht said something far more inspirational unfolded around the event: souls were saved. Feucht told CBN’s Faithwire there Is an “amazing community of ministries and a network of churches” and other leaders who coordinate evangelistic outreaches in the area. “I know this, because every year, for many years in a row, we would bring teams to the largest gathering of witches that happens in Salem … called ‘Haunted Happenings,'” he said. “And so we always bring worship teams in, and we bring evangelists in, and we see God do amazing things.” Feucht said these same groups came together to mobilize an effort around “SatanCon 2023,” with 250 evangelists hitting the streets in eight different sections around the gathering. “They prayed for hundreds of people,” Feucht said. “They were ministering and worshiping and … almost a hundred people gave their life to Jesus, confessed Him his Lord. It’s just so powerful and amazing.”

gratefulforgrace,
One simple thing to remember and to ease your mind is that Jesus is not a wife abuser and to allow His bride to go through seven years of God’s wrath, a time unlike any other in all of history, would be the equivalent to wife abuse. I just cannot see that no matter what the peanuts in the peanut gallery say. They have small ideas about God.

i guess the commenters did not watch much past the middle, cuz i just continued and it’s go MacArthur talking about that verse and the Rapture and being comforted! i thank Jesus for giving me faith not only in Him to be saved, but also giving me hope in the promise of being snatched up out of here before Yahweh’s wrath comes on the wickedness of man on the Earth! I know we can face anything He allows in our lives because He will always walk through it with us- He’s been showing my husband and me this over the past year- teaching us to believe and accept the truth that His grace is sufficient- but i know what is coming is beyond any horror anyone has ever experienced so far…unrepentant evil seems to be almost overflowing, and His wrath will soon follow

I don’t think the commenters read much of the Apostle Paul’s writings either. We are not appointed unto wrath. But I guess they have prepped supplies they need to sell. 🙄

Amen, Yohanan! His hand will never hurt us out of His wrath because Jesus took our punishment of our sin for us, and He will never hurt us out of any evil motive because He can’t -because that’s not Who He is…
He allows pain and suffering -all sorts of trials and tribulations- but only what is necessary as loving discipline to protect us…. or as growth opportunities- pruning in order to become even more fruitful (as He develops the fruit of the Spirit within us to benefit us and others…)
He brings us down paths where when we keep in step with Him along the way, with our focus on Him- and crying out to Him in childlike faith in His ability and willingness to help- we learn to recognize His loving leading and guiding- His instructing us with His eye on us (from Psalm 32:8)- and we see things more the way He does and grow closer to and more like our Savior….
Then we are more able to enjoy His presence, His peace and joy and are strengthened and begin living more and more of the eternal, fulfilling and abundant life He intended- being who He wants us to be to shine for His Kingdom in the darkness.

Exactly and how are we to do that if we are worried about having to endure God’s wrath being poured out on a disobedient world. And why is the world called disobedient? Because they rejected God’s salvation through His Son Jesus Christ, yet we who believe in Him are not of the disobedient therefore we will NOT have God’s wrath poured out on us and as you already said, Jesus took our sin upon Himself so that we may live in harmony with God. No way are we going through the Great Tribulation!

Wow, , talk about a ‘sight-seeing chess game of the Heavenly kind . . We’re so there . . our God IS is moving today, positioning all the players on stage for the final act, the Tribulation (Daniel’s 70th week). it’s happening, the world’s elite proud and ready for a ‘takeover’ surely against God’s fiery judgment . . . . ~. The power of God is about to be displayed upon the world.

I am in such awe of watching the Lord arranging the final pieces in place in the last moments of human history. Such a sobering time but then an emotional time as well. My emotions are all over the place…one moment I feel if I cry I’ll never stop and then in another moment my heart is so full I feel it could burst! I am completely at peace… Lord, Your will be done

Its not an easy time for sure. We are watching everything we’ve held dear being torn apart and destroyed and even though we KNOW the outcome it still isn’t easy to witness. I think God is getting us to loosen our grip on this world and preparing us for the next.

Seems like it. It might explain this:
Rev 13:14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth—by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
Rev 13:15 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.

Great thread Yohanan!
This is slightly off topic, but I spoke to a man recently who considers himself to be a devout Christian. However, he contends that the writings of the Apostle Paul should be taken out of the Bible. He calls Paul an ‘antinomian’ (a person who believes we are released by grace from observing the moral law). He clearly does not want to hear anything about Jesus having fulfilled the law. I guess you all know the argument.
This guy reckons the rapture won’t happen in the one next hundred years.
I am also guilty of having criticized Paul because I said (years ago) that his written sentences are way too long. I even said: “Give me a red pen and I’ll edit his letters for him”. Of course, I have repented of this stupidity since. Once I started grasping the immense value and priceless gift of the gospel of grace, my life has changed immeasurably.
It just goes to show how easily we can be deceived. I have a thing about pastors who beat their flock instead of feeding them with the love of Father God. Knowing He loves us is so important! We love because he first loved us (1 John 4:19).

Hahaha! Thanks Heidi for quoting the sentence that I messed up… I was trying to say “next one hundred years”. Humility is a good thing though!
The man in question is actually very ‘religious’. Goes to church three times a week, memorizes scripture and so on. However, I know where he misses it: if you get God’s law hammered into you time after time, the good news of the grace of the Lord Jesus is just too good to be true.
The (rather obscure) point I was trying to make is that if we focus on the legal requirements of the Old Covenant and not on the marvelous love made available to us in the New Covenant, then God’s mercy is far away. True love and our blessed hope become less important and even fade into the distance. That’s because the law makes you self-conscious instead of being Christ-conscious.
Come Lord Jesus! (Any time You like!)

I woke up this morning thinking that I’m becoming the “frog in the pot of water that is starting to boil”. The old story is that if you put a frog in a pot of water and then put that pot on the stove to boil the water, that by the time the frog figures out the water is starting to boil its too late to jump out. Maybe its just me, but was thinking that with all that is going on in the world today, I’ve somewhat becoming like that frog, desensitized to all of the chaos that continues to grow. The only reason I bring this up is I feel for those who are unsaved as they are being desensitized to the chaos and may not see the reason that we do to run to Jesus for safety and security. I pray that I turn up my sensitivity level so I can be more aware of those who need to hear the message.

I tend to feel like this late in the game everybody has made their decision. Now it’s just a matter of running the clock out. I suppose there are still people floundering and reachable in other places. We’re fortunate enough to be retired (as in stay home) and live on a farm outside of a small town where the whole area is full of church folk. Bob said on the occasions when he has said something to somebody he didn’t know they took the bait and ran with it. They knew as much or more as he did and were pleased to have an opportunity to talk about it.

I also feel this way Terry. I have seen a few people get saved at our church in the last year, most of them were young, but there were a couple of adults in their 30s/40s. Most people have made their mind up without the evidence of the supernatural. I imagine more than a few will change their mind after the Rapture. It is so sad that they require more proof than what has been proven in scripture and history. The cost for this stubbornness will be huge though, I keep praying while we wait. I want them to have time, I also want to go Home.

I read somewhere … immediately after the rapture … many that heard the Gospel will instantly believe, once we are gone. All those conversations will come to their mind like a V8 moment and then they will have regret procrastinating cause life will get VERY dark and they will lose their freedom quickly. All the “fun times” and whatever their idol was … watching tv, sports, etc. that they are living for now … it will not be there … they will own nothing and will see the horrors coming about on planet earth. The contrast will be extreme … like night from day.

We are finally having perfect weather … May is my favorite month … its spring and the hummingbirds are back and the spring flowers are in bloom. Even though I am enjoying the mini paradise around me … I still rather be in my eternal home!
Wednesday I was trying to figure out what number I would be at the food bank … so many cars already parked before 1:05 pm when I arrived. The car next to me I tapped on the window and this very good looking young Jewish guy rolled down the window … he was wearing a little Jewish hat and I asked him if he was here for the food bank. He said no, then I saw he had his water bill statement in his hands so he was there to pay his bill in the town hall office … he said tell me about it. So I informed him of the food bank offerings and was able to get the subject to the spiritual side and asked him if he was to die if he had assurance of heaven? He said no … tell me more … then when I mentioned Jesus dying for us … he said we don’t talk about Him, with a smirk on his face. Then he wished me a nice day and drove off. So sad, they are so blinded and stiff neck. I’m not gifted in reaching the Jews …. I have better success with the Catholics or those who not practicing anything/not affiliated with any church or masonry because I know their false doctrine. Oh well. I’m sure God will reach him somehow by bringing another believer across his path.
I feel the calm before the storm coming … meanwhile we are being invaded in our southern borders (Texas) with illegals … I sense something is going to happen soon …

Yep, normalcy bias, or the frog in the pot of water, is a common thing to most people. On one hand it helps neutralize to effects of all that is going on around us, but it also leave us vulnerable to disaster. I think the only reason we are all not as susceptible to it is because we have the Holy Spirit guiding us and warning us and annoying us if we are not listening to Him.

I guess I’m attached to our home for the God-given creativity of it, before I ever came. It’s comfort and peacefulness, treed property – so in that sense I love it. The thought of looters and destroyers entering our haven, is a sad thought. Sentiment all over! But not enough to keep me here! When Jesus calls us up, I’ll just be thankful for what was, but looking straight ahead to what the Lord forever has for us with Him!
